Chapter 348 - Tony stark Death

Thanos wore a gauntlet, the same one that originally belonged to Doctor Banner, which was used to save the other Avengers with a snap of his fingers.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark had crafted another gauntlet for himself, or rather, he had modified the Iron Man suit itself to accommodate the power of the Infinity Stones!

In the end, all six Infinity Stones were now in Iron Man's possession.

Under the immense pressure from the Infinity Stones, Tony Stark looked at the bewildered Thanos, tilted his head, and said, "I am... Iron Man."

Yes, he was Iron Man, the first superhero to voluntarily reveal his identity in front of the public, under the spotlight.

If "I am inevitable" was Thanos's pursuit, then for Tony Stark, "I am Iron Man" was the creed he had upheld from the beginning to the end.

He didn't disappoint those who supported and trusted him, and most importantly, he didn't disappoint himself!

Tony Stark decisively snapped his fingers, which for him was a potentially fatal move, and now it was the turn of Thanos and his minions to experience what it felt like to turn to dust.

The massive alien creatures turned into scattered dust, and the countless alien soldiers also disintegrated into dust, including Thanos's trusted general, Ebony Maw, and the Black Order, all turned to dust.

In the end, Thanos, the madman with an iron heart, felt what exhaustion truly meant at the end of his life. He staggered and sat down on the ground, with a look of utter loss on his face, and then he too turned into a cloud of dust.

Thanos walked towards his end, and so did Tony Stark.

He was tired too, slowly sitting down, his face as pale as a sheet of paper. His once sharp and intelligent eyes gradually dimmed, like a setting sun, losing its colour.

James Rhodes, was the first to rush over, tears in his eyes, looking at his dear friend.

Next, Peter Parker, rushed over, crying and incoherent, "Mr. Stark! Mr. Stark, can you hear me? It's Peter! Hey! We won, Mr. Stark, we won, you did it, you did it..."

For Peter, Tony Stark was a mentor, a friend, and also like family, just like a father, always providing help and encouragement selflessly, without expecting anything in return.

Spider-Man cried like a child, and indeed, he was still an immature child.

But as the "father," Tony Stark was now too weak to comfort and encourage him.

Pepper Potts came over and gently pulled the emotionally overwhelmed Spider-Man away, squatting down to caress her husband's chest. She looked at her husband, covered in wounds, with tears in her eyes, but she mustered a smile. "Tony, look at me... we'll be okay, you can rest now."

She held back her tears, and the smile on her face was uglier than crying. Because Pepper knew very well that her husband, who had worked tirelessly for the sake of peace, was now tired, too tired to comfort others, and instead, he needed comfort from others.

She genuinely hoped that her responsible husband could have an easier journey at the end of his life.

Tony Stark couldn't hold on any longer; his eyes had completely lost their shine. Along with it, the eternal heart that symbolized Iron Man also went out.

Pepper planted a gentle kiss on his cheek, no longer hearing the reassuring promises from her beloved, "I won't let you worry anymore in the future!"

She sobbed and lay in his gradually cooling embrace.

They, both of them, had lost Iron Man forever.

Outside the holographic screen, the audience, after a moment of silence, suddenly erupted. Some were crying, mourning for Iron Man, while others were wiping tears in silence.

Especially the female viewers, already emotional, were even more deeply moved by the farewell of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. They were crying uncontrollably. In contrast, male viewers appeared calmer.

"Tony Stark is a true and respectable hero. We will always remember him. He may have died, but he will live forever in our hearts..."

"Hey, buddy, don't get too caught up in it. What we're seeing is a video from the future. The real Iron Man is still alive and well!"

"Oh, are you the only smart one here? Are the rest of us all fools? We're getting emotional right now, do you need to remind us?"

"Regardless, compared to other superheroes in the Avengers, I always liked Iron Man more! He truly showed that a mortal can stand against gods!"

"Yes, Tony did..."

Stark Industries, Pepper sat on the sofa, tears streaming down her face, repeatedly dialling Tony Stark's phone.

Of course, at this moment, Tony Stark was in the Eternal Space, cut off from the touch with the outside world, and no one answered her phone.

Even so, she kept pressing the replay button, "Tony, Tony..."

Happy wiped away tears at the corner of his eye and comforted her, "Tony is fine, Pepper. I think he'll be back soon. He's fine, he's doing well now."

Pepper took a deep breath, her eyes red, and glanced at him, "I know, I know, but this is Tony's future. I'm going to lose him!"

Happy reassured her, "The future can be changed, right? Haven't we already changed many tragic futures? Tony is so clever, let's trust him!"

Pepper felt a bit better at his words and whispered, "I just wish I could participate in the quiz game too..."

Since Tony Stark became Iron Man, she had always been worried, but she had also silently supported him from behind, managing the vast corporate conglomerate for him.

In the future, she would raise a lovely daughter with Tony, becoming a standard wife and mother.

But now she felt that her support for her husband was not enough; she couldn't just silently support Iron Man from behind. She should stand in the forefront and fight alongside him just like her future self!

Kamar-Taj.

Stephen Strange rubbed his chin and praised, "Well, I have to admit, Tony did a great job. He's a reliable and trustworthy teammate."

The Ancient One smiled faintly, "He's also very talented. If he were to study magic, he would surely achieve great heights."
