"ROSEMARY SCARLET you have to tell us everything now," shouted an angry Canary and Grace.
After I finished my classes, I went home a little late, mom didn't tell me anything except that my friends are waiting for me in my room, and as soon as I entered the room they started throwing questions at me.
"WHAT HAPPENED? WHY WERE YOU IN THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE??" "WHY DID YOUNG MASTER STORM COME TO THE UNIVERSITY??" "YOU FORGOT TO EAT TODAY DIDN'T YOU??" " WHY ARE YOU HOME LATE??" "WHERE WERE YOU??" " WE HAVE SEEN A LEMO TAKING YOU HOME IS IT YOUNG MASTER STORM??" " GRACE TOLD ME THAT STORM GUY IS CALLED THE NIGHTMARE DEMON FROM HIS FIRST DAY IN HIS FIRST YEAR, WHY WERE YOU WITH A DEMON??" "WHAT DID YOU DO??".
"Ok ok stop it with the questions you two, I will tell you everything in detail" I shouted.
After I introduced myself to Storm the principal said " Now that you know each other let's get down to business and Windy can you go outside for a while " but Windy didn't want to until I convinced her.
"Since it's your first day Storm, Rose will show you around for the next two weeks, and when you get used to everything new and everyone then I will call both of you again because I need both of you to help me with the Halloween festival that's coming up".
"Grandpa, if you are joking with me right now, it's not funny," said Storm angrily.
"First don't call me grandpa when you are here, second why would I joke with you??".
"Sir, may I ask how can we help with the Halloween festival?? I mean I am in Fashion design and from what I know Storm is in business Management" Rosemary asked I guess trying to change the mood.
"Well, the student council is too busy with other things plus most of the students in the student council aren't from any creative faculties, so I thought why not make something new like a festival club, in it are students who are responsible for any festivals from different faculties, Well, it's still in progress, I will tell you everything after 2 weeks, but for the time being you and 3 other students are responsible of the club and each one of you can choose 4 or 5 or even 6 others to help from different facilities, that is it for now".
And after we finished talking with the principal, I called Windy to know where she is and she said it was in the design room, so we went to her.
On our way, we ran into Zack "Oh, hey Zack where were you?? everyone was looking for you everywhere for a while now".
"Hey, Rose I was busy studying these few days for the exams and you and Grace may hit me on the back because of it," said Zack wiping his glasses.
"Are you trying to act stupid?? do you truly think we will hit you just because you are studying, Zack, you know every professor in every faculty in our university and everyone knows you are one of the smartest people in our university, even smarter than the professors, right??" I asked.
"So what about it??" he said expressionlessly.
"So you have the power to change the professor's mind, all because you know a lot you are like a living Wikipedia, so when the professors tell the students in any faulty for example that there aren't any quizzes, you tell them to do the quizzes and it's usually the double".
"So again, what about it??" he said expressionlessly again.
"SO, WHO SAID WE WANTED YOUR OPINION, YOU NERD, WE DONT WANT QUIZZES, IF YOU WANT TO TAKE ANY QUIZZES, TAKE THEM ALONE OR TELL YOUR PROFESSORS AND FORGET THE OTHER FACULTIES" I shouted and I think I shocked Storm for a second.
"Well, because of this reaction I am always hiding from you and Grace, you two plus other few who dare to hit me, I don't know why you are angry, I do this to help everyone grow better," he said sliding his glasses up and moving away from me.
"Well, you are a good friend but we didn't ask for your help, plus you better run to your faculty before I call Grace over here".
"I was thinking the same thing," he said then ran.
"May I ask you something??" said Storm.
"Ya go ahead".
"Who was that??" asked Storm.
"That was Zack Calvin, he is a second-year from the faculty of management too but from the department of accounting not it will make any difference, he is the smartest student in our university, as you heard even smarter than the professors, he loves learning and studying all kinds majors, he is the reason why most of the faculties have endless quizzes, he isn't a bad person, he is truly a very good friend when you get to know him, but he is just a super nerd and sometimes you have to hit him on the back or head for him to understand us," I said laughing.
