Aurora continued to bite her lower lip, as she watched the healer examine her papa. Since, her papa obviously can't be seen out of the house, Annika had suggested to the healer that she come to the house and examine him there. And the healer not caring about the vile things that the villagers said about Aurora and her papa, came. She was more interested in the money.
"It's alright." Annika assured Aurora, she nodded.
"Is he going to be fine?" Aurora asked the healer, who sighed before she said, "To be honest, lass. Your papa is in a critical condition, his dementia is slowly draining his whole body."
Aurora's heart sank, at what the healer has just said.
"Does that mean that he wouldn't live for long?" Annika asked.
"Well, I can't say for sure. But I can sustain him a little, but you have to bring him to my place, he can stay there until a find a cure, that is, if there is any." The healer said, packing her medicinal tools.
