'Soon I will be there.'
I thought as I was looking outside of my carraige thought window. My carraige was running through the roads of the royal capital of White Kingdom. The name of royal capital is Snow City. My destination was Immortal Dragon Treasury. It is known in the world for it's treasures. It has branches all over the world and the branch in this city is the biggest of all the branches in the world. My mother is the president of Immortal Dragon Treasury.
My name is Ving Draconic. Soon, I arrived at my destination. I got out of the carriage and there I saw royal family's carriages.
I didn't think much and just continued walking toward the gate of the branch. I was wearing black suit with a black cloth on my shoulder. I had black gloves in my hands. They were the same as my black hair. I had expensive jewelry on my clothes.
I kept walking and wanted to entered the gate but a guard stopped me.
"Hello, who are you?"
The guard called me with respect because he knew that i was wealthy due to my clothes.
Sigh...
I just came here and didn't tell mother.
I looked at the door and then...
ROOOAAAARRR
A large roar of a dragon was heard. All the people got scared. It was my Lightning Dragon King Inergy. The roar continued for a while and then the clouds began to appear in the sky.
RUMBLE, RUMBLE!
The thunder also roared. Inergy is a special power every human has but their power varies. Every human being has inergy halls in their body in which inergy is stored and it can be used until it is finished then it will restore as time would went by or it can be quickly restored by mediating or doing some other things. Every human has one or two inergy. Mostly geniuses have two inergy.
The guard was sweating profusely. He also peed a little. I looked at him with cold eyes. He broke in cold sweat.
"Who has the guts to challenge Immortal Dragon Treasury?"
A woman came shouting and her aura was leaking. She had a mature aura around her. She was wearing red dress that made herkre mature. She had black hair and voilet eyes. She was my mother Vina Draconic.
Behind her many other people came but two were had different demeanor than other and they wore more expensive clothes. They, of course, would be from royal palace.
I looked at my mother and started walking toward her. I had already diminished my inergy.
She looked at me and she had a surprised looked and then it changed into a happy expression.
"You are here, baby."
She spoke in a cheerful tone.
"Don't make me your baby."
"But you are my baby. Anyway, why did you use your inergy?"
"The guard asked me who am I? So, I answered."
"Your way of answering is really twisted, baby."
"I don't care."
"You should, baby."
"Why?"
"Because people judge on how people act."
"I don't care how people think about me. They can go to hell for all I care. They are not worth my attention. Only dumb people try to impress people while smart people do what they want. It is a fact."
Sigh...
She sighed and spoke with a defeated tone, "I can't win against you."
"Then, don't try to."
"Ugh!"
She then took me to her office.

I was sitting on a sofa inside the office of my mother. My mother was sitting beside me. In front of me two people were sitting. They were the ones from royal palace. One was a middle aged man while another was young girl who is 19 years old, two years older than me. She had long white hair and a bit black at front. She had black pupils with red cross in them. She was wearing white suit with white cloth on her shoulder. She was wearing rings on her fingers.
"Baby, this is emperor of Evergreen Kingdom, Mian Evergreen and that is the only princess of Evergreen Kingdom, Reina Evergreen and you fiance."
My mother explained their identities to me. I raised an eyebrow at the last two words.
"Fiance?"
I had come from the country side to the royal capital and now I have a fiance. I am literally speechless.
"Yes, that is right."
"You are doing this for political purposes, right?"
"Uh..."
"I knew it. Mother, I thought Immortal National Treasury was neutral."
"Yes, I know that but royal family needs our support and it will be good for us too and it's not like we are gonna coup d'etat with another family."
She explained with a bright smile. When I heard those words, the temperature in the room fell dramatically.
ROAR.
A faint sound of dragon can be heard. On the opposite side, an image of griffin appeared behind Reina. It was a simple griffin with no elemental power.
SCREECH.
Griffin screech and the atmosphere became more tensed.
I narrowed my eyes and spoke in a low but dominant tone, "Lowly creature, know your place."
As princess heard my voice, she narrowed her eyes and griffin screeched with a deafening voice.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH.
ROOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRR.
In response to screech, my dragon roared with a loud volume. All the windows in the building got destroyed. Due to the pressure of the air, furniture got blown away.
"What are you doing, baby?"
My mother hurriedly spoke in a panic. Emperor also tried to stop princess but before anything my dragon attacked the griffin and bit at its neck.
SCREEEEECH.
Griffin screeched but at the end griffin disipated and thus, it all finished. I also retracted my dragon.
"That is my answer, mother."
I spoke and left the office.
...
As soon as Ving left, a silence fell over the place.
"Sorry about that, Your Majesty."
"No, no it's okay but his reaction was right. After all, dragon would feel rivalry from these legendary creatures."
Vina gave a bitter smile and then again silence fell over the place.
"Father."
Princess called emperor.
"Yes?"
Emperor looked toward the princess.
"I accept this engagement."
"But-"
"Don't worry about him. I will make him accept it."
Emperor gave a small smile. He knew his daughter saw something in that boy. She felt intimated for the first time. She had cold sweat on her face. Emperor didn't the exact reason for her accepting the engagement as first she was not positive about it but still he is optimistic about the things now.
Vina also gave a smile on her beautiful face.
