Caleb felt his father's excitement on his back and took him higher than he had ever went into the sky. Then slowly he began to glide in the sky. Cain outstretched his arms as he straddled Caleb's back and let the wind pass over his body as the looked at the moon light and began to howl. He smiled at the God's for taking care of Lera and his son and for giving him the opportunity to experience this miraculous moment. Caleb sensing his father's happiness continued soaring for several minutes before he signaled Cain to hold on as they descended from the clouds into the mountains. Cain was mesmerized with the way everything way beautiful from above looking down. She saw several beautiful flowers growing on the ledge of a mountain and tapped the back of Caleb's neck to get his attention.
Caleb understood Cain's actions when he pointed to the flowers and glided closely enough to it so that Cain was able to pluck out several. Minutes later, Cain saw the flickering light of a small fire and then he saw her and he was captivated by her beauty once again. Standing with her hair blowing in the wind, on the highest mountain, in front of the den was Lera.
When Caleb arrived over the den be began to softly flutter down and soon landed. Cain jumped off holding a bunch of flowers in his hands looking all dashing that caused Lera to get even wetter.
What took you guys so long? Lera said smiling seeing the broad grin on Cain's face.
Did you enjoy your ride my love? A small prize for you from my side of the witch's family! Lera teased.
Cain walked up to her and took one of the flowers and stuck it behind her ear!
The ride was sensational! Cain said and looked into her beautiful green eyes and saw a bright spark.
I hope you'll say the same when I allow you to ride me later my love! Lera whispered into his ear and Cain immediately began to get aroused.
Lera don't say those things to me in front of our son because after so many years without you I may end up taking you even if he's here. Cain whispered.
Cain watched when Caleb transformed back into a human form and began walking towards the cave.
He turned around as Caleb passed him and spoke,
Caleb where are you going? We have so much catching up to do! Thanks for the ride also. It was the most exhilarating experience I've ever had in my life! Cain declared to his son.
I'll be right back, I just need to check on something! Caleb said and smiled broadly knowing that he had something a lot more impressive than the ride he just received to show his father.
Where have you both been for all these years Lera? I've missed so much. Why didn't you come sooner and look for me? Cain asked softly as he turned back to her and hugged her around her waist.
Well when you pushed us into the water I lost Caleb but was found by my mother, Isabel, who helped me for years to develop my skills as a witch. Lera said remembering all the memories she had to endure to be as powerful as she was now.
You lost Caleb? Cain said astonished.
Yes I did because I became unconscious after hitting a huge rock and then several years ago, I was reunited with him and his family that had found him and brought him up. Lera said smiling.
Caleb grew up with a different family and not you? Where are they now? And with whose pack do they belong too? I saw him with dragons the last time! Cain asked curiously as he tried to comprehend what Lera was saying.
With his own off course! You know us Courtenay don't do normal, we like bringing extraordinary. Lera said and laughed.
Caleb your father wants to be introduced to your family! Lera shouted out towards the den.
Isabel came out first and approached them.
Cain let me introduce you to my mother, Isabel! Mother this is my Cain. The one I mentioned to you about! Lera said blushing as Cain nervously dropped his hands from around her waist
Isabel walked up to Cain and looked at him and then hugged him.
Nice to meet the one who holds my daughter's heart, Cain. I understand now where Caleb got his good looks from as you are indeed very handsome! Isabel said
Lera take note! And it is indeed a great honor to meet such a beautiful and powerful witch such as you Isabel! Lera are you sure this is your mother and not your sister? Cain said and smiled as he saw Isabel blush when he took a flower and presented it to her.
Whoever said flattery gets you nowhere have indeed not met you Cain. Already you have become one of my favorite wrrewolves! Isabel said and accepted the flower.
Lera rolled her eyes in disgust just listening to her mother and Cain.
Handsome and with a very smooth tongue! No wonder you love him so much Lera. Isabel said and smiled.
