Chapter 50 - Good Deeds

"I don't regret it." Upon hearing the old policeman's slightly sarcastic words, Le Wan snorted.

The old policeman smirked and sneered. 

"Look at your face. It's written all over your face that you'll dare to do it again next time. Why don't I contact your parents and ask them to strengthen your crisis awareness?"

"I won't do it again. I promise I'll look for you the moment I encounter any trouble." 

If her family knew about this, they would hold her captive and nag at her for a long time. They might even send someone to keep an eye on her. Le Wan was not willing to suffer such a punishment.

"What next time?" 

When he heard from the nurse that there was a dispute in the hospital, Zhai Jing's heart skipped a beat when he realized that the little girl they described seemed very much like Le Wan. He hurriedly ran down the escape stairs. When he saw that Le Wan was still alive and kicking, he felt relieved. However, he heard her say "next time".
