Zander followed her to the room, it was dark expect for the glow of the moonlight that escaped through the windows and illuminated the exterior a bit.
Aurora gropped around in the near darkness in search for something, "Here it is," she muttered when she found a small piece of candle, which she lighted. She then picked a strap of cloth and wet it in the cool water at the side. Zander watched her as she moved around in the small space, where his presence made it appear more small and cramped.
His keen eyes never left her, as she placed the now wet cloth on her right cheek. He knew that she was still shaken by the incident, just thinking about it made him want to tear all those bastard limb from limb, who has dared to hurt his precious alkarite.
"Does it still hurt?" he asked softly.
"Nay, it doesn't. I'll be fine, don't worry," she forced a slight smile and furtively removed the wet cloth she has pressed to her cheek where she got hit.
