"Is it the clouds or the moon's actually walking??" she said while crumbling those arms at her abdomen. It was a steady walk, rather leaned to air. Now the wind sounded like a soothing care.
"Wind... anyways is touching your face to run through your hair!" with a literal smile on at his lips, he sensed her a distraction.
She chuckled, "Well, the moon and the wind both."
"How?" He had a slight eyebrow raise yet constant smile.
She insisted at controlling her laugh but couldn't. He saw it.
"You never say it directly. Do you?"
"Guess who knows it better.. me? Nope. YOU"
"Yess ma'am.." he said while trying to dwell deeper into her eyes.
She instantly resisted as she heard her subconscious thoughts mingling a strange feeling. It felt calm yet nervous. She somewhere wanted to stay but also vanish at the same time.
"Moon! Where are you? What's taking so long that you don't even care to sleep?" A shrilly voice from a time long ago touches her memory. She gasped.
"What's that?! Is everything alright?" he enquired within those ocean blue eyes of hers.
"Yes I'm fine!" But she wasn't just in the moment. And when she returned it started raining, she could feel the drops on her body when he traced out that terrace door. It was a black door convinced of iron. Both of them somehow managed to enter their shelter at the soonest and she being someone who always has interest in asking questions... weirder they may get.
So this time as well, even though she felt a little intimidated of atmosphere, her curiousity to ask him about the ongoing fall of droplets was nowhere to be but in her head. So she went like, "Do you like rain?! If yes, then with or without umbrella??"
He wasn't nervous to reply, but surprised,
"I walk with the rain without an umbrella 'cause the tiny, heavy droplets weigh me love; much to feel alive.
They shatter the sky for me, so when I look up, it blends my eyes in it.
I never knew why would one not love it just the way it does? There's this dark sheet leaking glassy bleeds of it's own scar; pure enough... isn't it?!".
To this response she could say nothing but to stare him and the weather drops while she nodded her head in acceptance.
