Chapter 297 - Nick Fury reward

In the video, Nick Fury, pretending to sing, once again made everyone laugh.

Tony Stark chuckled, "Nick, I can't believe you have this goofy side. Tell me, have you fallen in love with her?"

Nick Fury stared at the video of his younger self, then cursed, "Well, now I understand how Thor felt... this kind of dark history should be permanently deleted, I had even forgotten about it myself!"

To be honest, if only he had seen this video, it would have been a nostalgic memory. But now, it was being broadcast to the entire universe, which was hard to accept. Just thinking about it made him feel awkward.

But Nick Fury had thick skin after all, so he just brushed off the insult.

At the end of the video, Carol Danvers handed him a pager and reminded Nick Fury to only call in emergencies and not to bother her with random calls.

Tony Stark mused, "You hid it well, Nick. Why didn't you call her during the Battle of New York?"

Nick Fury looked at him and said, "That's because I trusted you guys more."

"Heh heh..." Tony Stark smirked.

At this moment, the scoreboard appeared on the screen with a prompt, [This round of the game is about to end. Congratulations to player Tony Stark, Player Loki Laufeyson, and Player Nick Fury for winning. Mysterious rewards will be distributed soon]

On the scoreboard, Tony Stark was the undisputed first with 12 points, followed by Loki with 8 points, and Nick Fury had 3 points, barely making it into the winners' group.

The two losers were Hank Pym with 2 points and Scott Lang with 1 point. Dr Pym's luck was indeed not great; he was just 1 point away from entering the winners' group.

"But this game wasn't without its gains. At least, it has given me hope and direction..." Hank Pym said without much disappointment.

In the future video provided by the quiz game, Scott Lang successfully returned from the quantum realm, which also indicated that his missing wife was very likely still alive!

Even though the video didn't provide direct evidence, for Hank Pym, just having hope was enough. Compared to that, losing this game was something he could accept.

Scott Lang muttered, "I'm not afraid of losing all my points, I just don't want to get shocked again."

Well, he didn't have many points anyway, so losing them all wasn't a big deal. It's just that he had been electrocuted quite severely in the previous punishment, and thinking back, his muscles still throbbed in pain.

Tony Stark joked, "Let me tell you some good news, Don't worry, the punishment for failing the game is not electrocution. But there's also some bad news - you'll lose one of your abilities at random, and you might become blind, deaf, or mute."

Scott Lang's face became even more grim at these words.

At this moment, the Quiz game began to distribute the rewards for victory. First, a mysterious reward was given to Nick Fury.

Nick Fury's name was highlighted on the screen, then slowly faded, replaced by a purple light. [Congratulations to player Nick Fury for receiving the mysterious reward- Mangekyō Sharingan]

The purple light descended from the screen and flew to Nick Fury's left Eye. Suddenly, it burst into a firework-like display, revealing a crimson iris with a constantly spinning fan inside.

Tony Stark sneered, "You got lucky, Nick. The Quiz game just gave you an eyeball."

Nick Fury raised his hand to touch his left eye and groaned, "It feels... very uncomfortable. This eyeball seems to have a discord with my body, darn it! I don't want a useless eyeball as a reward?"

To be honest, he was quite satisfied with his one-eye look; it added to his charisma. Now, with this strange eye, he felt extremely out of place.

Around his left eye socket, it felt like countless needles were pricking, causing unbearable pain.

Furthermore, he realized he was getting weaker. This red eye seemed to be devouring his stamina and mental strength!

"Turn it off, darn it! Shave this darn eye off!" He shouted as he held his head, gradually returning to normal, panting heavily. "Seriously, I'd rather not have this reward. Anything would be better than this useless eye!"

"Give it up, Nick. The rewards from the quiz game are all treasures; maybe you just don't know how to use it yet," Tony Stark shrugged. "Let's go back and research it together."

Loki turned his neck and said, "It's my turn now."

His name appeared on the screen, followed by a purple light ball.

[Congratulations to player Loki Laufeyson for receiving the 36 Variations Incomplete Edition.]

The purple light ball flew directly into him, and Loki also gained corresponding knowledge in his mind. Although not as clear as when he first received the Sylas inheritance, it allowed him to immediately learn these spells.

"It may not be a gold reward, but it's still good. It seems to be a different magical system... very interesting, but it's a shame it's incomplete," Loki said with some regret, shaking his head.

He was already quite skilled in shapeshifting, which was his signature spell. However, his original shapeshifting had many flaws, unable to fully mimic others; it only changed appearances, not inner qualities.

For example, when he turned into Thor, he still couldn't lift Mjolnir. But now, after mastering the 36 Variations, he had made a qualitative leap in shapeshifting!

Tony Stark chuckled, "You guys are second and third, getting a purple reward is already good. The gold reward must be for the first place, which is me, of course. And by the way, don't forget our bet."

Tony Stark received the purple halo without responding to Loki's taunt.

This time, the reward was a bit different from the previous Ancient Tech Brand. The latter provided him with inspiration and the exploration of another power system.

This time, the Goblin and Dwarf Tech Encyclopedia was just knowledge; not all knowledge would be useful for him.

Tony Stark felt like his efforts to win the first place this time didn't bring him much.
