Her friends later left when it was near mid night. After her bath she clothed herself in a night gown, but she wasn't feeling sleepy at all, she slept a lot today. And now she was wide awake. She looked inside her papa's room, it was empty and lonely -- just like how she was feeling. But she inhaled deeply and closed the door behind her.
She still stood in front of the door, her hand still on the door knob. Then, she heard a voice that caused a certain tug at her heart. She turned to the war god that was standing beside her. She didn't say anything, she was overwhelmed.
She let out a sigh of relief and instinctively went into his arms. Burying her face in his chest, she held onto him tightly.
Zander cuddled her dearly, lowering his face to the crook of her neck to inhale more of her intoxicating scent. He felt immense peace whenever he was with her like this, "Did you miss me as much as I did you?" he asked.
