Down in Idryssa's dungeon, she sat on the floor and rested her head on her knees. She did that for a while and then all of a sudden, she rose her head up and in that moment, her pupils turned white.
"The chosen alpha's coming" She declared.
Lucius was having a conversation with Klay when one of Klay's men- the one Aberdeen sent to relay his message, rushed in panting. He then knelt down before Lucius.
"He's coming!" He exclaimed. He was beaten so badly that his wounds took time to heal. Lucius stood up from his throne alarmed.
"Who is coming?" Lucius asked sternly.
"He is very powerful alpha Lucius. He killed a quarter of our men on his own" He answered nervously.
"Speak up warrior! Who is coming?!" Klay asked angrily.
"They call him Rune. He wants to challenge you for the throne. Alpha Lucius, he shall kill you if you both engage in battle" The warrior warned nervously then Lucius bent down to his level and then pulled his hair backwards.
"You do not have faith in your alpha. How pathetic!" Lucius said with a sneer and then he pulled out his heart. He left the warrior for dead and then stepped outside the house of the Crescents. He heard chants coming from just a few miles away. They were loud and powerful. It was like Aberdeen was bringing a whole army. Crescentia, Nye and Klay quickly came to the front of the house of the Crescents after hearing the noises Aberdeen and his people were making from miles away.
"What is that?" Crescentia asked after seeing a small shadowy figure coming from afar. Then the shadowy figures began to multiply until they saw a whole crowd of angry people forging towards them led by Aberdeen.
"Who are they?" Nye asked in astonishment.
"Brace yourself Lucius" Klay said and then Lucius grinned. He patiently waited for Aberdeen and his people to come to him. No sooner did it take them to surround Lucius. They had him cornered and then Aberdeen stepped out. Lucius laughed.
"You must be Rune. What lovely hair you have there" Lucius jeered.
"Enough is enough Lucius. You have hurt your people much more than you have hurt your enemy. I shall not allow for this" Aberdeen said confidently.
"After all I have given you ingrates! You choose some measly wolf to rule over you! All the wars, all the hardships! The other wolves dare not attack us because they know where I have gotten this pack to! It was all me! All me!" Lucius declared at the top of his voice.
"That is why I choose to battle you for the throne. Winner takes all" Aberdeen said confidently.
"Even the life of the one who prevails over the other" Lucius said with a grin.
"Lucius!" Annora called out from the crowd. She then came up to him.
"Do not battle this man. I have seen what he is capable of. He will kill you" Annora warned sternly.
"You call yourself a warrior yet you give up even before the war starts" Lucius said in disgust.
"You were the one who said a warrior fights or dies for his people whilst I said he fights and dies for his people. What do you agree to do now for these people that were never yours? Fight or die, in other words back down or fight and die?" Annora asked. Lucius stood for a while thinking about what Annora had said. It didn't take much time then he kicked Aberdeen down to the ground with his foot.
"No one is bigger nor stronger nor more powerful than I! Do you hear me?!" Lucius asked in anger and everyone went silent. He then used his right foot to hold Aberdeen down to the ground. He stepped on his chest so hard as though his foot was going to infiltrate Aberdeen's chest. Aberdeen was about to run his claws over Lucius's legs but once Lucius noticed it, he rose Aberdeen to the skies with one hand then used the other to run his claws over Aberdeen's face. He then threw Aberdeen away and then picked him up, rose him in the air and ran his claws over the other side of his face. He repeated this multiple times until he was sure that Aberdeen was very weak and his healing process was slowing down.
"Is this who you wanted to replace me?! Is this who was going to kill me?!" Lucius asked the people in anger. Then he began smiling and laughing. He then went over to Aberdeen and picked him up from the ground. He stood him up and buried his hands inside Aberdeen's chest. He was about to remove his heart when Cersei came out from the crowd shouting.
"No, no! Please I beg of you Alpha Lucius. He's my son. I told him not to do this. I thought he listened to me. Please do not kill him. Please I beg of you alpha Lucius" Cersei begged on her knees crying to Lucius. He looked down upon her and sneered.
"Next time, teach your son how to respect authority" Lucius said and as he was about to pull out Aberdeen's heart, Aberdeen rose his head up and his eyes turned white completely. He held Lucius's hands with a firm grip. The grip was so firm even Lucius began to feel the pain.
"Let go of my heart" Aberdeen demanded and immediately, Lucius did. Aberdeen then broke both Lucius's hands. He repeatedly ran his claws over both sides of Lucius's face as Lucius stepped backwards. Then he kicked Lucius to the ground. Everybody was shocked. For a moment, they had given up on Aberdeen's capability. They began cheering Aberdeen on.
Aberdeen broke both Lucius's ankles. He then placed his heel under Lucius's jaw and lifted it high as though he wanted to pull off his head from his neck.
"You never gave this kingdom what it deserved. You never gave your people what they deserved. Even the life of the one who prevails over the other... I am sure you remember that Lucius. This is the end of the line" Aberdeen said about to pull Lucius's heart out when someone from the crowd yelled...
"Wait!" Klay exclaimed as he came out from the crowd.
"Take mine instead. I shall die in place of him. It is only right I do so after the many things he and I have been through together" Klay said with a smile and tears in his eyes.
"Klay you must be...you must be mad if you think I'll let you take my place" Lucius said as he coughed out blood in between his speeches.
"I've been mad from the onset friend. Alpha Rune...if you would do the honours" Klay said with a smile and with tears in his eyes. Crescentia then came out from the crowd along with Nye to carry Lucius. Aberdeen gave them Lucius and then he faced Klay. Klay got on his knees and smiled. Aberdeen pulled his hair backwards and then shoved his hands into Klay's chest. Before his death he remembered the words of Idryssa....

"Crescentia doesn't sleep well at night...in her dreams, she runs from the prophecy only to wake up and see that there was nothing to be afraid of. Tell her that there is something to be afraid of, tell yourself and your alpha that someone is coming, someone more powerful than you can imagine and his reign will be your end!" Idryssa stressed angrily. Klay got furious and ran his claws against Idryssa's face.

"Aberdeen" Klay said with a smile and then Aberdeen plucked out his heart and immediately, he fell lifeless to the ground. Lucius had tears in his eyes after watching Klay die and so did Crescentia. Though Aberdeen was quite confused as to why Klay would call him Aberdeen, he rose his heart high proclaiming victory over Lucius's reign and the people chanted his name- Alpha Rune.
