Klyde sipped the strong whiskey he had poured for himself as he stared at the moon outside. With the weather turning chilly, Klyde suddenly felt as if the world had turned dark too. The usually peaceful kingdom of Transmare was facing an attack from an unknown but powerful enemy.
Thankfully, his father agreed with him that this seemed to be more of an attack than a disease. But, he knew that it wouldn’t be long before Kaine would get the King on his side. He usually was able to make people see things his way.
As he had made the report, Klyde had wanted to warn father about the attack that had been made. A discovery that he had stumbled upon. But with no evidence, he could not point fingers, especially at those that belonged to his family.
However, he had the premonition that the struggles and obstacles that he was going to face going further in the investigation were going to be multiplied. Soon, he would be forced to use the most dangerous means to move forward.
