Chapter 15 - The Cat Fight.

Sometimes a punch can be a relief but it's just not good."

_____

"Jae-Hwo!"

I shouted Jae-Hwo's name when I saw the young man sitting next to Loretta. My shout not only made Jae-Hwo turn his head, but Loretta and he turned their heads too. Should I say his name? Well, the name is not wrong, the one who owns the name is wrong. I'll say his name again even though it hurts to say it.

Jae-Hwo stood up as well as Loretta who was sitting between Jae-Hwo and Axelle. I saw a trace of blood on the left corner of Jae-Hwo's lips. The surrounding skin was also still red. I'm sure it was Loretta who helped Jae-Hwo clean the wound because my sister always carried a mini first aid kit whenever she went anywhere.

I turn to look at Axelle and I hope he gets more injured than Jae-Hwo. This is the first time I hope he gets hurt because all this time I have always reminded him not to get hurt at all because prospective national basketball athletes should not be hurt. Seeing Axelle's blue left jaw and slightly red bump on her forehead made me ache. I don't have the heart but I can't be consumed by the situation.

"Why are you guys fighting like this?" I asked Jae-Hwo and Axelle by looking at them alternately.

"You!"

"Self-defense!"

They answered simultaneously and I nodded in understanding but in my heart, I smiled praising Jae-Hwo's actions. At least it's also useful for these young Korean-Indonesian brethren to come back here. I'll thank you later after we get home so Axelle doesn't know. It's not that I'm afraid that Axelle will be offended, it's just that this is my problem with Axelle and Jae-Hwo doesn't need to interfere so I won't let Axelle know if I praise Jae-Hwo for beating Axelle today.

"Jae-Hwo, go home with me and Loretta, you go to the course so you can remove your eyelashes, and don't make Jae-Hwo take them off!"

"Didn't Jae-Hwo hurt your eyelashes when you removed the false eyelashes?" asked Axelle and suddenly making the three of us stare at Axelle.

Loretta shook her head innocently and replied, "Brother Jae-Hwo is an expert so be safe!" Her tone was indeed very annoying and seemed mocking but that was Loretta's style since the first time she could speak.

Jae-Hwo caught my arm and Loretta suddenly and took me by surprise. He walked towards home and we left Axelle I don't know if he is still there or has gone home because I don't want to look at him. If there is a straight road ahead, why should you turn your head back to the broken road behind?

"Wait, Loretta has a course!" I said with a little rebelliousness from Jae-Hwo's arm but what was my power that didn't have muscles as thick as Jae-Hwo.

"When I saw a cat fighting, I immediately asked permission not to attend the course!" Loretta lightly said the word 'cat fight' to make Jae-Hwo clear his throat that he didn't accept being called a cat.

"It's a cat, right? When you two fight, I splash you with water from a bottle and stop immediately. Cats when they fight and when they get splashed with water, they stop fighting right away."

I laughed out loud when Loretta said that without any sense of manners at all. The laughter didn't last long because Jae-Hwo gripped my arm tightly and made me scream in pain. He is indeed a king with a heart and is not just a king anymore if he is like this. Luckily it didn't last long, if it lasts long I'll make sure to come to the hospital to do X-rays.

When we got home, Loretta and I were immediately greeted by mom's scolding. I came home after sunset while Loretta didn't go to the make-up class. After I told mom about the reason why I came home late and Loretta didn't go to class, she apologized to us. And I saw the surprised look on Loretta's face when she glanced at my sister's face.

"Jae-Hwo is such a good boy!" Mom compliments Jae-Hwo then walks into the kitchen again.

"You knew right away that they were fighting from someone else or what?" I asked Loretta.

"I was just passing through the park and saw Jae-Hwo walking in a hurry and I followed and it turned out to be punching Axelle in the face. There was a fistfight and I poured water from a bottle and they stopped fighting. Finally, I told them to sit down and I'm in the middle so didn't fight again, so I call you." Loretta's story came from her bedroom door and I couldn't help but nod.

Should I thank Jae-Hwo and praise him like what I said in my heart when I was in the park earlier?

I saw mom come out of the kitchen hastily while saying, "I'm going to Jae-Hwo's house to take him to dinner as well as to thank him."

If you think that I, Sis Lovelace, and my mother have the same nature, then you are right. The three of us are indeed a little vindictive and at the same time find it difficult to forgive people who have made our hearts hurt and crushed. Very different from the forgiving father and Loretta.

As I climbed the third ladder, Loretta called out to me so I stopped and looked down. "Are you happy brother Jae-Hwo did this?"

I nodded with a smile but I saw a look of disappointment in Loretta's eyes. "Honestly, I don't like what Jae-Hwo did earlier because it was violent even though I was flattered by what Jae-Hwo did earlier." For some reason, Loretta who is still in junior high school sounds wise but I don't agree with what she is saying.

"Roosevelt, Loretta!" shouted Sis Lovelace, who came home so late at this hour because she usually only came home before dinner or even after dinner.

"Earlier, I heard the story from mom when I arrived. Daebak, daebak, daebak are indeed Jae-Hwo!" Well, I just agree because what Sis Lovelace said is the same as what I feel.

Loretta went to her room and I'm sure she was afraid of losing the debate with both of us. Let it be, my sister is still small and doesn't know what it's like to be cheated on and it's enough that I'm the only one who feels this way. Not for my sisters.

Sis Lovelace climbed the stairs and she put her arm around my shoulder then we both walked up the stairs to the second floor, where our room was. We laughed merrily as if what was in our hearts was channeled today through Jae-Hwo.

My cell phone vibrated and I took my phone and there was an incoming call from an unknown number. Because fraud is rampant by being hypnotized through phone calls, I refuse to pick it up and immediately reject the call.

"Why didn't you pick it up?" asked Sis Lovelace when we were on the second floor.

"Unknown number! I'm afraid I'll be hypnotized and give my account pin to a fraudster." I answered while ringing my arm after Sis Lovelace didn't embrace me.

Sis Lovelace laughed hearing that, "Does your account have money?"

"Yes, if you transfer some money to my account!" I giggled when I said that and ran straight to my room before being thrown on the doormat by Sis Lovelace.

Entered the room and locked it so that Sis Lovelace couldn't open the door and threw the doormat at me. I moved my arm which was flanked by Jae-Hwo, it hurt. Oh, he's outrageous. Should I just take the credit for it? No, no, he's already kind so I'll take it for granted this time.

My phone vibrates again and this time it's a call from Axelle and I'm in a confusing.

To be continued.
