Chapter 308 - Tony Stark's Little Angel

After the video ended, it immediately sparked widespread discussion among the audience:

"Time travel? I finally understand why Thor killed Thanos before, but they still looked so troubled. They didn't want Thanos' head; they wanted the Infinity Stones to undo the disaster!"

"Isn't this obvious? Are you only realizing this now? Let me tell you, back in the previous round of the game when the Time Variance Authority took Loki away, I already guessed this ending."

"Heh heh, since you're so smart, why weren't you selected to answer questions?"

"Because I'm not a superhero."

In Kamar-Taj,

Stephen Strange said thoughtfully, "If it weren't for the video exposing the Time Variance Authority earlier, I would have thought that the future developments were full of randomness and unpredictability. But now... it just feels absurd. Whether it's Ant-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, or even Thanos, they all seem like actors following a script. What's even scarier is that they aren't aware of it!"

The Ancient One shook her head, "Stephen when you step outside the river of time, you won't think this way. All of this is more complex than you can imagine."

"Perhaps," Stephen Strange shrugged, "I'm just curious why my future self would give away the Time Stone."

In the previous quiz game, the reason for Doctor Strange's actions was not disclosed.

The Ancient One said, "Stephen, your duty is to guard the Eye of Agamotto. It's not only a sacred artefact you must protect, but also your weapon to conquer. Perhaps... you saw some possibilities of the future through the Eye of Agamotto, and that's why you made the choice you thought was right."

Stephen Strange nodded, "Master, that's what I believe too. If I simply handed over the Eye of Agamotto casually just to save that arrogant guy, then I'd be a complete fool."

In the Eternal Space, Tony Stark sneezed, and Thor glanced at him, "Sick? Your weak mortal body is such a burden. I suggest you wear your Iron Man suit for future quiz games."

Tony Stark touched his nose, "Heh heh, I'm sure someone out there is missing me or idolizing me. This is psychic resonance. Sorry, Thor, with your meagre brain cells, you might not understand the existence of psychic abilities."

Thor chuckled, "I only know that because of your arrogance, we got another question wrong!"

"On the other side got it wrong too, didn't they? They answered and got it wrong, deducting 4 points!" Tony Stark waved his hand, "This is good news for us; we just need to answer the next one correctly."

At this point, the scoreboard on the screen displayed the results. After both teams answered three questions, they all had negative scores.

[Team A - Iron Man, Thor, Nebula: -4 points. Team B - Captain America, Black Widow, Ant-Man: -1 point.]

Fortunately, the game had just begun, and they had a chance to catch up. However, Team A faced a more severe problem. If they answered one more question wrong, even if it was a normal answer, deducting 1 point would accumulate to 5 points.

Once negative points reached 5, according to the rules of the game, they would receive an electric shock punishment.

So Tony Stark reminded, "Remember, let me handle the next question. We can't afford to get it wrong again!"

Thor snorted, "I'll give you one more chance. If it doesn't work, I'll take over!"

Nebula remained silent.

Team B had a much more harmonious team atmosphere, and Steve Rogers encouraged, "Don't worry, the game has just begun, and we're already ahead."

Natasha smiled, "That's right, the ones who should be worried now are Tony and his team."

Scott Lang also felt relaxed and in a good mood. "Guys, take it easy. We'll win this game!"

On the screen, the scoreboard gradually faded, and the next question was displayed: [The answering mode for this round is 'watch before answering.' A video will be played. Please watch carefully, and after the video ends, you'll be given corresponding questions to answer.]

Tony Stark grimaced, "I don't like this answering mode."

But whether he liked it or not, he had to focus when the video started.

The video began with a small lakeside cabin in a picturesque setting. Tony Stark, dressed casually, emerged from the cabin. He stood with his hands on his hips, looking very relaxed, and walked to an outdoor campsite beside the cabin, clapping his hands, "It's lunchtime, Morgan."

"Morgan Stark, do you want lunch?"

Seeing this, Tony Stark outside the screen widened his eyes and dared not blink.

In the video, a little girl wearing an Iron Man helmet crawled out of a tent, and raised her hand threateningly, "Give up lunch, or face the consequences!"

Her childish voice and demeanour were exceptionally cute.

"Alright," Tony Stark hugged her, "You can't wear that; it's an anniversary gift for your mom."

He kissed the blue helmet and then took it off, ruffling the girl's hair, "What would you like for lunch? I can make you some cricket-filled lettuce wraps."

"No!"

Seeing this, Tony Stark outside of the screen couldn't help but smile with delight, muttering to himself, "Oh my God, she's so adorable. Is she mine and Pepper's child? She's like a little angel!"

For him, this was an immense surprise, and even if they lost this game, it would still be worth it!

Natasha exclaimed, "Tony's daughter is really cute. It seems he's enjoying a peaceful retirement life."

Steve Rogers smiled, "Yes, he's done enough for us and everyone. This peaceful life is what he longed for."

Unfortunately, the peaceful life in the video was soon disrupted, and the culprits were none other than his old comrades - Captain America, Black Widow, and Ant-Man.

The three of them arrived in a car, surprising Tony Stark. He just nodded in acknowledgement and took his daughter back into the house, seemingly not very pleased with the arrival of his old comrades because it often meant trouble.
