Chapter 12 - CHAPTER ELEVEN...

After our argument Cora seemed satisfied with glaring at me anytime we crossed parts. Well I didn't mind so long as she stayed away from me.

I had gotten closer to Jo and Gracie these past few days and they had helped get my mind off Vladimir, who if possible had become more closed off after walking away from the dining table the other day.

Sitting on my bed I picked up my phone from the nightstand and was about calling my parents when I heard a knock on my door.

Who could it possibly be surely not Jo or Gracie. We had gotten close enough that they entered my room without knocking and I didn't mind.

"Who is it, come in its open". I hadn't been paying much attention or I probably would have caught his scent.

Vladimir opened the door and I couldn't express how shocked I was. What was he doing here? It was beyond weird for him to come to my room, I wasn't even sure if he knew where it was, but who was I kidding he is the Alpha and this was basically his house. Or it could be that he had to know where I was staying so he could avoid me. Hmmm.... that had to be it.

"I came to tell you that my parents invited us for dinner tonight to meet you so be ready at seven" he didn't wait for my response before leaving. Classic Vladimir.

I wasn't bothered by the way he acted because the only thing that registered in my head was that I was meeting his parents tonight.

Tonight!

I had been nervous about this day since Jo told me that their parents were eager to meet me, and the asshole didn't bother to tell me earlier and now it was three which means I only had like three and a half hours to get ready. I needed help ASAP.

I quickly grabbed my phone from where I had dropped it when he came in, to call Jo when it suddenly dawned on me that she must have known about the dinner with her parents, so why didn't she tell me on time. Oh I was going to kill someone today.

"Come to my room now". Why didn't she tell me? It seemed she wasn't far away because my door opened two minutes later. From the way she entered my room I knew she knew why I called her.

"Don't be mad Gigi. I'm sorry I didn't tell you that they invited us for dinner". She said.

"And how long have you known". I said passively.

"Since Monday" she whispered.

"Monday! why didn't you tell me, today is Friday, you know how much I'm nervous about meeting your parents". I groaned and sat on my bed placing my face in my palms.

"This is exactly why I didn't tell you, I knew you'd obsess over it. Look, when our parents had called to invite us for dinner on Friday, he had told me to inform you but I refused because he should be the one to tell you things like this not me. So I had told him to tell you because I wasn't. I didn't know he would take this long I'm sorry okay".

It wasn't her fault it was his. "Don't worry about it, you'll just have to help me get ready".

"Of course I will. But I've told you before you have nothing to be nervous about. My parents will love you okay". I nodded hoping she was right.

****

I was just putting on my ear ring when there was a knock on my door. I already knew it was Vladimir I could smell him. So I told him to come in.

I finally got it on and turned only to find him staring at me. He looked breathtaking. Tonight was the first time I had seen him wear something other than a suit even at dinner the other day he had been putting on a suit I guessed he had a meeting after. His plain white shirt was snug on his body and his black slacks outlined his amazing legs. And those eyes, that jaw, that cheekbone. Kill me now.

Gorgeous.

I shook my head trying to wipe the dazed look off my face "Well I'm ready shall we" I said shyly, breaking the silence since he was busy staring at me.

I was pretty sure my cheeks were as red as a tomato, why I was even blushing I didn't know.

"Let's go its time". I nodded and walked out of my room with him.

We soon left the pack house and drove to his parents' house. The ride there was quiet like I had expected, I was glad that the ride was just for fifteen minutes.

We soon parked in front of a modest looking house. I had thought that his parents' house would be huge considering the size of the pack house but it was a really nice small house I guess since it was only the both of them and sometimes Jo they didn't see the need for a big house.

I had been staring at the house so I didn't notice that Vladimir had come out of the car till I heard him call out my name.

I didn't even know he knew my name.

I quickly came out of the car and went to stand beside him.

"Isn't Jo coming" I couldn't help but ask considering the fact that her car wasn't in the drive way and she had told me she would be coming.

"She said she would be here but she would be late". I nodded and followed him to the door.

He opened the door and walked in with me closely behind him.

"Mum Dad, we're here" Vladimir called out.

"In the kitchen Son". A voice called out from where I assumed was the kitchen.

"Let's go". He motioned for me to follow him and I nodded. This was the longest we've been in each other's presence and I was nervous. Sweaty palms nervous and I knew not all of the reason was because I was meeting his parents.

Immediately we reached the kitchen I was met with two people whose combined features made Vladimir and Jo.

His mum quickly washed her hands and wiping it on a towel walked towards me. She had the same deep green eyes that Vladimir and Jo had but she was blond.

"She's so beautiful Colin" she smiled at me then hugged me before moving back to her husband's side.

"I'm Mary and this is my husband Colin we are this big Guy's parents". I laughed.

Vladimir and Jo got their dark hair from their dad. I moved forward to shake Colin out stretched hand.

"So nice to meet you". Looking around I wondered where Jo might be, she was supposed to have been here by now. I didn't have to wonder for long because a familiar loud voice called out from the living room.

"Sorry guys that I'm late, I was just so busy with some stuff that I didn't know that it was already time for dinner". She said coming towards the kitchen.

"So are we eating or what I'm very hungry and we all don't want to see a hungry Jo ". She said and everyone laughed including Vladimir. It was nice seeing him doing something apart from scowling.

"Okay V take Gianna to the dining table while we bring out the food. I hope you like Alfredo pasta it's my special recipe". She said smiling lovingly at me.

"I love it in fact it's one of my favorite. I can totally help you out". I offered

"No sweetie it's alright we've got it ". She protested.

"No I insist Mrs. Pierce ". I said still holding on to her hands

"No darling call me Mary; Mrs. Pierce makes me feel old". I smiled

"And if you insist ". She looked towards Vladimir and his dad. " I'm sure you both have some pack business to discuss go do that while we finish up here". They both nodded and left to the living room.

Dinner was really nice I couldn't believe I was nervous about meeting Mary and Colin, they were so care free and easy going. Even Vladimir was a different person around them. It was really nice seeing Vladimir smiling and laughing. He looked ten times more gorgeous when he was smiling. Anytime he smiled I get weak in the knees. Come on Gianna get yourself together.

After dinner, I helped clear the table and insisted on doing the dishes with Jo. We had all talked for a while before Vladimir decided we had to leave seeing as he had an early meeting tomorrow. The ride back to the pack house had been quiet but nice, I was really glad that dinner had gone well.

Immediately we arrived at the house he quickly left and headed to his room I guess he was back to ignoring me and being grumpy. Oh well I didn't want anything to spoil the good mood I was in right now so I went up to my room and after showering and brushing my teeth I got ready for bed and immediately my head hit the pillow I was far gone into a world filled with smiling Vladimir.
