The next day
Lily felt an urge to visit the washroom a few minutes before lunch break.
She felt sleepy during Maths class and to stop herself from dozing off, drunk almost all of the medium size bottle water she brought at beverage shop on campus.
She really hated stepping out of class during lesson time or missing the tiniest content of lessons.
She sighed to herself as she run out of class but not before asking for permission from Mr. Stephen the History teacher, who of course granted her permission and even told her to take her time.
This teacher was her favourite among all the teachers because he was easy going and polite but for some unknown reason Maya didn't like him and again when had she ever found someone pleasing to the eyes.
The washroom was almost seven minutes away from General Arts block depending on the pace of the person.
Lily did a rough calculation and decided to use two minutes to jog there, two minutes in the washroom and another two back to class.
She couldn't understand why the Business and Science department had their washroom on the building whilst General arts, visual arts and agriculture department had theirs elsewhere.
Rose run off to who knows where and left all her notes for her copy and now she had to be careful or else she would land herself in trouble if hers were to log behind.
If the washroom was on the building, she could save her time to do another chore.
Lily thought further with her mind running wild, she got startled the moment she stepped out of the washroom making her hair stand on it end.
"Big sister, big sister" a certain someone popped out of nowhere, waving happily her.
"What!? " Lily answered with gritted teeth.
Why did she always appear like a ghost!? and what made it worst was that she couldn't even scold her or else this guy would pretend to be sick from being taught a lesson.
"I miss you" she said cutely, looking quite innocent and wronged.
Lily's eyelids twitched from being speechless 'brat continue to pretend' proceeded to walk away refusing to play along with her.
It was such a hot day already, with the sun so glaring that even her skin felt itchy from being pricked by countless imaginary needles but this fellow was... "why are you wearing a hoodie on such a hot day".
"cold of course" Maya replied causally with her hands in her pocket looking very cool.
Lily paused feeling a slight headache because of this sibling of hers and before she could continue, Maya jumped over to hug her shoulders out of habit while asking slyly.
"little miss are you worried about me?" feeling very pleased with herself.
Lily rolled her eyes feeling exhausted, she already felt drained by this guy who always focused on wrong things.
"of course I am" Lily breathed.
"Emotions strongly rejected, Thank you". Maya started mechanically sounding like a robot.
Lily almost pulled her hair out from being angry and tried to hit her but the latter had already slipped away and was munching on some cookies at the side.
That's when she realised that, they were far from class and where currently at the uncompleted building to the west of the school dormitory where they usually hanged out.
This building had 3 floors, 18 classrooms and 3 washrooms. 6 classrooms plus 1 washroom on each floor was an unfinished project of some senior who had graduated and wanted to do something for the school.
Some students chose this place as a hideout for skipping class or a place for eating and chatting during break.
Her well planned break was ruin by this fellow just like that.
She wanted to curse but paused before going to find fault with Maya not wanting to feel suffer alone.
Which was a wrong move destined to be defeated by an veteran opponent.
"I haven't asked why you got into a fight yesterday" Lily side eyed her as if daring her to lie but the reply she got made her almost fall over.
"Haven't I already answered you" Maya also side eyed her but with disdain.
She continued"I found the girl cute and decided to help beside that those boys were hurting my pretty eyes ".she pulled out her black lunch bag from the conner to eat.
Lily sat on wall with her arms crossed refusing to talk nonsense with her any longer.
Lily wanted to ask where she got the food but stopped herself knowing she would surely beat around the bush and anger her to death instead.
"Quick eat something" Lily paused, suspicious of Maya. This girl was quite generous today.
"What! you don't want to? " Maya eyed her coolly with and expression that said" don't eat then I call the others over to eat".
"Eat, of course eat" she hurriedly snatched the food over afraid the others would appear out of nowhere to steal her lunch.
The last was stingier than the first, anyway food was always important. She should just fill her stomach before finding out what this fella was planning.
The food was Spanish chicken , the rice was was soft and fragrant together with the crispy chicken the meal was very delicious.
"Maya, where did you buy the food?" Lily couldn't resist asking knowing she might not receive an answer.
She planned to order some tomorrow for lunch too.
" deer town, Rose restaurant" Maya replied which made Lily wonder again, why she was so easy going and generous today.
"Ivy have you seen sage and Iris? " Maya pulled out her phone to call Ivy.
"No, I haven't" Ivy sounded annoyed for an obvious reason like forgetting to wait for her yesterday.
"Have you eat then?"
"yeah"
"Oh, I bought lunch for you but since you have eaten..." before Maya could finish speaking Ivy had already hunged up.
Maya thought smugly 'little kid, it doesn't take much to deal with you'.
Lily "...".
This girl's smug look was quite evil no matter how she looked at it.
