Aurora couldn't believe how tired she was, she had spent the whole day washing used plates, pots, pans, platters - name it, all the utensils used in the kitchens. She knew that this was mistress Adela's way of punishing her ,because it was evidently clear that the goddess hated her at first sight.
She left the kitchen at a late hour. Wanting nothing more than to rest in her comfortable chamber, her heart sank when she came out of the kitchens to head to her chamber, only to realized that she had no clue as to the direction of the chamber again.
Was it left or right? She asked herself inwardly, pondering hard on it. But she couldn't quite figure it out. Axis Mundi castle was known for it's enormous size, inward and out.
When coming to the kitchens in the morning hours, it was usually a maidservant that led the way, and Aurora had never taken the thought to take notice on the ways. And curses- she left the castle map in her chamber.
