I woke up groggily and found myself in a dark area. I would've described my surroundings as pitch black if not for the waterfall gushing a few feet beside me. Said waterfall was glowing, it seemed to come from nowhere, seeing as when I looked up, the source of the water was in the air. It was quite fascinating.
I attempted to peer in, hoping the brightness wouldn't too much for my poor eyes. What I saw was quite peculiar. I wore pure white robes. Something similar to what you'd see in Greek mythology. I was impressed at how much it made me look divine.
I then looked closer into the waterfall itself. It was extremely enchanting. It was like a water hologram, except there was no projector. It worked like magic. Is it magic? Where have I been brought to? Did the ritual work?
I look to where I pricked my finger. There's no wound. I look towards my left leg. There were no scars either. Strange, that bike scar I had was always there. The scars of when I used to trip weren't there either. It's as if I've become a new person. But that's not possible. I have the same face, body type and height. It's just as if all my scars have been healed.
The waterfall became even brighter, which I didn't know was possible, and showed a scenery that captivated me. It was a medieval setting, just as I hoped. This means the ritual succeeded!
I saw many common folk, seemingly happy with their work. I smile at this. I came closer to touch the waterfall. The water I step it wasn't cold, rather, it was quite warm. The hologram seemed to react to my touch. It showed me a different part of the area.
It showed a big castle with guards surrounding it. it was quite grandiose. It must be a noble's home. I wanted to see inside, so I touched the waterfall again. It showed me a very.. furnished bedroom. It was very large for my modern self's liking.
It had the size of at least 400sq.ft. . That's how large it is. It had a very calm green theme though, so it's quite pleasant to the eyes. There sat in the bed, a little girl, around the age of 10. She had long, dark brunette hair-- which was rather close to dark red, and parted down the middle. Eyes in gray, if I didn't know better, I'd say she's blind. Her facial expression seemingly of a teenager, making her quite mature.
'What is her name?' I asked myself. It seems that the waterfall heard my thoughts and showed a modern pop-up screen, which I didn't know was possible. It was like a very realistic game screen. It showed her name, and my eyes widened.
She's the character I prompted and created. Darlene Fatedfall. The character I shall follow to gain inspiration. I shall enjoy every second and get everything I can then.
