Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 - End of Confiscation.

Though the timer hasn't been reached, I think that I should be leaving"

"System I want to log out?"

[Are you sure?]

"Yes," he replied curtly.

[Logging creator out of world in 3…2…1]

This time Shawn was prepared for the log out and his vision became blank.

It didn't take him long before he awoke from his sleep with his arms stretching as he released a loud yawn "That was some energetic sleep. It seems I didn't spend that long playing the game,"

But when he looked at the time he was incredibly shocked, he was two hours early from his sleeping time.

"I should probably use this moment to read some stuff that I've been taught," he dragged his feet from the bed and turned on the switch before pulling the bag beside his bed and then opening it.

His laptop consisted of the research work he had been doing on his assignments and some notes that he managed to jot down if he wasn't using the physical one.

He opened the bag again and brought out three large notebooks with the words "Education is Key" pasted at the front cover.

These notebooks consisted of the subjects he had for Friday.

One was English, the other was Science and the last one was History.

He felt energetic and he was hoping that this wave would last long. He skimmed through the words of the topics he had been taught and decided to check the outline before reading further.

He enjoyed only two out of the three and struggled with the third but still managed to get good grades.

"I'll use the weekend to study for the midterms. I have to write out all my plans for Ornio and Yorn before proceeding to prepare for them,"

"And since my mother will return my phone by then but if i'm not careful she'll take it back and make sure that I won't use it,"

"This is a chance of self improvement and for me to prove myself," he said in a determined tone and slowly began to flip through the pages.

When he was almost done, the sound of his alarm immediately disturbed his focus.

"Time to get ready for the last day of school in the week!" he roared before charging at the door.

As he approached the door the pain became stronger and he cried "Mum!"

For the few hours that he had spent in school, he felt nothing else but exhaustion the moment he returned back home with his siblings and dropped flat on his bed. "Finally it is finished," he then heaved a sigh of relief, happy that he was finally going to be able to spend the rest of the days at home.

"Time to deal with those assignments first," he opened his laptop and started browsing.

When he was finished he closed it and then closed all his notebooks. He had been playing some online adventure games on his laptop and when he checked the time it was already 17:00 and school had closed since 14:00.

"But it feels like I'm missing something," he said.

"Shouldn't you read first?"

It then hit him "Ahh. That's right"

He had no clue how long he had been with his notes when he heard a loud yell from downstairs "Dinner's ready,"

At the dining table, the entire family dined and not a sound was made. For some reason, it was quiet.

Emily looked at Shawn for a while before pulling out a phone and dropping it on the table.

Shawn's eyes widened when he saw the pouch.

He looked at his mum with a suspicious smile "My phone?"

"Yes sweetie. I've observed that your obsession with your devices has reduced and that nowadays you seem to be more focused and orderly.

Also, the time of its seizure is up"

Shawn felt the urge to scream and was about to stretch his hand to touch it but stopped himself.

"She's testing me, to know if I'm going to hold back until I'm done eating or immediately lounge at it."

He squinted his eyes at his meal and with a stone face he kept on eating making his mother Emily arch her eyebrow. "Usually, he is always quick to collect his phone once it's returned to him but now he seems to have improved,"

With a broad smile on her face she focused on her meal.

When the dinner was over, Shawn ran straight to his room until he was called back. Emily immediately handed him his handset and he thanked her before rushing back up.

When he had locked the door, he turned it on and was relieved to see that it was at full battery.

He wasn't that much of an online person though but he still went to check his messages.

Most of them were messages from the class group chat doing their usual nonsense and the rest were either from relatives or friends.

Within ten minutes, he responded to the ones he thought were necessary to respond to.

Then he exited and rushed to his games. To his surprise the game Creator Sim which he had downloaded two weeks ago was no longer there.

"Did my mum delete it?" he thought before shaking his head.

"Na, she didn't delete the other games so why would she delete it specifically,"

"The only person who can provide the answer I need is the system but I'm not strong enough to even receive a reply from it,"

Just to satisfy his curiosity he went into play store and searched for the game there. To his shock, the game wasn't on play store anymore.

"Well, it seems there are things that I just can't know yet,"

He looked at the ceiling "I just hope that it isn't some illuminati stuff because I'm too young for all this,"

For the rest of the night, he was awake playing on his phone before going to bed after doing some quick reading.

His eyes opened and he surveyed the world once again. "System show me the stats of Ornio"

Name of World - Ornio.

Age - 2,500 years

Sentient Races - 11

Number of Realms - 4

Population of Sentient Beings - 15,000,000

Population of Animals - 300,000,000

Number of Overseer's - 0

Number of Higher beings - 12

"2,500 years old. That's a really long time and that population boom is quite a lot from 400,000 while all I've been doing is eating and getting sick of eating imaginary popcorn," he thought.

[Imaginary popcorn that you eat is actually digested by your body in this game]

His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when he heard the system. "How is that even possible?"

[Game world body is attached to the host's real body. If the host does not eat. Body can be affected and so can health]

"Hold on, won't it give me digestion problems!"

He had the urge to facepalm himself, he didn't give it much of a thought because he was in a game but now that he was told that his health could be affected, he was starting to panic.

[Maintaining a diet is not necessary here]

"Pheww"

"But from now on don't serve me popcorn. Chicken wings will do. Is that clear?"

[Affirmed]

With a huge sigh of relief, he sat on the couch and decided that there were still two more races to watch "Greykins and Beast Continent. Let's see what interesting things your races have,"

The screen flashed, showing the scenery of the coastal lands of the north western continent.

A female with a mix of red and black hair stood beside the waters of the coast and drew water from it before placing it on her head and turning back to the mainland.

Her sparkly green eyes were mesmerizing and the coral beads on her neck were lovely to Shawn who had to give himself a quick knock on the head to wake up from his dazed state.

"She's grey skinned, are you kidding me!" he screamed at himself.

He was not expecting the system to reprimand him [Now you're just being racist]

Regardless of what he was thinking, the greykin was not aware of what she had done to him and in her own draping red robes held the wooden bucket with a stone carved interior on her head.

Soon she stopped at the base of a hill where a large number of buildings were. All made with a combination of wooden pillars held by stone edges and thatched roofs with plastered walls.

"Square huts with stone edges?" Shawn was weirded out at the building style but kept on watching.

Instead of the female stopping at one of the huts she continued walking until she reached a building that seemed to be a combination of orcish and island dwellers.

Horns made from carved stone stretched from the walls and instead of a wooden door, the entrance was wide open and only covered by a green cloth with a thatch roof on top.

The female dropped the bucket and slowly raised the fabric before entering it.

In front of her was a female greykin with red hair, holding a horn on one hand and holding a strange metal with beads strapped to it.

Her hands also had coral beads.

"Master, I have brought the water," She said, bringing the bucket into the three walled hut.

The master turned to her and with a crooked voice she said "Excellent Raa, now go prepare the sacrifice,"
