Whenever Lance tried reaching out to them, he ended up giving up. He didn't know who to turn to or what he could do. He just wanted his parents to come back and talk to him like they always used to. To hear their voices and listen to their laughs. But they never answered their calls anymore. He wanted them back.
He needed them.
He sighed. He really wished things were different. He didn't know how many times he wished he was still living in Cuba where the McClains lived. He never really talked about Cuba much to anyone. He felt like he didn't deserve any happiness at all.
But, at least he had Keith...and everyone else. He thought about asking Keith to come live in Cuba with him. He was always worried about whether or not Keith would be comfortable there, but he never told him that.