"Looks like there were big changes while I was gone, anyway how did you know which design room Windy is in?" asked Storm.
"Well, there is this one design room which not everyone likes to go to, so I usually go there because it's quiet, and I made Windy's dress there so it's the only place she could be in," I said, and as soon as we walked in we did found Windy there, she was admiring her dress.
"Rose, big bro what happened?? is there something wrong??" Windy asked in a concerned voice.
"No, nothing is wrong, your grandfather just told us that we have to work together for a while on the upcoming festivals and that we will start after 2 weeks" as soon as I told Windy her eyes begin to sparkle.
"That's great news then I will get to come here more often, especially since my school break will begin soon, but since you guys will begin working in 2 weeks, what will you do now?".
"You and I will go home because you have homework to do and a school to go to in the morning," said Storm.
"And I guess I will also go home, I finished all my classes for today early so it's nice to get home and rest," I said looking at a sad Windy.
So Windy and Storm called their driver and I tried to call a taxi, it's been half an hour and I still can't find any ride home, I guessed Windy and Storm were on their way home by now but I was wrong.
"Rosey, why are you still here??" asked Windy.
"I should ask you the same thing, for me, I couldn't find a ride yet, and you???"
"Well, I forget my bag and couldn't remember where I put it so we went looking for it," said Windy.
My little sister is the biggest liar ever, we were in the limo but as soon as she saw Rosemary she kept whining if we could wait till she would make sure that she went home.
"If I remember correctly you live near the old elementary school, right,??" asked Windy and I don't like where this is going.
"Yes, you are right, you came to visit my house before," said Rosemary.
"Well, you can ride with us we are going the same way"
I knew it, Windy was planning something, she may look like a sweet little angel but she has a mind of a devil.
"No no I can't, I guess I will just have to wait for Grace to finish her classes or call Canary to pick me up we all live near each other so it will be ok and I feel like I would be bothering your brother," said Rose.
Then I spoke coldly " and why do you think that??".
"Well I don't say anything usually but I try my best to understand the people around me, and from what I understand and saw since the moment you entered your grandfather's office it was obvious to me that you didn't want to come, and that you knew beforehand that you are going to work with someone because you didn't look surprised, and you didn't like that idea and what even made it clearer that you didn't speak to me a lot or ask anything until now, so you will not be comfortable with me in the limo with you guys, so does this answer your question??" Rosemary said smiling.
I was speechless she hit everything on the dot, it may not look like it at first, but it looks like maybe working with her will be either annoying or interesting or could be even both.
"Well I wouldn't say you are wrong but since your home is on the way and Windy wants you to ride with us and as her big brother I will not say no"
"Come on Rose, please for me, " Windy said giving Rose the cute puppy face.
"Ok ok if you insist" and she rode with us.
"So Rose, what did you do today??" Windy asked.
"Nothing much I guess I just worked on Mary Williams's dress and took some classes," she said.
"So let me get this straight you only did work and nothing else today," asked Windy staring at me.
"Yes, is there something wrong with that" as soon as Rosemary said that I could feel Windy's anger beside me.
"Rose are you trying to tell me that you only worked today and FORGET TO EVEN EAT," said Windy with an angry face.
"Now that I think about it Grace did remain me to eat but I may have forgotten because I was too busy drawing Mary's Dress, but it's ok I can cook something when I go home".
"NO, it is not ok you will get sick because you don't eat enough".
"But Windy don't forget when I do remember to eat, I eat enough food for a whole village," she said laughing.
"But Rose, you should eat 3 meals a day at separate times not all the meals at one time," said Windy lecturing Rose.
"Look who's talking you eat like there is no tomorrow and more than 3 meals at any time".
