"Please don't kill yourself Kendi because you decided to have sex with the CEO. Your decision is what made him who he is today. Your efforts ain't unsuccessful. Everything you did is for the good because your decision made his company yield more success today." Jessie announced and Kendra was astounded, flabbergasted and she was enlightened free from the excess burden, as no one has ever discussed or encouraged her from all the trauma she is facing.
"I don't know what to say, but it's good to have a friend like you." Kendi was speechless with so many butterflies in her heart while smiling, as she couldn't say a word but smiled, and they keep articulating.
"Don't worry. Your efforts won't be in vain." Jessie said.
"Yes, because I did everything within me to see him succeed. I even took care of his sick mother for good three weeks at the hospital just for him to meet up with their patronage." She said while tears were rolling down her eyes.
Kendra was happy looking after Richie's mom at the hospital. She never felt bad looking after her, she felt so pleased deciding to stay with his mom in the hospital. She never feels bored or lonely.
Nurse Elena is always in concern to make sure everything is fine with her, as she's always there to keep her vibrant, as they talk and waddle round the premises.
No one knows about her stay in the hospital with Richie's mom except her parent, not even her dancing crew.
'I missed my crew members. I can't wait to be back to my crew members. I hope mom gets better before my next show in Texas two weeks from now. Anyway, I believe she will get better soon. Her coughed wheezing is improving, and she feels lesser pains now.' She thought as she was desperate to unite with her family and crew members.
She was alone in the hospital bowing her head, thinking about her crew members while Richie's mom was asleep after taking her medications.
A few minutes later she heard a knock on the door. She was taking it to be Nurse Elena because she's the only one constantly coming to check on her, but when she opened the door, to her greatest surprise it was Amelia, her best friend.
"Oh my God! Amelia, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I know you're surprised to see me Kendi, but I had to come since you ain't picking up my calls," Amelia said with a smirked on her face and ran her eyes all over her body.
"Oh really," Kendi asked in distress.
"Yes, kendi. Since you saw me and Lucas jointly, you ain't picking up my calls or come to training. What do you expect? When my only friend ain't picking up my calls and jeopardize her dancing crews." Amelia sparked in a loud voice.
"Please be calm dear. But how did you find out I was here? And who directed you to this hospital?"
"Lucas told me everything, how you willingly volunteer yourself to stay with Richie's mom in the hospital for him to meet up with their customers. I was surprised cause you never told me. Am your friend remember?" Amelia lamented in her complaint.
'I wonder what she was thinking when she kissed Lucas romantically. She has never been close to Lucas before, it baffled me when she kissed him before my eyes.' Kendi thought to herself as she was surprised when Amelia kissed Lucas and caressed him.
"I know I should have told you, but I wasn't happy with you babe. I never knew you were having affairs with Lucas, I was surprised when you kissed romantically. 2days later I saw mom customers complaining bitterly about her sudden disappearance, not knowing she had been hospitalized. I had to come and stay with her so Richie can meet up with their customers and save their business because the business is going down, but believe me, am happy to see you honestly." She said and gave Amelia her most charming smile.
"Am ain't in any relationship with Lucas. We just have fun at the club. Nothing more."
"Please stop. Am happy to see you now. I never believe you could travel down to New Jersey in search of me. indeed you're my true friend." Kendi smiled and took Amelia's handbag and gave her a pleasant hug, and Richie's Mom was very happy to see Amelia beside her.
And Kendi was delighted to see her bestie in the hospital. Though she was surprised to see her, but she was happy with many butterflies in her heart.
"Nurse Elena is kind and friendly among all the nurses in the hospital," Amelia said after Kendi introduced her to nurse Elena.
"Yes, dear. Elena is different from other nurses, but there's something about her am yet to find out."
"Oh; you mean like?" Amelia asked.
"I don't know yet, but trust me I will find out soon."
"Oh, I admired her very much. I believe she's kind of superior to other nurses." Amelia acknowledge.
"Yes, I believe that too because they respect her so much, cause the ways other nurses present themselves before she is unquestionable but she's very intelligent in all dimensions."
"Perhaps, she comes from a rich home." Amelia retorted.
"Am happy you're here now. Together we'd find out her little secrets." Kendi said with plenty of smiles and she was happy.
Nurse Elena came to join them later in the evening, and they did have a good moment together. When it was time to sleep, nurse Elena took Amelia to sleep with her colleagues, where the others nurses slept.
Though she wanted to sleep together with them, but she was afraid not knowing what might happen to Richie's mom if she sleep with them and leave her all alone.
Amelia's stays make everything easier and difficult for Kendi in the hospital, as they talk and plan their show coming up in weeks.