Cain was smiling brilliantly at the both women but then Dora walked out and Cain became afraid and stepped back. He remembered her fierceness from the attack which killed majority of the pack when they were searching for Caleb.
Do not be afraid. I am family! Dora said softly and Cain stopped moving and became awestruck.
This is Dora, unlike Caleb who uses magical powers, Dora is a real dragon Cain! She is the one that found Caleb as a baby and took him here and cared for him. Dora this is Cain, Caleb's father. Lera said and laughed as Cain looked at her with an open mouth.
Cain you can close your mouth. You're kind of embarrassing me! Please forgive him Dora, he doesn't come out much! Lera said jokingly as Dora chuckled.
Can I touch you Dora? I'd only heard stories but then I saw you several months aback when you attacked my father's pack, and even though you could have killed me I was amazed. Caleb said nervously as he began to walk around her admiring her beauty
Yes you may, Cain. Then you were indeed the one that Caleb told us that saw him transform. Thank you for not saying anything Cain as I believe that is what caused them not to continue to hunt Caleb. Dora said softly and Cain touched her neck, running his hands down to her back
You are magnificent Dora! I never thought there were more of you! You don't have to thank me as I should be the one thanking you for taking such good care of my son. Cain said admiringly as he placed a flower in front of her
Thank you Cain for the flower but there isn't many of us remaining! I've been here for decades and I haven't seen any more like us so I believe we are the last of our kind! Dora said sadly and accepted the flowers with her mouth and placed it to the side of her
We? There are more of you? How many more are there when you say the word "we" Dora? Cain asked incredulously
By me saying 'we' Cain I am referring to my daughter Fiona who you've met already. The one who attacked your pack firstly! Dora answered
Fiona can you come out and say hello to Caleb's father please? Dora called out.
Just as she spoke Fiona stepped out of the den with Caleb next to her and behind them was Drake and Luna.
This is my family father! Caleb said as he walked towards him with them and a big smile plastered across his face. Cain saw how proud his son stood with his family.
He cried long tears of happiness when he saw them. He bowed to Fiona and she lowered her head in acknowledgement. He then presented her with a flower and she smiled and took it with her mouth.
He then hugged Caleb tightly,
I am so proud of the person you have become Caleb. You have truly given us only joy for the short time you were in our life. I cannot believe you have made me a grandfather already to such beautiful whelps! Cain said as he turned to look at Caleb's kids
Thank you father! This is Drake and she is Luna! Caleb said and pointed to each as he said their names.
Cain then went to Drake and Luna and hugged them both around their necks. He passed his hands along there black and brown bodies and laughed. They were already bigger than him in size but Caleb had already informed them that the lycanthrope outside was their grandfather when he went into the den earlier to greet them so they were on their best behavior and was not afraid of his presence.
Lera we are grandparents to dragons! This is so amazing that I feel you need to pinch me to get up! Cain shouted happily as he continued to touch the bodies of Drake and Luna.
Lera walked over to Caleb and his family along with Cain and spoke in the boastful way.
Now watch this my love! You haven't seen the best of them as yet! Lera stated.
Drake, Luna show your grandfather what you can do! Lera said and winked at them in approval.
Drake and Luna then both shapeshifted into Wergons. A cross breed of dragon and lycanthrope where their bodies and facial features were like a Werewolf but their tails remained as a dragon.
Cain stood flabbergasted.
Lera looked at him and laughed
Wait there's more Cain! Don't faint as yet! Luna, Drake show your grandpa what you can do next!Lera continued.
Drake and Luna then changed back into dragons and began to disappear before his eyes. When they completely disappeared he laughed loudly.
You both are truly remarkable! Magnificent in fact! Thank you for giving me this opportunity! I'm so happy that I've gotten to meet each one of you. I couldn't ask for a better family to be a part off. Cain said and howled long and hard with happiness after seeing that his blood ran in them and finally being reunited with them all. Drake and Luna howled back after him causing the entire family to laugh loudly.
