Chapter 21 - Red Portal

"what h-appened..." drip said opening his eyes barely.
[hp: 89/100]
"ahh my head hurts." drip felt he was lying on a bed, as his eyes hadn't fully opened up he struggled to sit up straight, as his whole body was in pain.
his eyes fully opened, as he noticed his uniform had been changed from his body, he was now in a white t-shirt with blue jeans but blood stains were all over, his white t-shirt dying some part red.
"is this my blood?" drip remembered what happened earlier on, when he passed out so he could only conclude that, leo was the one who changed him into this new set of, clothes but he didn't know how long he was out.
if it was a normal person he didn't think they would survive, the amount of pain he went through while depleting his life force, and absorbing mana as he was almost on the brink of death.
"9:34am. hmm that's weird, it says it's still 9:34 maybe i wasn't out that long, or it's just a day that's passed." he didn't know how long he was out, but he could only conclude it was just for a day, as he sensed that currently no one was in the room.
"i should probably head to class." he tried to stand, but his body urked in pain, with every slight movement he made.
"*sigh! with how much danger i put myself in, i won't be surprised if i don't live long." he chuckled, as he thought of how fast, everything has been happening lately.
he tried to close his eyes to rest, but he couldn't as he didn't sleep much, being a parasite but no matter how he shut his eyes, sleep seemed to have left his system.
"speaking of which, they're some things i saw in the system, before i passed out." it has been a while now, since he last checked the system except for the daily notification from the system, telling him his hp was reducing.

Skills:
[poison claw drain: the user's hand becomes a poisoned claw which deals damage to whosever afflicted (except user) and stores poison in the body which kills the specie and returns part of the user hp depending on the lv. user can also release a line of dark aura from both hands.]

[Sense:the user is able to inspect and sense a specie nearby and the information is displayed in stats. the user can also sense a skill or ability used by a specie depending on the lv. note: (sense can not lv up)]

[Gaze:the user's eyes becomes white and one looked at a specie will paralyze the specie stunning it in place and can command the specie to obey him depending on the lv (note: gaze will lv up depending on the user's lv).

[Acid shot: the user fires shots of venom from both palms of his hands which deals damage to affected area once in contact with skin it slowly eats and melts the flesh off.(Note: a lot slower when in contact with higher LV ups and costs 5 hp from each palms fired)]

[Lethal strike destruction: the user performs series of strikes, infused with venom to a specie which deals damage, to the affected part immobilising the lower LV up's and weakens the higher up's. costs 3 hp per strike]

[Stealth: once activated hides user's presence, essence, and aura from a specie which will enable user to perform, sneak kills on species in exchange for for health points. costs 1 hp per second.]

[Death fury: once in this state, adrenaline rushes through user's body, turning him into a fury killing machine that kills anything in it's path (friend or foe) and boosts all stats by 2. Note: user can use this when looking for a fast kill. costs 10 hp per 5 minutes.]
"my endurance increased?" he was surprised, as he had been looking for ways to increase his endurance stat, he knew eating the flesh of some soul evolvers with a stat higher than others, may grant him that stat extra.
like let's say a lv 10 evolver with 29str, 34agl, 24sta, and 19end. if he killed the individual, then the system might reward him, with some extra stats in agility or if he consumed the flesh.
but he wasn't really forthcoming with all the tests he did, to gain extra stats from the system in endurance, but when he was on the brink of death the system magically rewarded him, with a point in endurance.
"just a freaking point in endurance..."
"this damn system, it really wants me to kill myself... "drip couldn't help but complain bitterly at the system, but no matter how he complained, the system couldn't speak.
drip's eyes narrowed further down the screen, when he saw another set of notifications.

