Lance gulped uncomfortably at the question. He knew that she wouldn't like the answer he gave her. "I…was just thinking about things," he stammered, suddenly feeling incredibly self conscious. He knew that Pidge wouldn't like the truth.
In fact, she didn't like anything he told her about his problems. She always found a way to twist them into something else and Lance wasn't sure he liked that.
'Just tell her, Lance,' Keith's voice rang out in his head. 'Just tell her about your problem. You need help with it. You don't have to tell her everything, but just a part would be helpful.' A small frown appeared on Lance's face as his gaze flickered down to the floor. Was he really ready to open up to Pidge about his problem?
Was he really ready to finally admit everything that had been keeping him awake since their last mission? Wasn't he supposed to hide everything from her? What if Pidge refused to listen to him?
