Chapter 407 - Batman's Intense Moment

As Batman unfurled his cape and glided through the air, the audience saw it as stylish and impressive. However, for those affected by the fear toxin in the video, the figure soaring in the sky was not the just Batman but a terrifying demon!

Batman managed to locate Ra's al Ghul. The fact that he was still alive surprised Ra's Al Ghul a bit. He with a hint of mockery said that Bruce had faked his own death to escape just like him.

Even as Batman closed in on him, Ra's al Ghul remained calm, seemingly not concerned about Batman at all.

"Alright, I must destroy the entire city now," he said in a hurry, heading to the train with a microwave emitter.

Batman replied firmly, "Do you think I can't handle your two henchmen?"

Ra's al Ghul sneered, "There are more than two."

He then went straight up to the train using a zip line, while Batman, without hesitation, pounced on the henchmen Ra's al Ghul left behind.

To be honest, the fighters trained by the League of Shadows were not your average henchmen. They were highly skilled in combat.

But without a doubt, Batman had the upper hand in terms of skills.

After a fight, Bruce Wayne managed to deal with these obstacles. However, when he looked around, he realized that the surrounding citizens, affected by the fear toxin, saw Batman as a demon and were swarming him.

Bruce Wayne couldn't harm them, as they were innocent people under the influence of the fear gas. He needed to escape. In the meantime, Ra's al Ghul had successfully set the train in motion.

"Is Batman even capable? It seems like he's too weak. Can't he handle even these ordinary people? If it were Captain America or Thor, they would have finished this in minutes!"

"What ninja master? He's just a lunatic who talks big and scares people. If it was Iron Man, he could easily take care of him. It's clear that Batman is not up to the task!"

"Give it a break. Batman isn't a god; he hasn't been injected with a serum. He's just a regular human, like us. He's doing a great job!"

"Yeah, and this Ra's al Ghul clearly knows Batman well. He's Batman's mentor, so it's normal for Batman to face challenges."

In the video, Bruce Wayne found himself in a dilemma again, and the viewers outside engaged in intense debates.

To be honest, after witnessing the final battle between the Avengers and Thanos, Batman's actions seemed like child's play to many. Tony Stark's world had Infinity Stones, time-travelling, and high-stakes battles, while Batman's struggles appeared insignificant.

These viewers were not in the minority. They were simply there to enjoy the excitement of the future videos shown in the quiz game and didn't care about the people of Gotham.

At this moment, they were both nervous and anxious. Even those who usually disliked Batman were silently cheering for Bruce Wayne.

Batman was, after all, Batman, and he didn't disappoint. He used his grapple gun to break free from the crowd, hooking onto the train speeding above. This high-in-the-sky train track was designed by Batman's father.

However, now it had become a shortcut for Ra's al Ghul to destroy Gotham City. The microwave emitter on the train was evaporating the city's underground water as it travelled.

As it passed, manhole covers were sent flying, and the fear gas was spreading rapidly. The situation was dire!

Bruce Wayne's situation was no better. He was hanging from the speeding train with his grapple gun, wildly thrown through the air along the way, smashing countless billboards and telephone poles.

Thankfully, Batman's suit was tough enough to provide substantial protection; otherwise, all these impacts would have left him severely injured, if not dead.

"Wow, Mr. Wayne, you're so cool! Even without webs, you're cooler than me swinging on webs!"

Peter Parker praised him.

Commissioner Gordon marvelled at the Batmobile: "Bruce, your gadgets are pretty amazing."

Bruce Wayne raised an eyebrow, "Inventions from Wayne Enterprises' Applied Sciences Division. There are a lot of interesting yet unused things in there. Do you like this car?"

Commissioner Gordon shrugged, "Which man doesn't like such a cool car?"

In the video, he drove this cool car through the streets, and finally, Bruce Wayne flew into the train.

Ra's al Ghul spotted him and frowned, "You never learn, do you?"

At this point, Bruce Wayne didn't waste any words; he went straight into battle. The mentor and student engaged in a fierce fight.

Ra's Al Ghul had taught Batman, an outstanding student. His own strength was not weak, and they fought back and forth. However, it was clear that he was gradually gaining the upper hand.

But he didn't realize that, during the fight, Batman had sabotaged the train's control system. So when he had Batman pinned to the ground and taunted him, saying, "Don't be discouraged and don't worry. You're just an ordinary man in a cape, so you can't fight against injustice, and you can't stop this train."

Bruce Wayne replied in a stern tone, "Who said I'm going to stop this train?"

Ra's al Ghul's expression changed as he looked up and realized that the train's control system had been damaged. The speeding train was out of control!

At the same time, Commissioner Gordon didn't let Batman down. He drove the Batmobile to Wayne Tower, activated the weapons system, and planted a few bombs at the base of the rail.

After a few attempts, they successfully destroyed a section of the track. Gordon couldn't help but exclaim, "That was awesome!"

Peter Parker, seeing this, jokingly said, "Mr. Gordon found the fun in this."

Commissioner Gordon laughed, "Yeah, this experience is entirely new for me."

He then winked at Bruce Wayne, "We're working well together, aren't we?"

With his help, Batman turned the tables during the fight. "Even if you can see in all directions, it won't help now!" Batman took out a batarang and aimed it at Ra's al Ghul's neck.

The ninja master remained calm, even teaching Bruce Wayne in the midst of the battle, "You've finally learned to do what you must."

He hoped that Bruce Wayne would take a life, even if it meant taking his own.
