Helga's pov;
"Answer the question young lady , I do not have a lot of patience to spare. Who are you?" He asks again and I just smirk at him.
"Will you believe me if I say you are my grand grand grand grand grand…. Uncle?" He looks at me like I have grown two horns .
Understandable . I mean who believes in time traveling? Even I didn't before all this happened.
He brings up a knife to my throat and says "Do not toy with me little girl because as I said my patience is laying way below the line"
I push the knife away from my neck with my finger and look at him then remove my amulet from its hiding under my shirt.
"Is this familiar? Or at least it's magic?" He looks at the amulet and looks at it curiously,
"Give it to me. I need a closer look" I give it to him without hesitation , he is my uncle after all.
He looks at it for some minutes and then his eyes glow green matching the color of the amulet.
"This magic . It is impossible, the only other person who can practice it was an old friend of me and she died a long time ago so how was this made? Is there a third person in the mix that I am missing?" He says to himself. He seems really shocked to see another magic holder in this world still alive.
"Where did you find this amulet? Who gave it to you young lady?" He asks threateningly.
"Calm down old man . I stole it from someone who owned this , I guess she can travel time as well, at least she could but now it is impossible as I have her amulet" I grin , proud of myself for doing what I did to get here. It is going to be worth it.
"Time traveling huh? Interesting concept" He says trying to piece together everything I just told him.
"Interesting indeed. So basically I came here because I learnt you are an incredible wizard who happens to be in my family bloodline so I figured I could get magic lessons from you so that I can continue your legacy and rule the world or whatever it is you want to do with this kind of power" I think he could gain a lot from recruiting me, he has nothing to loose and plus his legacy would not just die out in the future.
"You are a smart girl I see" I nod
"It is settled then , I will teach you some magic only because I want my legacy to exist in the future you live in and because having an apprentice might help with the plans I already have for this world"
He says and then the other man to get something,
"Wear this at all times , actually once you put it on you can not remove it because you will be attacked by it . I will use it to keep track of you and control you , just in case" he puts a sort of bracelet on my wrist that quite literally enters part of my flesh.
Hurts like hell but if this is what it takes to get his teaching , I will.
"From now on you will learn under me and I shall bring you far , enough to reach any dream you have. And you will help me reach my goals" he explains.
"And what exactly is your goal uncle?" I ask
He looks at me and smirks "The throne but not just the one of Alba but all the other thrones the world has to offer . I will be known as the greatest wizard and conquerer to ever set foot on this earth" he laughs as all villains do in movies and I laugh along with him.

Avery's pov;
Ethera just told me that she is in my body currently which is weird and creepy , I guess I never thought of it in the opposite way. I am always in her body and I am now understanding how she most probably feels every time she thinks about it.
I don't know how we are going to fix this yet because I still have to tell Heizel ,
Oh where is she even?
I walk around the house and ask Hygai who tells me to look in the backyard but to be discreet because she is with someone and when he said that he wiggled his eyebrows , I know that look so I am curious to see who it is.
I reach the backyard and peek from behind a tree ,
I then see Heizel talking to who? Tobryl.
Ouhhhh so those two actually stuck up together , they really clicked since last time I saw them.
Heizel is all giggly and smily and Tobryl is just calm and probably flirting in a smooth way , the man has game that I can tell you . I am so rooting for this couple , like hashtag the couple of the century.
Look at them , even the scenery is in their favor , the wind is blowing a bit , the sun is just rising and she is wearing his coat . Oh love . This is really movie worth, better than any I've seen so far.
I think I was too engrossed into the moment trying to get a closer look that I fell face first on the grass and thus made my presence known.
"Ouch" I whimper holding my nose that for sure is bleeding and the bump I feel on my forehead is not going away any time soon. Shit.
"Ethera! Oh dear , what happened?" Heizel asks as she runs up to be followed by Tobryl.
I just ruined their moment , good job Avery .
You seem to ruin quite a lot of relationships lately.
"It's nothing , I was distracted and so I didn't see the up lift of the ground" I say and I greet Tobryl with a nod that he reciprocated.
We go inside and Heizel is putting ointment on my forehead to sooth the pain , Tobryl decided to leave because of urgent matters with the king so we are all alone.
I should tell her about the Ethera thing now.
"Heizel I am Avery not Ethera" I say and she looks shocked because it was sudden and she didn't get to know about it . She just nods.
"We have a situation that is quite grave. I need us to go to grandma Anne to ask her about the bond she created because now Ethera is in my body which doesn't happen usually and I am suspecting that the fact that we have a third person in the link is affecting our exchange"
She stops her movements and looks at me "What do you mean by Ethera is in your body? This is not possible. It wasn't supposed to happen"
"I know , which is why we have to go see her grandma right now" she nods.
We made the necessary arrangements by getting the permit to leave the palace. Quite easy because the king himself gave me a special seal to go where I want and when I want , I mean he gave it to Ethera but same thing.
We reach the Yuril house and knock on the door.
Ms.Yuril is the one who opens for us,
She literally jumps on me once she sees me,
"My daughter ! You came to visit what a blessing . I though you would never set foot her again after getting comfortable with life at the palace" This woman really is a drama queen and you can tell she is just glad her money making daughter has arrived. Hypocrite.
"I am glad to see you as well mother , I came to talk to grand mother though. I have pressing matters to discuss with her" I say
"Let us get in first my child , you must be tired from your journey" we enter , Heizel and I but she tells Heizel to stay outside to which I decline but Heizel just tells me to drop it.
What a joke this woman is , Ethera is way too tolerant with her . She even has the guts to order Heizel around when she has a higher rank than her now.
Anyways I didn't come for her so I should just let it slip, for Ethera's sake.
"So where is grand mother?" I ask not wasting one second.
"She is in her room at the moment, I think you still remember where it is" she says sarcastically and I just fake smile and stand up to go see grandma.
I knock on her door and she lets me in.
"Grandma Anne? It's me Avery. I have ran into some trouble with your grand daughter Ethera regarding our bond" I say trying to look for her around the room but she is no where to be found.
"What trouble exactly, my child?" She asks suddenly appearing in front of me. Can she not do that and just come in and out like a normal person? Geez I almost had a heart attack.
We sit down and I explain to her the whole situation and how Helga stole my first amulet and that I suspect her of causing this whole mess . The whole time the woman keeps chanting mantras in a foreign language.
"My child , I am afraid both you and Ethera are stuck in your positions for now" she says as she stops chanting.
I gaps "what do you mean by stuck? We can't be. This would destroy the order of things! History will be distorted" I exclaim. This is a catastrophe.
"I am sorry my child but I can not stop this unless you remove the third party involved in the bond" she explains.
"And how do I do that exactly? It's not like I can kill her or something" she just looks at me and I am beginning to be scared of what she might have in mind.
