Chapter 74 - Chapter 73 - Dream.

Akane's berserk instincts vanished as she felt the resistance of her legs to move under her command.

"In the end you were the one who fell for my trick," Kayurnn reduced the size of his claw, piercing it from her. His claw that would glistening even more under the moonlight had now been stained with the blood of his enemy. A small smile crept up his lips and he watched as Akane slowly fell to the floor, clutching her stomach and simultaneously glaring at him with pain spreading through each and every part of her body.

"At least, I achieved something…" She said in a low voice.

Kayurnn looked at her with pity but soon fell to his knees too.

"Did the flames not go out before she attacked?" he thought while releasing a low growl at the pain the burn in his feet could feel.

Earlier when Akane sent the flaming hands to pull him to the floor he sent all the powers in his body to the claws that instant, not waiting for flames heat to extinguish from his body and in doing that the heat had managed to tear his skin.

"Many more sects like yours will be cleared. You'll regret the day you massacred our people," Kayurnn said with tightened fists while Akane just smiled and uttered her last words "You can try but the desert is vast and enemies will continue to rise either from within or out,"

A lightning flash appeared in the sky as Akane breathed her last and the colour of the eyes of the staff she held became null and black.

Kayurnn looked up to the sky, puzzled by this phenomenon and a sigh passed his lips "Will this fate one day stop or will it continue for eternity?"

"What will be the fate of my tribe in all this?"

In the end he received no response to his questions so he stood up only to fall back down "Was the effect of those flames that dire?' he thought looking at the dune nearby to see moon warriors whom he signaled to help him.

At the close of the battle, only ten moon warriors were left, their comrades burnt to crisps while the enemy mages had all been killed.

Shawn felt a hinge of pain in his chest.

"Did I do too much damage with those laws of divinity just to limit the system's interference or did I do more harm to them?"

[You still haven't rolled your wheel of fortune point! ]

Hearing the system's words made Shawn's eyes widen

"Okay okay, roll the wheel then," he said.

The TV which he was using to watch the screen of the catkin people in the desert quickly changed into one of a wheel divided into segments with names and spinning to decide for him.

"Now that I think of it, I might possibly want to buy a new race, is this possible or…" he questioned himself, pondering about it for a while before giving up on the idea.

"Not yet the time though," he said before giving up the idea.

It was here that the wheel came to a stop in its spinning and hit a spot that had a +2 on it with an image of a humanoid, animal and an amoeba -like creature coloured black and having question marks.

[+2 free slots for newly made races,"]

Shawn's lips began twitching when he saw and heard that information. Clearly the system knew what he wanted to get yet it gave him that. "There were 100,000 CP points available yet you gave me that?"

[The Wheel of Fortune is authorized to spin and decide at random. I do not have a hand in how it gave you what you thought of. I can only tell you that you have to wait until the next time to spin another wheel]

"The audacity of you to do this to me," Shawn grumbled while looking at the screen.

"Change it back, I want to continue seeing the story of the CatKin race."

[Would you like me to summarize it for you?]

"That seems alright"

[By the rules which you gave me to follow concerning the laws of this world. The Monster races here have somehow managed to call on the power while unknowingly following the divine laws and have thus managed to create sects who can tap into the power held by those divinity laws thus having extraordinary skills and buffs compared to those with ordinary energy fueled users.

"I think that I might want to pick an overlord because if the CatKin people here are fighting and massacring, once external threats arrive it's possible for them to be wiped out,'

"I might also want to create rules that limits how higher beings of this realm interacts because if not, a lot of problems could arise,"

[Exactly Master Shawn, some races have even begun to contact each other after a thousand and five hundred years.]

Shawn placed his hand on his chin and started pondering about what to do.

"I could basically appear as a giant eye in the sky and tell them to stop fighting" he clicked his fingers as if he had reached a solution.

[,"..."]

"What?"

[Master Shawn, the races here will be stubborn and unwilling to listen to you even if you used force. Some have already been knee deep in belief in a deity for a thousand years and might not be willing to bend to an unknown one who appeared in the sky.]

"And I forgot that the laws were also involved in appearances so they won't be that surprised" Shawn rubbed his palm to cool off his annoyance.

"Plus who said that I'm a deity? I can't even imagine that…" he laughed nervously.

"What if I use one of their own then? Using an ordinary person might not have enough influence unless I use an highly respectable one,"

[Please remember that you will also have to follow the laws of this world unless you decide to change them,]

With a plan set in motion, Shawn decided to execute it quickly. However there was one thing that he needed to ask first.

"Tell me, has it passed the time of the fourth Moonlord?"

[Yes, the current time is of the ninth moonlord who only has one daughter who is also his only child]

"Since this is a time not anywhere on earth currently. I hope there's no hate against females for talking out?"

[Powerful females in CatKin clans have a huge weight of words when they speak, sometimes even more weight that the tribe leader]

"Well she better be powerful," he thought before a tab appeared in front of him.

"Time to use another power,"

As he scrolled through the list of powers in the tab, he couldn't help but note the increase in numbers for the nth time.

"That's why the system never contacted me for two days. It was updating a lot of things." As he continued to talk, he stumbled upon what he was looking for.

Indirect Communication - Be able to communicate with a creature while they are unconscious while appearing in the form you want them to see you as.

"Well, well, well." A small grin appeared on his lips.

At the oasis of Kayurnn's clan, categorized under the children of the moon. The cat people who lived in the oasis presently had shifted their focus from ordinary woolen tents to well defined houses having fabric walls held by well defined pillar blocks of sandstone holding them stretched and clamped.

The tribe had also shifted its housing and structure location to be distanced from the oasis by a bit, allowing the area near it to be used as farmland.

At the center of all this was a building taller than the rest taking the shape of an octagon with fabric walls clamped by stone pillars and stretching across them while being protected by catkin people holding spears and wearing white scarves to cover their heads.

It wasn't long till night time came and the weather had an adverse shift causing the guards to still remain in their scarves while being unaware of the happenings inside.

A young catkin female dressed in a nightgown made of silk while being covered by a fabric slept soundly on the floor mat unaware of what was going to happen to her within.

As she gently opened her eyes she found herself in a white space where no one was.

Suddenly the environment changed into that of a forest and it dazzled her. All of a sudden, she heard a strange voice speak from behind her "Little Sosra, how are you?"

Sosra turned to her back with a frown and threw a kick at the figure behind only for her kick to phase through his body

"That was close," Shawn said with a smile and his feline ears perked up.
