Noah opened his eyes to be greeted by a weird scene. His body seemed to be in the sky as he gazed down at a happy trio.
The two standing side by side were an adult couple. The man possessed black hair and hazel colored eyes with average features you could find anywhere on the streets. The woman, on the other hand, was actually quite beautiful, possessing silky black hair and bright blue eyes. Her features were simply heaven-defying, any normal man would immediately drop to their feet seeing this beauty. This kind of woman could only be a noble.
Yet Noah could see that this two, the man who was most definitely a commoner and a noble woman, were together as married couples.
The reason was because of the three years old girl that was playing about in the field before them, trying her best to catch a small bird sized Phoenix. Looking at her face, it was easy to see that the child had taken her features from her mother. The cuteness emitted from her face could cause any father to fly over the moon with joy of having such a child.
'This reminds me of those movies that always had to do with running away from home with a lover and all that shit.' Noah simply cast an apathetic gaze at all this. He could recognize at a single glance, that the little girl was Alyssa. This solved the question of why she could be so talented as a commoner. He was still confused about how he got here, because all these were clearly her memories.
The scenes around him moved very fast, as if he were watching a movie in the fast forward mode. This meant that all this parts of Alyssa's life were quite plain and easily forgotten. The 'movie' would only return to a normal speed at some moments like when her dad would make a funny mistake or they treated her out to something delicious.
This happened for a while before it finally resumed it's normal speed again.
The young Alyssa glanced at her parents who revealed very serious yet hopeless expressions on their faces.
The beautiful mother, Elaine, sighed as she glanced north. "I can feel them wantonly releasing their auras as they approach us."
Marcus, Alyssa's father, held his wife's hand as he spoke. "My love, you shouldn't care about me. Take our daughter and escape, with your strength it should be possible to do that."
Elaine's eyes softened, looking at her husband with an expression of love. "It's impossible, they probably have people surrounding this entire area. Although I would be to escape, fighting any of them would be the death of our daughter. I have a much better plan." Her World ring exuded Essence as a small cube shaped object appeared in her hand. "This was something my Master gave me when I was younger. It has the ability to teleport a person a kilometer away, with the additional ability to hide said person for the next 2 hours."
"Mommy is something wrong?" The cute and young Alyssa tugged at her mother's pants while asking as she perceived the worried expressions on her parents.
Elaine and Marcus both had a loving and doting smile as they crouched to hug their daughter together. The father gave a warm smile as he comforted his daughter. "Don't worry sweetie, it'll be fine."
The beautiful woman placed the cube like objects in Alyssa's hands. "We'll just be leaving for a while. You don't worry about anything."
The young Alyssa's eyes started watering as she faced her parents. "But I don't want you guys to leave!"
Marcus smiled. "We won't be gone for long honey. Remember that we'll always be with you. I believe my strong girl can handle a few days without us, right?"
Alyssa wiped her teary eyes and nodded slightly. "Hmm."
"Good girl." He chuckled and ruffled her hair. Essence left his hands and was inputted into the device. Immediately, a dark silver colored Essence was released as it slowly covered the young girl's body. Seeing this, he then turned to face his wife and pressed his lips against hers, exchanging a passionate kiss.
"You - " Anger flashed within Elaine but could barely hold out as love and sadness flooded her soul in the next second. She had originally planned to act like Marcus was a low leveled slave instead of someone important to her, with this there would be a chance that he would be left alive, albeit a very little one. But she was hoping to gamble on it.
But now, his presence was mixed with hers. It would be easy for her to remove it from herself but not from him.
Conviction appeared on the average looking man's face. "If I were to die, I would die with my wife, not as a dog like being at the side." He glanced at Alyssa, whose figure was almost fully covered by the dark silver Essence. "Be strong my love. We'll always be watching you."
"Mommy! Daddy!" Alyssa shouted in panic as she heard their words, feeling that she might never see her wonderful parents again. She tried to leave the confines of the device but unfortunately, it had already covered every part of her body.
Then a resounding explosion rang out in the atmosphere.

Noah's eyes flickered as he woke up. He immediately noticed his surroundings, confirming that he was still in the large throne room.
"Ugh." Alyssa groaned as she also sat up. Her eyes trembled a bit as a moment of confusion engulfed her but then she quickly regained full consciousness. Her eyes glanced around and met with Noah's.
His eyes grew cold as he noticed the hint of pity within hers. "What did you see?" It was obvious to him that she had also been able to glean at some of his memories, although he couldn't understand the reason.
"The memories stopped at the time you got into the camp." She spoke as her body shivered a bit, remembering the things she had witnessed Noah perform even before entering the Martial Arts camp.
Noah nodded as he was still okay with this, he was not surprised at her lack of reaction to the fact that he was a transmigrator as he had learnt that such things happened from time to time. Plus she was low leveled and knew none of the miracles of such a feat.
He assumed she wasn't lying to him as he also hadn't seen much, her memories stopping at the separation from her parents. But he had forgotten something! The amount of Soul power Alyssa had lost in that soul battle was about a tenth of what he lost!
