He pushed past Rose and entered the house.
Gladys had woken up and was sitting on the living room chair when they entered.
"Adam! I gave you your information! Why come here"
"Wait Gladys what do you mean?"
"This scar on my arm, he did this with a piece of hot iron to force me to tell him where you lived"
"Adam I should have known that you would be behind this! You're such a demon!"
Adam slapped Rose when she said that.
She still got up and said.
"Gladys warned me not to mingle with you but I guess the Independence I had got to my head!! You're a psycho and a nutcase!!"
Little did she know that little Aubrey was awake and heard everything that was said.
She ran out crying before Adam could hit Rose again and Adam stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her.
Aubrey was beautiful, red hair, dark skin and blue eyes.
"Gladys grab her"
Before Gladys could move Adam had picked her up and sat her on his lap.
"What's your name darling?"
"I don't talk to strangers, Mommy says not to"
He got up and dragged both Gladys and Rose into the kitchen and tied them chairs using rope.
"Adam let go of my daughter!! Or I'll call the police!"
"She's still my daughter too"
"She's nothing like you!!"
"Don't overstep your boundaries Rose or I will kill her"
"What a father figure" Rose whispered as Adam got a call from Sam.
Aubrey sneaked away and took a knife to cut the ropes.
"I saw this in a movie once Mommy"
They were escaping, Rose and Aubrey jumped from the window but Adam grabbed Gladys.
"Don't test me Rose!!!!"
The scary part was he was holding a gun pointed straight at Gladys head.
