Chapter 278 - Dead or not?

After the time criminal Loki was captured and brought back to headquarters, Mobius punished him for his betrayal by exiling him into a repeating cycle of events. Loki would be taught by Sif repeatedly.

Seeing Loki's torture, Tony Stark smiled and said, "I like this time loop punishment; it suits you, Loki. Don't you think?"

Nick Fury also joked, "I think Sif will feel very happy when she sees this video!"

Loki patted his forehead, "I almost forgot about that! And it was just a prank."

"Hehe, so you think cutting her hair is a prank, then killing people and arson is also a prank for you right?" Tony Stark mocked, "Loki, we all know what kind of guy you are now. Even if you're not comparable to a lunatic like Thanos, you're not a nice man!"

Loki shrugged, "I've never thought of myself as a good person."

He just felt a little embarrassed. This kind of unbearable past has been broadcast repeatedly to the whole universe now, but after thinking about it, what could be more shocking than falling in love with himself?

Loki in the video seemed to have resigned himself to his fate. When Sif appeared again, he didn't make any more excuses and honestly apologized: "Sif, please, don't do it again. I'm a bad person, I know, I'm a bad person. I cut your hair because I thought it was fun, but it wasn't fun at all. I crave attention because I'm a narcissist, and it's because I'm afraid of being alone."

Tony Stark shrugged his shoulders, "He has realized, at least he has recognized himself. But to be honest, wouldn't you have been beaten less if you apologized earlier, or do you like it like this?"

Sif accepted Loki's apology and didn't do anything more. She left with the words, "You will always be alone," and then turned and left.

At this point, Agent Mobius came over, planning to interrogate Loki.

After Loki's previous betrayal, he was now on guard against Loki and didn't believe the truth he was telling. When Loki realized this, he began to make up lies as he spoke.

Lying had become almost instinctive for Loki, and he just opened his mouth, claiming that he had conspired subversively with Sylvie a long time ago and that he was the main messenger while Sylvie was just someone he had deceived.

Scott Lang shook his head and said with emotion, "Loki, it's too smooth the way you lie. Look at his expression and tone; he speaks lies as if they are true!"

Tony Stark sneered and said, "He is the master of conspiracy; lying is his instinct. But Loki loves himself; he deliberately shifted the blame away from Sylvie and took it upon himself. And surprisingly, Loki, you have a very manly side."

Nick Fury said, "Mobius is not an idiot; he should not be fooled so easily. After all, he has already been fooled."

Sure enough, Mobius in the video seemed to inadvertently reveal that the Sylvie had been reset, in other words, the Sylvie was eliminated and was dead.

Now Loki became anxious, and his expression changed drastically. Although he wanted to cover it up in the end, he pretended not to care about Sylvie at all: "Now I'm finally free."

But Mobius was an experienced agent, so he naturally saw through his disguise and said with a smile, "Look at your eyes, you like her!

How could two-time criminals with the same identity, especially you, have such a sick, distorted romantic relationship?, You, are in love with yourself! Eww how can you even though about that"

Tony Stark suppressed his smile, "Look, your love is destined not to be accepted by the world. But it doesn't matter, Loki; I think the rest of us should understand and support you."

Scott Lang shrugged, "Although it's strange, love is so wonderful. Tony Stark is right; go for it, Loki, and I'll support you."

Loki rolled his eyes, "I don't need your support?"

In the video, he was angered by Mobius, so his rage gradually rose, and finally, he couldn't help shouting: "You are all-time criminals! All the people who are working are time criminals; the time guardian did not create you; he kidnapped you from the timeline and then erased your memory!"

Loki took the opportunity to reveal the truth to Sylvie. The staff, including Mobius, just like him and Sylvie, had their own families, and lives. Then they were arrested, their memory was erased, and they were reduced to staff members. They thought that they were all working for the great guardian of time. They belonged to the official staff of the organization, but they were all-time criminals in essence. Reform-through-labour prisoners!

However, Mobius still sneered at the truth revealed by Loki, emphasizing that he was a hopeless liar and that there was no truth in his words.

Then the conversation ended, and the guards were arranged to send Loki away. Before leaving, Loki said, "You know, there are quite a few liars here, and you are the biggest liar among them."

Mobius didn't take it seriously, "Why? Because I lied to you that your girlfriend died?"

Loki said, "No, I'm grateful for that. I mean you lied to yourself."

Mobius glanced back at him, lost in thought, and the video ended there.

Hank Pym said, "The two of them are right. It is indeed a scam, and it can even be said to be like a huge prison! It seems that there are law enforcement officers and time criminals in it, but in fact, they are all criminals."

Tony Stark smiled, "so I was right"

Hank Pym raised his eyebrows and said, "I just agree with certain ideas. Parallel timelines will indeed breed chaos. Loki's falling in love with himself is proof!"

At this moment, a new question appeared on the light curtain.

[are Loki and Sylvie going to die?]

[A: Yes

B: No]

Tony Stark raised his eyebrows and said, "I can guess what happened next. It must be that the two of them cooperated and overthrew the Time Variance Authority. Their death is like a lie!."
