Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - Beethoven

Have you ever walked into a cafeteria and heard Beethoven's symphony 9 playing in the background? Because I have.

What a dramatic way to pour myself a cup of coffee and meet the Mr mysterious -man-who-made-the-chillest-person-in-the-room-question-her-own-name.

While I hold the lukewarm coffee in my hand and smell the distinct coffee aroma that I'm so very familiar with, I search for him but well, the cafeteria is surprisingly quiet like the 16 minutes and 9 seconds of Symphony 9.

As I head back to my cubicle with a cup of coffee in my right hand, chocolate bagel in my other hand and sense the sound of Symphony 9 gradually fade away, I hear a ridiculously deep voice suddenly catching me off guard. "Ciara, is it with a K or a C?"

I look back to see the figure, a peculiar yet beautiful human being with the broadest shoulder I've ever seen in my whole existence. I can already see the veins in his delts waiting to come out of his shirt.

"It's with a C.", I say as I barely manage to look at him in his ridiculously deep violet eyes. I'm talking about if two universes collide and create a brand new hybrid of the two, it's those eyes. I may have almost seen a few galaxies like stars inside those eyes as I stare deep into them, those stars like things, possibly moving around even.

"Is squinting necessary?", He speaks again, arching his dark brow.

I blush a little, comprehending the fact that I had been really staring into his eyes. Isn't that an upgrade - from barely being able to look him in the eye to straight-up staring deep into those violet rays.

"I just thought I saw something in your.."

"Yes, you saw stars and galaxies in my eyes. I get that line almost every day. Is it possible to be a little more creative?", He snaps back.

My jaw is literally open as I try to say something but only words such as "but " and a few other "but"s come to the surface.

"You're adorable though. So it's with a C. Shame, I was hoping it was a K". He snaps and then smiles back almost instantly. Just when I thought Misha's personality was enough, the universe throws another one at me.

Anyway, maybe it's the caffeine and I'm seeing things in him, in those damn eyes but I need to forget every word that's relevant to the galaxy, stars, and universe for now.

"You know you've really upset my friend, whose name happened to be Misha", I say hoping to change this eerie topic as soon as possible.

"Isn't her name strange?" He glances at me with those ridiculously sparkling eyes, the colour of lavender.

"Come on, I can't be the only one. Can I?" He says with a grin, his pupils dilating ; it's like I can almost see my reflection.

"No. I think it's weird too. But I love her so I hope you can tell her that it's a nice name or at least that it isn't weird."

"Fine. Strange how something so trivial can make someone bite their nails to the ground".

"Did you just make your own phrase? Bite their nails to the ground?"

"Yeah, why not?" He says, shrugging his massive shoulders off.

This boy sure is strange as one can possibly be. Strange. Mysterious. Large. What is he doing in Batt For Life, I wonder.

"By the way, what are you doing in Batt for Life?"

"I'd say I'm chillin' at the moment. Well, I'm going to leave you by yourself now. It's my shoulders, chest and arms day." Mr mysterious quickly heads out to the cafeteria but not before winking at me.

Is he working here part time? Strange, strange day, my cat talking dream to this holy smokes of a person. They say that the brain is wired to like someone they hate in a strange way, right? With him, I'm all confused.

Anyway, I hope he doesn't get me with his beautiful..everything. I don't even know where to begin. Speaking of the devil, I didn't even get his name.

Maybe tomorrow.