"Well, I am a different case and that's because I am a were...." fortunately Windy closed her mouth when she realized what she was gonna say or she will be in big trouble.
"You're what??" Rose asked but Windy dodged the question and give an idea that was the worst idea she could come up with.
"Nevermind that, anyway Rose it is still a little early for you to go home, plus both of us are hungry, and knowing my brother I am sure he is hungry too, so let's go to the restaurant near your house".
"Windy, you have school tomorrow," I told her and Rose agreed with me saying" and you still have homework to do" then our stomachs made noises.
"Your mouths are saying something and your stomachs are saying something different, Scott can you take us to Angel & Devil please," Windy told our driver.
The driver took us to the restaurant and we ordered the food, it was kinda awkward and weird at first and when the food came me and Windy ate as we haven't seen food in years, it was normal for both of us to eat a lot but I thought it will be weirder for Rosemary because she is a human after all and she will be disgusted but she didn't, she was laughing and wiping Windy's mouth like a child, her smile was so warm and she looked kinda cute.... wait a minute warm, cute what the hell I am saying, I must be feeling tired.
We finished our food then took Rose home and we left.
"Then see you tomorrow," said Rosemary.
"Are you sure nothing else happened ???" asked Canary after I finished.
"Yes, nothing else happened, Canary".
"So you will start working with him in 2 weeks??" asked Grace.
"Yes, I will start working with him in 2 weeks, Gracey".
"So you will start working with the nightmare demon, in 2 weeks??" asked Canary and Grace at the same time.
"Yes, I will, and can you stop asking the same question over and over again??"
"By the way what does he look like??" asked Canary.
"Let's see..... he's taller than me not by a lot, he has black hair, you can't tell if his eyes are blue or green so you could say turquoise, he might be cold a lot of times to everyone but I think he is a nice and kind person to his sister at least, so calling him demon might be a bit too much, I guess getting to know him might not be a bad thing I think, maybe it will be either annoying or interesting".
.................they kept staring at me and I think they were shocked by something
"Hey guys why are you staring at me like that and not saying anything??, it's kinda scary did I say something wrong or is there something on my face??".
"Rosemary, do you realize you just said that it would be nice getting to know a boy you just met today and that you went eating with him and his sister??" asked Grace.
"Yes, what is wrong with that??, I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and think about it he is Windy's big brother, so I think it's ok".
"It took you 5 months to say that about Adrian and Zack," said Grace.
"So what are you trying to say??" I asked in confusion
"Rose, I have known you for a very long time now, I think since middle school, and we were in an all-girls school so we didn't meet a lot of boys or even talked to boys and when you entered the university you have known a lot of nice girls and there big brothers or friends who are boys were a bunch of jerks, it took you a very long time to give them a chance even to consider being their friend," said Canary.
"So what??, it takes me time to get used to some people, I still don't understand you guys??".
The girls looked at each other and then Grace said:" Storm was the first boy you ever expressed what you truly think about him I mean people you meet once or twice even if it was an hour ago you never remember and not only that you were blushing just now while talking".
"Plus you have gone out with him from the first day you meet, So what we are trying to say is that you may have fallen in love at first sight" added Canary.
"So because I expressed what I truly think about him then I have fallen in love,...Wow, girls, I think I made you watch too many romantic movies with me" I said laughing.
"It is getting late, even if you live nearby my mother will never let you go home late, so let's go to sleep, we all have a busy day tomorrow,".
"Oh, your mum didn't tell you, we are spending the week with you, I had a fight with my dad again, and Grace's parents are on a business trip," said Canary.
After we talked for a while, we went to bed, Grace and Canary went fast asleep but for some reason, I kept thinking of what they had said is it truly the first time I said something nice about a boy from the first meeting and now that I think about it more, was I truly blushing when I was talking, I do remember feeling my face heating up but....., what.....what the hell I am saying I must be going crazy or I also watched too many romantic movies, I should just forget about it, I have to wake up early.
