Chapter 23 - Flesh eater

blaze looking at drip's eyes, was looking at a monster, in human flesh.
"no! am fucking better than you..." he tried to reassure himself, in front of him, was a boy who wasn't by any means human.
blaze stretching both his hand out, created two huge fireballs and threw them at drip, drip seeing this wasn't fazed as he still had about three minutes, for deactivation of the skill death fury.
he had gotten faster than blaze with over 56 agility points, he saw the attack coming the flaming balls were quite big, as they released terrifying heats. drip dodged to the side real fast, avoiding the first ball. the sun contributed to the heat of the fire balls, as it scorched his face slightly

he didn't feel much pain, thanks to the effect of death fury, only adrenaline to kill.
the second ball was coming at fast speeds than the first, as it was smaller than the first. drip stomped his foot hard in the sand, as he shot himself up to the sky avoiding the flames, but little did he know another fireball waited for him.
"argh!" this one hurt him, even though he was still in death fury mode, as he was flung backwards while still descending crashing into the sand, part of his and flesh uniform burnt.
"how was that pt trainer.... did it hurt." blaze said smiling, he seemed confident in himself once again.
"i haven't even started."
blaze shot his body towards drip, and created a fireball in his left hand, he was not lacking in speed too, as drip was getting up from the earlier attack. he didn't sense blaze on time right next to him, as the latter was about to plant the fireball on drip's face, he used his right hand to block instead.

roasted flesh smelt in the air, as drip's right hand was burnt, pieces of flesh falling down from it.
"fuck!" he yelled fighting through the pain, he attempted to kick blaze legs to shift him off balance, as he mustered strength into his legs he striked.
"crack, ah." blaze left leg was broken right now, as the bone was sticking out from his leg, he lost balance. drip seeing the opportunity, took a hold of it punching him in the chest, sending him flying backwards while spilling blood.
drip looked at his right hand, flesh was covering the falling ones as it was regenerating, he then looked at blaze as he saw the latter barely standing with his right leg, blood coming out from him mouth.
"you might be stronger than me, but my mana is higher than yours!" blaze yelled, putting his two hands together stretched at drip, a huge jetski of flames came at incredibly speed towards drip.
"shit." the only thing drip could do, was send out his own aura as if he were to dodge, blaze would just continue aiming at him and he didn't want to take that chance, where leo was.
swinging both his hands at fast speeds with all his agility points, that his hands became like a blade of a moving fan, releasing multiple poison claw drains. as the first aura clashed, it disappeared as the flames was winning in the battle of abilities, but pushing himself some more he swung his hands as fast as he could, seeing his hp detoriating before his eyes but it was worth it.

he didn't dare to stop as if he did, he would be dead for sure the flames were close to him, but were clashing against his aura's as they stayed in the center. he could choose to stop and run to the side, avoiding the flames waiting for the time blaze mana would be exhausted, but it felt like enternity if he did.
"how is this even possible he's just a pt trainer, what's that ability." blaze expression was that of shock, how could a pt trainer ability compete with a rank d evolver. he was better than him in everyway, as he was the son of the park family, and his ability was from an original.
not only that, but he had been training his ability from small so seeing this scene unfold, was surprising to him as he wondered what that dark aura was.

it had been a minute since the clash, drip's hp was now at 68 and reducing, he cursed his system for not giving him any escape skills only attack ones. he was thinking about what to do, even though his hp dropped below 30% he had the food store at 25% of flesh, but he was more worried about what would happen when it finished.
"ahh! my arms are going numb, i have to think of a way to get out of here fast." it had been more than a minute, since his arms moved at fast pace not noticeable to the eyes, releasing dark aura's from his hp.
"wait a minute! what if i activated stealth." drip had forgotten about that skill, mainly because it was too risky and involved fast consumption of his hp, but he didn't have any more choice as he activated stealth. he felt a strange force come upon him, as his presence started to slowly disappear, only the dark thin line of aura's showed until they suddenly stopped.
"where did he go?" blaze was feeling nervous, about drip's sudden disappearance as he couldn't feel his presence, or aura again. his senses were on high alert, waiting for anything unusual.
"argh!" a not to deep claw mark appeared in his chest, as blood spilled out he couldn't sense drip but he kicked, where he presumed drip was but hit nothing but air.
"argh." another claw mark appeared on his back, this time more deeper than the last frustrated, he began punching and kicking the air while sending flames in all directions.
"come out you coward!." blaze shouted out of frustration.
"how dare you say am a coward." drip yelled angrily. "you claim you're the park's son, but you're all pieces of scum bags who feed on trash like us."
drip was careful not to go to close to blaze, only when the opportunity to strike came as even though he was in stealth mode, blaze was a cleaver boy and might figure him out, so he proceeded to this tactic claw and dodge.

it had been another minute, since drip fight with blaze in stealth mode, stealth was really powerful but it's downside was the high consumption of hp.
"tell me! why the hell are you working for the military?." drip asked as he clawed blaze leg, this time bringing out chunks of flesh with him, blood gushing out as blaze staggered. at first drip wanted to kill blaze quickly, but now he wanted him to suffer horribly, before ending his life.
"am not working with the military." blaze said holding his left leg and gritting his teeth, he quickly sealed the wound with his flames.
"bullshit." drip shouted. "then why the hell are you doing this." before, he had been moving from from one place to another, but now he had stopped waiting for an answer from blaze.
"well as you know, we families of the big seven are close so we're meant to help each other, i just practically helped someone in the military get rid of leo since he proved stubborn."
drip guessed either it must be somebody with a high rank, or someone who had a close connection, with the park's family.
"what the fuck did he do, he's not important right so why go for him!"
"the military needed more of the earth ability users, that's why you pt trainers are there but that one refused, so i agreed to take him out everything was meant to go smoothly, until you came and ruined everything.,
"am glad i came, to end the fucking seven power houses." this time, it was blaze that laughed like a mad man, forgetting his pains.
"you really are mad." he said.
"you think i can't?"
"i don't think i know it, the seven power houses leaders are the strongest ability users in the world, so you'd basically be a dead man walking to go against them."
"I'd rather die, than succumb to their shit." drip deactivated stealth, as his hp was below 30 he had long deactivated death fury too, looking at blaze his condition was really bad, claw marks all over his body he was covered in blood from head to toe. he felt he wasn't a threat to him again, due to his condition but either way, he was ready for anything.
as soon as blaze saw drip he started smiling. "you might be smart, but not smart enough."
"what do you mean, you're in no condition to fight me, you're the one who's a dead man breathing." drip shook his head heading for blaze, his claws dripping with blood.
"i might not be able to fight you, but what about you're friend leo." flames were erupting from his body, as flames were surrounding him, he channeled his flames upwards as he said his skill.
"sun ray!." there was like a flaming swirling ray of fire, descending from the sky were leo unconscious body was.
"shit!" drip had been too busy planning to kill blaze, he had forgotten about leo being defensless. the ray was close to Leo's body from the sky, as it came down fast.
"no i-i can't let him die." drip's leg moved backwards, as every tissue and fibre in his body moved to his legs like a bullet he shot out, with incredible speed reaching leo in almost and instant, pushing his body away while he got hit by the ray.
"fuccck." drip screamed, as his body was in flames his uniform had stuck in his melting flesh, he used the remaining 25% of the food store, but it was to no avail his life was going before his eyes, as he'd had only one regret not killing blaze.
