Day 4:
As I look out past my boat into the dark clouds I see an overwhelming amount of storm clouds. I can tell I might not make It home. I hear the thunder rolling towards me as if it's my heartbeat. My cat Marlo is pacing around me. I don't want him to die.
Day 5:
The waves are crashing around me. the walkie-talkie is still unresponsive, I have given up. I'm enjoying my last moments with Marlo, cuddled up under a blanket, I know he sees it coming. the waves are a beautiful sapphire color but as the beautiful sky turns into a deep grey as do the waves. the light breeze has turned into a constant push and pull.
Day 6:
Marlo and I held each other as waves crashed into our boat." the time has come" I thought to myself, we are going to die.