somewhere in space on a dark gloomy planet, the moon was the source of light even though it was meant to be daytime, groups of people were strolling on the streets, buying some items from vendors by the roads, as even little children played alongside.
it was like a normal civilization with a town like feature, but there were some noticeable things like in a huge landscape, just outside the town one could see that castles occupied the area, there were 10 castles apart from the huge tall castle at the front, making it 11.
the ten castles stood firm, standing at least four story building tall each having distinguishing features, one had a symbol of weird shaped worm, hung on the flag outside of the castle another a snake.
but the huge castle at the front, had a weird beast symbol with a crown on the head, hung on the outside of its walls as weird coloured flames were lit up in the huge castle, it looked like something was occuring in the inside.
currently inside the huge castle, there were 11 seats occupied in total all rounded the table, foods and drinks of some kind were served on the table, as they ate and drank they looked like normal humans, except for their distinctive pale white faces.
"what are we going to do now that Harry and Helen are dead..." a chubby man, with black hair and a pale white face said he was eating some food, on the long oval shaped table while seating on a dark throne like chair.
"the parasites need a new king to rule, it's been more than 18 years since he decided to leave his responsibility as king, and ran away with that human woman. a woman about 33 of age said, as she drank a red liquid from a wine cup, she had white silky hair reaching down hear waste, which contradicted with her two emerald eyes.
"but we first have to find their son..."
"where are we to look for him? we don't even know if he's alive."
"we can't go to the human world, after centuries of hiding just for a boy, whom weren't even sure is one of us."
"even if we were to find him, he can't just ascend the throne, we still have to see what the people thinks then cast our votes."
"silence!" the young man with purple hair shouted, as the room fell silent, all were looking towards him. the confidence he eluded was excess, as he had a strange beast armour on but this wasn't just any beast armour, as it had the strange beast symbol the huge castle has on the chest.
"my father left my mother after she bore me, for a useless human woman for years now, he had his choice and he chose to run, like a coward he his." the young man then stood up, as the strange armour came to life, and was breathing.
"i could've ascended, were it not the stupid laws passed on but no need, i will get the throne even if i have to kill my basterd brother." he said clenching his dark claws.....

drip was still staring at the message, because he was confused as he didn't even know of the existence of the parasite world, until the system showed him the unlocked hidden quest.
"so there are other parasites, no a world full of people like... me." his heart raced, on the thought of going to the parasites world and not only that, but the system also stated there was a hidden reward.
"that means mom and dad were parasites?" he thought of why lola didn't tell him, his parents were parasites as he was having series of headaches
"no they were definitely humans..."
"ahh." his mind was like a train wreck right now, as tears fell down from his eyes.
"maybe they'll know what happened to mom and dad?" the idea of going to the parasites world, stayed on his mind as he even thought of bringing billy and leo, but removed that thought as they were humans and parasites feed on humans.
"i should tell billy he may know something's." he had regained some strength as the pain had subsided, he checked the room for his uniform as he saw it in the bathroom, putting in one he was heading to the cafeteria as classes were over, he heard some noises behind camp -G.
"what the hell took you so long kid...."
"you know your playing with actual fire right." another voice said, as there was a slap sound on the face, it had some amount of strength in it.
"your lucky blaze didn't like us hitting you, or else..."
"fuck off idiots." the teenage boy yelled.
"bam! arrh..."
"you're not allowed to yell you piece of shit..."
"though we weren't allowed to hit you, we can still break some few limbs hahaha!'
"fucking bullies." drip was mad right now, but he wanted the scene to play out a little more, as his curiosity had gotten the better of him.
"fuck! we're getting late let's take him to blaze." they then took their victim and was walking away, out of curiosity drip followed them away from the camps, to a place behind the academy wall as they touched a particular place, on the wall and it opened up with a set of numbers, they then typed a set of four digit number in, an underground passage opened.
"why is there an underground passage, in the military academy?" at first, he thought they would meet up with the individual called blaze here, but instead they were heading to an underground passage, that was hidden in the military academy.
"come on!"
he then followed behind to a secluded huge room, underground the academy, as he hid behind a wall.
"this must be the portal room." there were many round portal machines, with wires sticking in their backs. the two teenage boys one with pink, and the other light blue hair put their victim down but their backs covered drip's view, then another individual stepped out from behind a portal.
the teenage boy had golden wavy hair like that of the sun and black eyes he was in the military's uniform as he looked at the person on their kneel.
you should've just cooperated while you had the chance. the boy with golden hair said looking indifferently.
i would rather die than do what that monster said. he spat fresh blood on the boy's face.

stop! if it's death you want then so be it... the boy then touched his right ear as he looked at the portal in front a few secs later and it was activated as it shone a bright red light.
the golden haired boy started walking towards the portal while the other two were carrying the green haired boy who was struggling to break free as drip caught a glimpse of his face.
l-l-leo... the look on his face was that if horror as his friend was dragged into the red Portal without thinking he followed after them transported to a new planet.....
