Tony Stark pondered, "Let me guess, do you remember the future video I shared with Peter? There's a part where the two of us, along with Stephen Strange and Peter Quill, are fighting against Thanos on an alien planet.
It was there that we lost to Thanos, allowing him to take the Time Stone. Perhaps this video is what happened after that, when Thanos gathered all the Infinity Stones on Earth, and I survived."
The subsequent footage confirmed his guess.
The camera shifted, revealing a worn-out Tony Stark, talking to the battered Iron Man helmet, muttering to himself, "Is it activated?"
Despite being a high-tech suit, the Iron Man suit was now being used as a camera.
With the helmet's eyes lighting up, Tony Stark leaned against the ship's interior, looking utterly exhausted as he said, "Hey, Pepper Potts, if you find this video, please don't upload it online; it's too sentimental. I don't know if you can see these, or if you're even there. Oh God, I hope you're okay. Today marks the twenty-first day, no, the twenty-second day. Compared to the vastness of the universe, my existence is insignificant. If you don't think too much about it, I'm doing fine, and I owe it to our Blue meanie here."
With Tony Stark's weary voice, the video showed him working with the Nebula to tend to his injuries. Tony's painful expression was evident in the footage.
Loki taunted, "Without your armour, Tony Stark, you're just a burden. But you surprisingly haven't screamed yet; you do have a somewhat pitiful courage."
Tony Stark chuckled, "Let me think about the wounds on my body. Oh, right, the future me in the video got injured while fighting Thanos. Loki, I imagine with your godly body, you'd fare much better against Thanos, right?, Oh, sorry, I forgot, he choked you to death."
Loki's face darkened, realizing he couldn't outwit this sarcastic Tony.
Scott Lang chimed in, enjoying the spectacle, "Loki, can you not fight with him while watching the video?"
Loki rolled his eyes, "If his suit is as tough as his mouth, maybe he could beat Thanos."
In the video, Tony Stark and Nebula were repairing the spaceship. "The fuel cell exploded during the battle, and we came up with a solution: using directional ion charging, we gained about 48 hours of flight time. But now we're out of options. We're thousands of light-years away from the nearest planet. Oxygen can only last until tomorrow morning, and then... that's it. I once said there wouldn't be any more surprises, but I sincerely hope to complete this final mission. But now, as you know, don't be too sad. I mean, you can grieve for a few weeks and then continue living with remorse. I have to lie down now, these days have been the same. I'm doing fine pepper, Everything is fine. I dream of you; it's always you."
After turning off the recording, Tony Stark put on his jacket and lay down on the ground, closing his eyes slowly.
From the window behind him, you could see the vast and beautiful galaxy, but to Tony Stark at this moment, it was just an empty graveyard.
"Is this a farewell?" Scott Lang scratched his head. "Sorry, I'm genuinely surprised. After all the talk about Loki, I thought the new issue would be about Loki, not you, Tony Stark."
Hank Pym glanced at him, "Haven't you noticed? The quiz game has been about you and me first, then Loki, and now it's Tony Stark's turn."
"Well, I didn't really pay attention to that detail."
Scott Lang shook his head, "Tony, your future self doesn't look too good, he is tired."
Tony Stark raised an eyebrow, "Being tired is normal, especially since I survived Thanos. Dying would have been easier."
He said this while glancing at Loki, making a sly insinuation. Loki sneered, "You won't live much longer; this is your farewell letter!"
"Perhaps," Tony Stark shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe a miracle will happen."
In the video, he seemed to have given up hope and was sleeping deeply, as if he had passed away. Nebula came over, pinched his cheek, and turned him over. Tony Stark didn't wake up.
When Nebula helped him sit in the pilot's seat, Tony Stark's eyelids trembled slightly, indicating he was still alive. But looking at his shape, he appeared extremely exhausted, a far cry from the once lively billionaire playboy.
Nebula silently lowered her head and left. The video ended.
Soon, the first question appeared:
[ Can Tony Stark survive?]
[A: Yes
B: No]
It was another multiple-choice question. Loki immediately sneered, "Poor, insignificant mortal, unable to survive in space. Tony Stark, this is your end, isn't it?"
Tony Stark remained silent, just subtly signalling Nick Fury with a glance.
Nick Fury sighed, "Tony, you've done enough. You've given it your all in this final mission."
Hank Pym furrowed his brow, "I don't believe a Stark can just die like this."
Scott Lang said, "What kind of miracle could keep him alive? Thousands of light-years from Earth, running out of oxygen, it's hard to imagine you'll survive. Of course, the same goes for the rest of us."
"Well, not including me," Loki retorted.
Scott Lang smirked, "Fine, except you, the God of Tricks. Did you notice what the blue-skinned alien woman did at the end? She bowed her head in mourning. Maybe at the very end of the video, tony had already breathed his last breath!"
Loki laughed, "Well analyzed."
However, Hank Pym reminded him, "The video did hint at that, hinting that Tony would die. But don't forget, we were misled by similar questions earlier, Scott. Let's learn from our mistakes."
Without giving them much time to think, almost as soon as Hank Pym finished speaking, the countdown for answering began.
The others hurriedly pressed the answer buttons in front of them, especially Nick Fury and Hank Pym, who were in the loser's bracket and needed to fight for a chance to join the winners.
