Chapter 6
I wish you say 'Yes.'
Tyler looks straight into Lily's eyes and he realises that this is not a simple joke and how serious this issue is.
"You know I always see you as my little sister."
"I know.", Lily crosses her arms and shrugs to relax her posture like this conversation is nothing important in her life.
Tyler feels suffocated for a while as he doesn't know what to do in this situation.
"What did my father tell you?", he hesitantly asks the root- cause. He has no doubt that this might only happen when his father got crazy ideas.
"My mother tells your father that we must bond together to strengthen the family line. You know that's sound crazy but they quickly agree on that."
Lily is still in relaxing manner but Tyler lets out a big sigh.
"You want to marry me?"
Tyler carefully utters those words.
"What do you think?"
Lily smiles and take a glass of water from the table. She seems cool but her throat might be dry from holding in too much.
"I want us to be as always been, in the future too. You know you are precious person to me, but not in that way."
Tyler closes his eyes for a moment and he heavily conveys his thoughts.
"I know.", Lily chuckles.
"I am not here to force you, Tyler. I am here to sort out this problem to make both of us get out alive from this mess. Don't act like you are about to die dude. Now you hurt my feelings."
Lily talks as she is testing and teasing her brother. She is not caring about what the outcome might be like she have guessed a long time ago.
"I am sorry."
Tyler looks up at Lily who is about to leave the table.
"Don't apologise. I'm tired and let me sleep first. Let's talk again tomorrow."
Lily walks away smiling and she even shouts 'Goodnight' without looking back or waiting for Tyler's reply.
Tyler sighs and sit still longer before he also leaves for his bedroom.

Lily leans on the wall with her back, but her legs weaken and slides down till she sit on the floor. She always thought that she might be the only one for Tyler and that they are compatible with each other. She has known every little details of him and she is the comfort zone for him. But she knew that he never has romantic attachment for her.
Although she has been aware of the answer yet when she sees the result by herself, it is difficult to take in. She thought he might accept this matter like he accepted the successor position. But now all in vain.
She wipes the tears rolled down on her cheeks and smiles mysteriously. She is so excited for how things might turn out to be later. For now she has to be away from him for a while.

Amelia feels the cold water running down from her hair to toes. She washes hair with extra fragrant shampoo as Isabelle told her that her hairs still stink. She is aware of her warning. But she feels nothing offensive as both of them have tacit understanding to each other.
She comes out of the bathroom and does her hair blown dry. She checks the phone and sees some messages. She still has no idea how to handle Tyler on her side. But he invites her on his own so this might be a great chance for her. Since the day after tomorrow is the day off for her. She should make a visit and let her plan proceed. She just wishes nothing happen from Zan's side tomorrow.
Two days have passed peacefully. Nothing is happening as if the silence is there before a storm. When the time comes, she makes her visit to the company. She looks up the tall building in front of her. She breathe in cold air and let her calm down. She walks in to the building. To her surprise, the welcome counter has got her name and the security shows her way. This is the dan of Red Python. This looks simple like a corporation group but it holds the largest luxurious resorts and hospitality business, strongly supported by the gang.
"Please wait here a moment."
A well – dressed lady in good figure smiles and let the guest wait in the waiting room before the Vice President office. She simply makes an internal call to Tyler to let her in.
"Mr. Tyler, the guest has arrived."
Amelia only sees her answer 'Yes', even her head nods along with her reply although he might not see her manners. Her work behaviour is superb which is indeed someone who holds the title of Vice's assistant.
When Amelia enters the room, Brett is there. He is sitting at the guest sofa while Tyler is sitting at the working chair.
Amelia nods her head and says her greetings although Tyler does not raise his head from looking at the documents to give her a glance. Brett turns his head to check Tyler's reaction and he also sees what Amelia sees so he coughs a little to break the silence then gestures her to come and sit across from him.
When Amelia sits down, Tyler also stands up from his seat and walks towards them, sit at the top sofa .
"Hello, Ms. Amelia. I won't take long for this meeting and let me get it straight."
Tyler pauses a little to check her movements but Amelia is quite calm to his surprise so he smirks inwardly and continues.
"As I saved you and you asked me how to repay kindness. So I have a task for you. Can you report me back on the movement of Amorpho's people?"
Amelia has always been lowering her head like it is her habit, now she has to raise her head to look at Tyler's face. His face seems indifferent although his mood seems amusing, when she peeks a glance at Brett's expression, he seems a bit uncomfortable. She wonders how they can ask her that openly.
"Do I have an option?"
Amelia softly utters the words as she has to be careful when dealing with them.
Tyler chuckles a little,
"What if, I wish you say 'Yes' on my request."
Amelia really cannot understand his behaviour. He looks so comfortable with talking to her unlike the rumours she heard. Even Brett looks like he is not used to Tyler's actions. Amelia is aware that they both have dug her profile and her past to openly give a task like that.
"What if I say my repay outweigh your kindness. This is too much for a simple girl like me."
Tyler nods his head a few times to show his attitude like he couldn't agree more.
He turns to look at Brett and signals him to proceed what they have planned. Brett sighs a little and brings out the document in front of her.
It is a simple agreement, assuring her safety and cash amount that she needs urgently. She feels a bit surprised but this is not something that is not expected. They will know her situation if they do background check on her. Also giving this task means they know she is in the spa team who are in charge of Zandaz.
She quietly skims through the document under the observant eyes of the two men in front of her. Her manners are quite satisfactory in the eyes of Tyler. He feels the calmness and stable reaction from Amelia.
"Yes, I will do."
Brett's eyebrows raise, meanwhile Tyler seems pleased with her answer.
Brett places a pen in front of her to sign the document. Amelia signs and give back to Brett but she somehow senses the fierce gaze from Tyler as she glance at him as reflex, unintentionally. Everyone might say his face is as indifferent as usual but Amelia feels like he is smiling with tinted smirks.
When Tyler sees her looking at him, he aloofly says,
"Why aren't you asking anything? Like why I give a task like this or why I choose you. You are too calm for yourself to claim as a simple girl."
Amelia recognises the intention of why he is saying like that. This is simple test from him. Surely she has to pass and move on.
"I am sure you have checked my background and know my situation. That's why you give this task in the means of repaying kindness."
Brett looks at her like watching a horror movie as her tone and action are quite dare to deal with them with stability. When he had to do what Tyler asked, he feels rather stressed by his sudden change and also because of a strange girl who is like an introvert dull one. He consider it is mysterious to get to know her. However, at this very moment he feels like she is not a normal girl but he becomes to know why Tyler seems interested in her aura.
After Amelia walks out of the room, room is still silent without no one uttering the words.
Tyler checks Brett's expression and sighs a little.
"Why you look so worried? It is not even a big deal. She just reports trivial things back to you. Why? You don't want to talk to her?"
Brett shakes his head.
"If I say I don't want to contact her. You might call her directly, right?"
Tyler gets up from his place and fix his tie to walk back to his working table. He frowns and asks him;
"Why do you think like that? You are thinking too much. Right now what you should do is investigate what my father and Lily's mother are up to."
Brett is now really scared by the mention of President in the conversation.
"Why?"
Tyler nonchalantly replies while picking up the files and re-engage in his prior work,
"To avoid marriage."
