It has already been established that Zander and Kal we're both obsessed with board games especially chess though the other brothers find the game a bit confusing, boring and too strategic. Zander and Kal delight in challenging themselves.
"Checkmate," Zander informed.
Kal was stunned, his eyes observing the board, "You have to be cheating," he told him. Zander shrugged, "Am just that good."
"No, I demand a rematch," Kal said shuffling the chess pieces. Zander smiled, "You still won't win." Kal returned the smile, "We will see about that."
Suddenly the dashing smile left the Lord Impaler's face. "Is something wrong?" Kal asked
He looked at the Third prince, "Yes."
