Chapter 28 - Believing in their own strength.

*Bzzzz*

Kyle's phone rang.

"Who thought of calling at this time?"

Taking the phone out of his pocket, Kyle sees the name.

Detective Harris.

Lifting the tube , the red - haired man heard:

— Kyle your mother!I told everyone that something terrible is being prepared! Why didn't you do anything.— The detective shouted into the phone.

— Harris.Kyle said without emotion in his voice.— I have enough problems as it is.

— Kyle, there must be an amplifier among them.He has pink eyes.

— Got it.Kyle replied with a frown."Is there anything else?"

— I was with him, who looked like a fighter.…

"He's dead.

- what?Harris asked, puzzled.

— We saw Doom kill him with one powerful blow.

— I thought that students wouldn't kill someone like him…

— Times are changing.— Kyle said gloomily. - Thank you for telling me important information.I'll go, they'll open the passage soon.

- OK.

Kyle hung up and walked over to Nero.

— How long is it left to wait?

— About three minutes.Nero replied, hacking into the security system.

"Who is this mechanic? How could he hack into the USP systems, and also make such protection?"

Cold sweat trickled down Nero's neck.

-I'm going to the Vanguard," Kyle was saying.

— I think you will go to the vanguard alone, sir.—Said a blonde girl with eyes as blue as the sky.—All super heroes and rescuers are evacuating citizens.

After being silent for a while, Ei looks into Kyle's eyes.

— Can you handle it?"What is it?" she asks.

— Yes, — Kyle nodded. -we just need to eliminate the amplifier with pink eyes.

***

— There you are.-Donte said, looking at Orion.

The guys, seeing the hostile sverha, tensed up.

— Chris.-Orion said.

Trembling hands were pointed at Orion, sending him a purple haze.

— It won't help you.

From the ground on which Donte stood, cracks went in all directions.

The ground trembled with every step.

Jumping sharply in the direction of Orion, Donte swings.

Orion concentrates his power in his fist and hits back.

The two fists collided.

*Baaah!*

The flow of wind was like a storm demolishing everything in its path.

The ground cracked from their collision.

An unknown pain shot through Orion's arm.

Gritting his teeth, he endured.

The shock wave separated them.

Donte silently assessed Orion.

— Run.— The guy said.— I'll detain him.

The guys, hearing Orion's words, came out of their stupor and rushed to run.

Donte just smiled.

— Did I give you permission?-A devilish smile blossomed on his face.

* Boom!*

The weight of all people seemed to have increased tenfold.

Many of them fell and were unable to get up.

Their bodies ached because of the increased gravity.

Cold sweat trickled down Orion's neck.

He could barely stand on his feet.

*Tudum tudum!*

The heart was beating like crazy, pumping all the guy's blood.

"If I change the hydra's power, then I will be nailed to the ground like the others. What should I do?"

Every cell of Orion began to adapt to the situation.

The feeling of heaviness subsided.

"How?"

The guy was perplexed.

Looking at his hands covered with scales, the guy began to guess what had happened.

Meanwhile, Donte was calmly walking towards Orion.

— Can't you move?Does the body feel like it's filled with lead?

Donte came close to the guy.

Looking into his vertical pupil, he notices only a slight anxiety.

— Do you think you will be saved?— He took Orion Donte by the collar.— By the time they arrive, you will all be crushed under your weight.

Moving away from the guy for a step, Donte is looking for a Devourer.

Finding the device, Donte raises his head.

And he sees only a fist.

* Booooom!*

The air roared, and the pressure that the guys experienced disappeared.

Donte flew back a few meters.

Dust kicked up where he fell.

"How!?He's only in his second year! What kind of monsters is Atlant raising!?"

Donte realized that it was impossible to relax.

Their age is not important.

Their strength can be phenomenal.

Forces that defy the laws of physics.

Getting up from the ground, Donte makes a sharp leap forward.

Its speed was higher than that of the fastest cars.

From the force of friction, fiery traces remained where he stepped.

The air shot forward deafening Orion.

Having reached the guy, Donte hits with all his might in the stomach.

A silent scream escaped from the guy's mouth.

Orion flew back a few dozen meters.

The scales on his body were burning from the friction.

* Baaah!*

The guy's body crashed into the wall of the building forming a large dent.

Orion's eyes were clouded.

All the bones were broken.

Breathing is difficult.

— Kha…

He was spitting out blood from an internal wound.

Looking up, Orion saw Donte, who was killing students.

Cries of despair echoed in the neighborhood.

The screams that were heard for tens of meters began to become quieter, until they did not sleep at all.

The guy passed out looking at the massacre in the distance.

—N-no...- his lips moved.

Darkness enveloped consciousness.

***

Opening his eyes, Orion sees only impenetrable darkness.

"Where am I?"

He asked himself a question.

Looking around the area around him, he sees nothing.

There is no light in this place.

But there is a support that you can stand on.

The wet earth was under his feet.

The water also enveloped him up to his knees.

*Rumble!*

The ground trembled.

Orion looks around in search of the sound source and notices a pair of eyes.

Yellow electric arcs sparkled near them.

The darkness began to recede, showing more and more eyes.

There were so many of them that Orion gave up the idea of counting them all.

There were definitely more than nine pairs of eyes.

As soon as the darkness completely receded, the guy saw the heads.

Many heads attached with the help of giant necks to a huge body.

Fifty pairs of eyes looked at the guy.

"Hydra...?B-but she only had nine heads!"

— A man.— Said the oldest and most powerful Hydra head.— Why aren't you afraid of us?I don't feel any fear from you.

She asked, waiting for an answer.

-I... I don't know.

Orion said, looking at the central head.

-Then I'll ask you one more question.— The most ancient head has risen above all.

— Who are you?

— Maybe God?
