Chapter 63 - Chapter 63 - Tultul Warriors.

Flashes of lightning pierced the sky and made loud rumbling noises of thunder and in her invoking room, the Priestess who had been shaking her metal beam stopped.

From the eyes of the statues shone a deep blue light began to emerge and soon the enter room was shrouded in it.

By the time the light finally dimmed, the sky was finally cleared from the dark clouds that covered it.

In front of the Greykin priestess, the bowls of red blood had changed to an ash colored liquid.

"Thank you lord of the six phases," she said while kneeling on the floor.

Sometime after the entire incident, the priestess stood in front of two Greykins dressed, a male and a female.

The male was dressed in blue robes and the female was dressed in red.

They both had crowns that were wooden circles placed on their head with the centre having a blue diamond shaped ore.

All three of them sat on the rug made of animal fur and discussed.

"Chieftain and Chieftess, the sacrifices were a success,"

The chieftain who was in blue robes said "The Lord of the Six Phases has truly been generous to us for the past twenty years,"

The Priestess smiled "Truly indeed, we are worthy at such a time like this,"

"And because of that, we have to inform you of our desire to expand," he continued.

The eyes of the Priestess widened at his words.

"Expand!"

"Yes, the six greykin villages of our tribe have enjoyed the works of our labour with great harvest,"

"It'll be great to share this with others,"

The Priestess took a deep breath and asked "How do you want to share the works of the lord of the six phases?" She said,

"Head Priestess," the Chieftess called out her full position before explaining "At first we planned to send diplomats to the villages but only received threats of war,"

"In fact, we've had some raids from nearby tribes because of this and as sort we could only come to ask you,"

"To release the Tultul Warriors," The Chieftain finished her words.

The Head Priestess looked at them for a while and took a deep breath "As long as you follow the conditions and do not engage in murderous slaughters then I can dispatch the Tultul Warriors,"

"However, should you use them for murderous purposes, the wrath of Tultul will ruin our lands just like it did so during the time of your grandfather. Even till now the wounds of the Kaluk greykins are still being heard of till now,''

"Your worries are unfounded and your warnings will be adhered to,"

"Please take the small bowls that Lord Tiltul has blessed and distribute them to the other villages so that their lands will be blessed,"

"Yes," said the Chieftess.

"It was a pleasure to meet you in the holy village Head Priestess Tuli," said The Chieftain.

Not long after they had finished chatting, they placed their hands on their chest. A sign of pledging from the members of royalty.

It wasn't long before they all stood up and left the three sided hut where ten guards with wooden spears were stationed.

When they had left, Tuli called out her successor's name "Raa Mesihen!"

The flap of the hut was opened and Raa sprinted before her master before kneeling.

"You called," She said.

"Call the rest of the Tultul Warriors, it is time for them to move out again,"

An hour after the order was given, female grekins around a hundred in number stood outside the hut patiently waiting.

"I wonder how long it will take the head Priestess to come out of there,"

"Sometimes I wonder if all she does is rattle that beam,"

"If she just rattled beams, you wouldn't even be able to have the power you have now."

Raa who stood at the front of the entrance to the hut just looked at the greykins and said not a single word.

They were dressed in leather armor and had crowns of leaves on top of their heads while beads were worn on their wrists with their hands holding spears or sheaths.

At that point, the flap opened and Tuli dressed with the fur of a goat on her back appeared.

The murmurings became silent the moment her feet touched the earth. A small smirk appeared on her face as she addressed them "You all know why I summoned you here?"

The silence continued and she took the opportunity,

"You were born in the holy village and chosen to be warriors of the face pantheon deity's phase of anger and so you are chosen fighters during periods of conflict and wars.

But remember that while you may be blessed with the red marks on your arms, a loss of control of your emotions can lead to your death.

Many of you chose the life you wanted by yourselves, you walked into it for the glory, for the honour that comes with mastering a power from one of the six phases.

Only you all know how much training of not just physical strength but emotions you had to go through before you received the phase's blessings.

Now a time has come for you to mobilize and spread the blessings which you have enjoyed for years."

"I see that the face pantheon is not just a single person but a single person with six different forms with each being revered on its own," Shawn was bewildered by this fact.

"Even without making him a higher being, this face pantheon guy is already powerful enough that the faith generated towards him leads to bizarre things.

If he were a higher being, I have no idea how powerful he'd be. Hell, he might even intimidate the others,"

"Seems I might need to prepare a nerf point for this," he thought as he focused right back at the screen.

The scenery had changed to the hundred warriors marching out of the village to another where a large army of Greykins stood with spears having stone tips and bronze swords.

The Chieftain, now riding on a small white horse, looked at the one who for some reason had a golden crown of leaves lying on his head.

"Imitu, leader of the Warriors," he called out the name of the warrior.

Imitu lowered his head a bit as a sign of his respect but also the pride of his title.

"I can assure you, chief, that my generation will not let themselves be undermined because of your authority. The past cannot repeat itself,"

Though his tone of speaking sounded rude, the Chieftain made no complaints about it. After all, he too had also experienced the error of his grandfather's ways.

"We march to expand and in our march to expand, we spread!" The Chieftain raised his spear in the forward direction leading the warriors with him to the beginning of their conquest.

Shawn looked at the screen in disbelief "But these warriors just have wooden weapons, even their swords, what makes them so special?"

His confusion was cleared when he witnessed the first battle.

On a flat plain close to a mountain two greykin armies slowly marched before they came to a halt.

From the ranks of the enemy, a tall busty Greykin with a hefty looking greykin revealed himself and spoke in a loud voice that could be heard clearly by the opposing army.

"So the warriors of the Erosh tribe have decided to come out of hiding and face us in battle?

Well prepare yourselves for your inevitable loss!"

The sooner those words had been said another army of Greykins soon appeared from afar and joined his army ranks.

"The enemy numbers us at least 3 to 1, how are we going to do it Chief?" One of the Gios generals reported with a frown.

"Have faith in our warriors," was the response of the chief before a large horn was blown.

The hundred warriors had been placed at the forefront and led the charge with Imitu as the head of it.

Before both armies could engage in a clash with one another, the warriors of Tultul had arranged themselves in a triangle formation and were the first to be dispatched towards the enemy.

Imitu raised his spear up and shouted "Power of the Phases: Wrath!"

Lighting flashed from the sky and soon the beads on his hands changed from transparent brown to pure white and his golden leaf crown had turned pitch black.

The same occurred with the other warriors.

"It seems they are all connected with each other with those beads. It's the symbol of their group."

Sensing that something wrong was going on, the enemy leader ordered a large barrage of arrows to rain down upon them.

The hundred warriors raised their spears up, the stone tips now turned red as strange red shields hovered above their head causing the arrows to rebound and bounce off.

"Take them out!" The enemy leader released another as greykin warriors rushed to slaughter the Erosh tribe's trump card.
