"Beep…. Beep…. Beep"
Rin woke up due to the beeping sound of the alarm. He looked at the clock on the other side of the wall and it is 7 am.
"Haa…."
Rin sighed…
"I guess it's not a good idea to play games until 3 am huh…"
He gets up from a bed after a few minutes of rolling and stretching. Then, Rin starts making his breakfast and lunch. His parents died when he was 5 and he barely remembered them. He doesn't feel lonely very much because he never knew what it was like to be with his parents, with family. He stays at the apartment left by his parents and the money given by the government for his loss. The accident that caused his parent's death was caused by a government experiment.
After finishing his breakfast, he makes his lunchbox and went to school. The city of Yangon is a busy one. As Rin walks out of his apartment, a yellow bus arrived at the bus stop. It was the one Rin is supposed to take to school. He run to the bus and as he got on the bus, there are a lot of people on the bus already and Rin sighed while he starts his boring daily routine.
It was lunch break at school and Rin was eating his lunch quietly on his desk and a hand grabbed him from behind and held him tightly.
"What's your lunch today?" the other person said.
"You can ask that normally man, you don't have to choke me from behind for that.." Rin said while trying to break out.
"Sorry, sorry... old habits die hard," He said.
His name was Jousha, he used to bully Rin during middle school and later became friends after Rin stood up against him. Jousha liked that Rin lived alone in a big apartment and sometimes came for sleepovers as no one at Rin's house could boss him around.
Although Jousha used to be a bully, he has changed now. He doesn't bully Rin anymore save from some pranks here and there. Jousha first thought Rin was a spoiled rich kid that doesn't care about others and bullied him but after finding out about Rin's parents, he stopped bullying Rin and later became friends with him. As Rin is usually the quiet type and doesn't speak much, he doesn't have a lot of friends and Jousha is the only friend he has at school.
"Come on, Jousha don't choke Rin while he is eating, what if something happened?" a female voice sound out from behind.
It was Lilly, Rin's girlfriend. "I don't want him to die you know" Lily said smiling.
"Hay Rin, can you lend me 30$? There is something I want and I just used up my allowance" lily said.
"Hay didn't he already gave you 50$ yesterday for your hairpin or something"
"Stay out of this Jousha, I am not talking to you. Please Rin please…"
Lily said.
"Sure, why not," Rin said and send her 30$ from his account.
"Bro, she is just using you. She doesn't love you or doesn't even have a little bit of affection. Why do you keep giving her the money?" Jousha said while looking annoyed. "I even saw her hanging out with other guys a few days back."
Rin didn't reply to Jousha, he knew... He knew Lily is just using him for the money but deep down he really does loved her so he was trying to ignore the warning Jousha gave. At that very moment,
Rumble Rumble......
A magic cycle appeared on the floor and white light shine out from the cycle. As the light shone more and more, the world went white and swallowed the whole school.
His vision gradually went black, He couldn't see anything.
When the light fades and his consciousness returned, Rin founded himself in a big room. He was standing in a big magic cycle in the middle of the room. His classmates look confused and while everyone was wondering what just happened, a powerful voice filled with dignity sounded out.
"Welcome heroes, from the world of Pandora"
