Chereads / Waves: A Little Mistaken Fate / Chapter 11 - Big Daddy

Chapter 11 - Big Daddy

In another school, compared to the one Eugene goes to, anyone would agree on one thing, which is that it is way more moderate and modest.

South Randie High School, an institution with nothing special about it and being your average everyday school.

If there was a single feature that makes it stand out, that would be, it being a school owned by the city of South Randie, which obviously is the name giving to the school.

In South Randie High, class 3B, students there could be seen with various facial expressions of shock, mockery, disgust, sadness, curiosity and even fear, as they all had their eyes on the phone.

Everyone's mouth were moving as they all discussed and gossiped on what they were all watching through their phones.

"New breaking news, in the city of South Randie, Vincestreet district also known as the red zone district, we have 'another' school shootout in Vincestreet High.

This time around, the local police in the discussed area, have reported that the shooter's identity, who is currently deceased as he died with a severe brutalized skull, done to him with a wrench, Donald Ramirez.

The one responsible for his death, is a student, by the name, Jimmy Wilshire. Again, it was an act of self defence, as his father, Henry Wilshire, was a victim of the incident.

According to the school principal's testimony, he was a transfer student, who transferred in Thursday this week, which seems fishy, as the incident happened today, being Friday.

According to the local police department, they have assured the public that they have already started the investigation of the incident.

Their statement was, I quote, "this incident is obviously a planned one, but we assure you, the masses, that we will get to the bottom of this case".

Once again, Congressman Steve Davidson, has apologised to the public and promised to provide instant and adequate compensation for the victims' families for their painful and heavy loss.

It's quite a sad event, since it has been more than a year the school had their last shootout.

The public felt assured that such incident wouldn't occur again, but, it is indeed a shock to us.

We also pray, that there wouldn't be any consecutive shootouts and brawls just like the past years of the very Vincestreet High.

So, what do you have to say on this, dear commissioner of..." everyone's phone sounded simultaneously.

At that moment, a chubby guy walked into the classroom. He was dark in complexion, had his afro out and well made, and with the aid of his size, he looks cute.

"Ooh, hey daddy." A female student greeted seductively while the chubby guy responded with a wink.

Most ladies in the class gave similar seductive greetings as well as showing of their charms as the chubby guy walked in. It was well obvious that he was a ladies guy.

"Ayo, what's up Big D!?" a friend from the back desk in the class greeted as he waved his hand.

He walks straight to the back seat and gave a slang like handshake with the guy who called out on him.

"Yo Pitcher, I'm doing good, you?" Big D responded as he made to the seat next to his buddy.

"Am good bro, you took long in the cafeteria, anyways, did you listen to the breaking news that aired recently?" Pitcher asked.

"Huh? Which news?" Big D questioned.

"Here you go daddy." Said a girl as she walked to the both and sat on Big D's left lap, which he grabs her waist while she shows him the video with her own phone.

After paying attention to the news, his face got saddened and he face-palms himself before speaking up,

"Don did fucked up huge time, hungry for some power, he didn't even get permission to be the students' president of Vincestreet High, because surely I know that he must have felt too big and made up a logic, believing he deserves the post."

"That has always been his problem but I thank God we were able to convince him to go take over Vincestreet High, after all, it became so obvious that he had his eyes on your position as GH gang leader." Pitcher adds.

"Come on, isn't it obvious that we are joking? Like, who the fuck names their gang, Gangster-Hood, huh?

We are even number twelve or the least in the ranking list of this country's school gang. Why the hell does he want to take over, as if I'm actually the boss." Big D complains.

"So what are we going to do about the mission?" Pitcher asked as he had a serious expression on his face.

"Okay daddy, I'll give you guys some space." The girl said as she left the two.

"Well, we have to go there and make one or two scenes and injure the one in the school, aspiring to beat the top there." Big D suggested.

"Well, that's the only option left, what choice do we have?" pitcher agreed with him.

"Hmm, Vincestreet High, a private school owned by the Congressman. A school reputed as the worst in Randie State, both in the students characteristics and academic performance.

A school that got disqualified due to being on a thirteen loosing streaks in the inter-school academic competitions.

Again, being worst for having the highest rate of criminals that either dropped out or graduated from the school." Big D narrated.

"But why are there still students attending it, as well as people working and teaching in it?" Pitcher asked out of curiosity.

"Isn't that obvious? The low school fee prices for parents with little or no finance, and high salaries that are way better than any average school.

Well, back in the years, when I was still a first year, brawls and shootouts were pretty common. The most memorable to me being the bloody bath brawl as Oscar ascended to become the school students' president." Big D answered.

"But I heard that he is now dead."

"Yeah, same for the last two students' presidents of Vincestreet High, Chiro and Ken."

"That is too sketchy, who is responsible?" Pitcher asked out of curiosity.

"Don't know, don't care either." Big D responds.
