REALMS OF MEN -
AZTLAN
YEAR 1268
"Papa!" Aurora cried as the dark clothed people dragged her and her papa outside. The rain was so heavy that the little girl could hardly hear her cries.
Icy sheets obscured her vision as she tried as much as possible to see the faces of the dark clothed people, but she couldn't.. The rain poured down heavily and as thunders struck the dark sky, the fifteen year old girl became more frightened than she was before.
"Make him kneel." the order came from a female - she was among the one dark clothed people. They obeyed the instruction, and dragged Aurora's papa on his knees.
The female came closer, and asked "Look around Carmen, is this how you want to end your useless self?"
Carmen looked up at the goddess with green eyes and answered, "I rather end up this way"
"Stop trying to act stubborn, Carmen. It suits you not" she informed. Carmen laughed quietly but said nothing.
"Where is it?" the goddess asked. But the mortal man kept silent.
"Where is the book!" she thundered.
"It's in a place where you wouldn't find it" Carmen said, only for the goddess to laugh.
"Oh, Carmen you have so much courage for a mere human"
"And I intend to keep it that way" Carmen said as he glanced at his daughter - his little Aurora, she must be really scared to her wits and Carmen was extremely worried, she was just too small to be experiencing the toxic presence of this cruel gods and goddesses. But Carmen has sworn never to reveal the book to them.
The book of Kalisees have been in existence centuries ago, in the possession of the messengers of the gods - and they has sworn never to reveal it to gods, for it holds great power that can undermine all things. And now the book has been passed down to Carmen - the current messenger of the gods. And he has sworn never to reveal it to the gods and goddesses of Axis Mundi.
"Your kind would never cast a glimpse on the book of Kalisees" Carmen spoke.
"We will see about that" she whispered as she gestured with her hands and immediately her fellowers pinned the mortal man on bare ground.
"No!" Aurora cried as she tried to force herself free from the dark clothed god that held her.
"Let my Papa be!" she cried out, constantly dragging her small hands but the strength of a fifteen year old human girl was nothing to be compared to the strength to a god.
She tried as much as she possibly can to see what they were doing to her Papa, but she couldn't.
"No!" she continued with her screams.
"Quiet her!" the green eyed goddess ordered. And suddenly Aurora felt a strong pair of hands cover her mouth.
The god that held her started to whisper some unfamiliar words into her ears. And slowly everything became blur, each drop of rain that fall on her skin felt painful.
And suddenly Aurora felt a sudden stab of pain in her chest - the pain was unbearable, excruciating... Withholding nothing she let out a loud scream of horror that could awaken the dead.
