Today is the game orientation. Ayane and I are already on our way to the Great Square.
Unlike other creatures, we don't travel by horse. Instead, we travel with our flying boards.
Ayane and I arrived after only a few minutes.
I looked around the Great Square. The place is surrounded with lots of statues of the previous Kings and Queens.

The statues aren't sculpted very well.
Some of the statues have a huge nose, while the others almost didn't have a nose.
And the clothes of the statues looked nothing like royalty.
Like duh😒 I think I can sculpt better with my arrow than them.
And just look at the pillars. They look like they're about to break down.
I wonder if the King saw this devastating place already. He should renovate this place before leaving. Or maybe if I won, this is the first place I will renovate🤔. This place is so old and shitty.
"Busy criticising yet?" Ayane suddenly spoke from behind.
"Sister! Just look at this place! It's so old!" I said and rolled my eyes.
"I see! Instead of criticizing the place! Look at those two!" She said and pointed at a couple near the road.
The girl is sitting on the ground while the guy is sitting in front of her holding her on her back.
Tch. They have the guts to flirt here😑? In this place really😑?
"They're such flirts!" I muttered with displeasure.
"No they're not... You just didn't see what happened! Besides, you don't know them." Ayane exclaimed while shaking her head.
"Then care to explain?😒" I asked with my arms crossed.
"That girl is a mermaid! I saw her earlier with the bunch of those 'fair ladies' at the corner! And she got separated from her 'sisters'!" Ayane explained between her chuckles.
"Then she stood in that road like an idiot. The palace horses are approaching but she doesn't seem to know what adrenaline rush means! So that red-haired guy saved her life!" She added and laughed.
"Oh! So she's an idiot!" I said and huffed with sheer disinterest.
"Having fun?" A guy's voice suddenly spoke from behind us so we immediately turned to him.
He's wearing a black cloak with a hood. And he's sitting on the huge root of the huge tree behind him. He resembles one of the grim reapers.
But this one is a vampire. And quite a nosey one.
"You must be the famous judgemental elf!" He said with a monotonous tone.
Tch😒 What does he want really? Is he trying to flirt? With that tone?
"Be careful of what you think elf! I can hear your mind!" He said.
"I'm not the only one here who can read mind elf... So do not bring your attitude here as if this is your home... The world is bigger and more cruel than your mouth... You wouldn't want to find yourself the talk of the town..." He said in one go.
Why does he keep calling me elf??? Does he think I don't know that???😡
"Have fun!" He said then left dashing away like a lightning bolt.
Tch. Does he really think he can scare me with his 'world cruelty' something? I probably know that better than him.😡😤
He's such a loser.
"Aack!!!" I exclaimed when Ayane suddenly smacked my head.
"What's your problem!!?" I yelled at her.
"You're such a headache, Abie!" she exclaimed and rolled her eyes.

After a half an hour, the King finally arrived and walked to the stage, then everyone paid their respect.
The King greeted every contestants. From mortals to mermaids. Lycans and vampires. Sorcerers and Witches. He didn't forget any kin and made sure everyone was welcomed.
Such a wise King indeed🤴👌🏼.
Then he started announcing the rules. And everything we needed to know in the game.
The game will be held in the forest. 😮🌳🌳🌳
The black forest precisely👿. And the game will consists of random and dangerous missions😱.
So if we fail, it might cost us our lives😨.
The King said that the forest will be sealed and no one will be able to get out until the golden key is found🔑.
In the game, there will be a lot of prepared obstacles for all of us. And we should be prepared and alert as well.
And lastly, whoever's friend to the person who will find the key will have an advantage. The person who will find the key can decide what position the person can give to his or her friends.

The person won the game by own tactics and strategy. Why should the others share advantage?
"Woah! That's good news!" Ayane exclaimed while clapping her hands with glee.
"Even if we can't find the key, if we're friends with the winner, then it's no different from winning!" She said enthusiastically while vehemently shaking my precious body.
"Tch! You think as if you're not an elf sister! We're elves and we are here to find the key! You shouldn't be thinking like a princess!" I said and she just ignored me.
The game will start tomorrow.

Today is the game's orientation.
And yesterday, a palace minister came to my place and summoned me to the palace. There were a lot of witches in there as well.
Earlier this morning, we were the first ones to arrive at the Great Square with the Prince for the vampires. And he told us that we are given an important task by the King.
Before he tells us what the task is, the guards inject us a black liquid. Then the Prince said, those were controlling potions made by the King himself.
I was surprised at first and immediately began thinking of an antidote. But they said it will only wore off once someone finds the key.
And so they finally told us our task.
We must make sure that no one will think we are a witch. So we must disguise as someone from a different kin.
Our job, is to sabotage everyone during the game.
We must do our best and corrupt all the contestants minds. The Prince said that they put a spell on the key. And no corrupted mind can touch it.
Some of the witches were worried. But the Prince assured us that once the key is taken by someone worthy, the people's minds we corrupted will turn back to what it used to be.
I think the game will be fun. Especially that no one among the contestants knows about this twist.
Basically, I can no longer have the chance to win. So I decided to disguise as a mortal.
