I was really piled up with studies nowadays. It was really stressful too. Thank god I had Mr. James helping me. Mr. James was a teacher I had known since forever. He was in his 40s and was pretty tall. He looked cold however, he was my favorite teacher because he was so kind and understanding. He gave me really good advice too. He was like a father to me. Truth be told, I didn't have a father growing up. He left me and my mother when I was 5 years old. I vaguely remember his presence. Mother never really talked about him and I didn't bother asking because I thought it might be a sensitive topic for her. As I was walking by my classroom I saw something...unexpected. Jackson was there alone....crying??? Now usually if it was someone else I would understand but Jackson never crys. He hates showing emotions to people. I went up to him and gently tapped him on his shoulder. He looked up at me with eyes full of sadness, tears flowing like a waterfall. Before I could say anything he pulled me in a hug. "Wha- what are you doing?" I asked rather shocked. As I tried to move away he pulled me in tighter. "Just stay like this for a bit." He said with a heavy tone. I understood that sometimes people just want a comforting hug so I decided not to move. Honestly, it had been so long since I had felt him this close. It felt.....nice. After a while, he moved away. I wasn't going to ask him what was wrong. There was a reason he didn't say it himself. "Do you want to go get something to eat? I'll pay so get whatever you want" I said trying to cheer him up. He nodded like a puppy. As we were eating he asked "What happened that day? When you called me multiple times? Was something wrong?" I took a deep breath and explained everything. "It feels weird. Somehow that man....something seemed familiar about him." Jackson looked at me with a confused face. "Why do you say that?" he asked. "I don't know it just seemed as if I knew him. It's probably nothing" I said brushing it off.
*IN CLASS*
I liked sitting at the window seat. It gave me a view of the sky which was relaxing. This meant there was only one seat next to me. Sure enough, Jackson and Adrian were fighting over it. Jackson entered the class and spotted me. He smiled at me and was about to sit down when Adrian jumped in and sat on the seat. Adrian smirked at Jackson as he turned to me. "Get up. It's my seat" Jackson growled. "Sorry man, don't see your name on it," Adrian said with a fake tone. Before Jackson could punch him I told him to sit at the seat behind me. He looked annoyed but went ahead and sat down. "We are going to be doing an outside activity today" the teacher announced. "Everyone go pick out a flower from the garden. You will be researching it." the teacher said. "I walked in the garden trying to find a daisy since they were my favorite. Then I realized. These past few days whenever I said I wanted something Adrian and Jackson would go running to go get it. I smirked as an idea came to me. "Where are the daisies? I really wanted one," I said with a sad look. I guess I said the magic word because both of them went running. And sure enough, both of them returned with daisies. I smiled as I took the flowers. "Thank you!" I said with a warm smile. That won both of them over because suddenly they both blushed. I didn't know what was going on but I was enjoying this. I wasn't sure if they liked me. It couldn't be, right? I mean I get it this all is very sweet but I have had my share of guys leading me on. Do they like me or not?
