"Nuisance, that's what she thinks about me." Austin chuckled, blood was still trickling down his forehead, on the right side of his shirt was covered in blood, looking at her after such a long time was enough of pain, but her words crushed his already broken heart.
He was sitting in his car, parked near his company but enough away so nobody could see him.
Blood was still trickling from his forehead but that didn't even matter, he cursed at Isabelle, even after five years he couldn't bring himself to hate her completely.
He drove from Jason's apartment to the company, he didn't wish to go back at his house, he saw people staring at him from the window, who won't stare at someone who is bleeding but is sitting in his car.
tilting his head on the seat, he closed his eyes, he didn't want to cry for a woman who enjoyed his misery.
A knock on the window, made him groan, opening his eyes, he turned to look at the person who disturbed him, he was shocked to see Jasmine looking at him worriedly, she mouthed something which was not audible to him.
Frowning he rolled down the window and asked, "What were you saying?" Jasmine stared at him with a look of utter shock, "Get out of the car." She ordered, opening the door, pulling him out, Austin kept protesting.
"Miss, are you trying to kidnap me?" Austin questioned, she pulled him holding his arm, and made him sit in the passenger seat.
"What are you trying to do?"
She closed the door not answering his question, Jasmine came and sat in the driver's seat, "I'm trying to save you." Saying that she drove off.

"It should be fine now, but make sure the bandage doesn't get wet." The doctor advised, muttering a thank you, Austin got up to leave, Jasmine followed behind him. It was already six in the evening as they left the hospital.
She was sure something happened to him, he didn't hit his head somewhere, as he told the doctor, it was for the first time that she has seen Austin so quiet.
As they sat in the car, Jasmine insisted on accompanying him till his house, "Be honest with me, how did you get hurt?"
"Like I said, I was careless and got hurt."
"Lier." Jasmine whispered, making him chuckle.
"I feel like you know me better than I know myself." Austin teased her, Jasmine rolled her eyes and replied, "If that was the case, I would have known what the reason is behind your sad smile was."
After she said that Austin was quite for the whole ride, Jasmine thought she said something offensive to him, she kept glancing at him, but he was completed relaxed, his eyes closed as he fell asleep.
When they reached his home, she woke him up, he got out of the car as Jasmine supported him to walk, "I'm fine, you can leave now."
"Just shut up and let me help you while I'm here."
Austin smiled, almost forgetting about Isabelle, but the second he entered his house all the memories, the time they spent there flashed in front of his eyes.
"Sit here, I'll bring water for you." Jasmine made him sit on the couch and went to the kitchen to bring water for him.
He removed his jacket which was covered in blood, a white bandage was something he didn't want, he wasn't sure what he will tell Jason tomorrow, he left from his house in such a hurry, leaving his friend like that, he might surely be worried about him and angry as well.
"Did something happen between you and your bestie?" Jasmine inquired giving him a glass of water, as she sat down on the couch beside him.
"Thank you and no, nothing happened between me and my bestie." He answered, gulping down the water, he was quite thirsty.
"Then why don't you just tell me what happened, let me tell you this Austin, I'm a very curious person and if you don't tell me what happened, I won't be able to sleep at night!"
Austin blinked at her words, and busted in laughter, hurting his head in the process, he groaned in pain holding his head.
"See, now it is hurting because you laughed!" Jasmine scolded.
"Hello, it's your fault for making me laugh." Austin accused, "Hey, I never told you to laugh, and it wasn't even funny."
"Uh, just be quite my head is hurting." He complained, "Just eat something and then you can have a painkiller." Jasmine suggested, "Can't I just have the medicine without eating?"
"No, you can't, let me see what's there to eat."
Jasmine got up from the couch, she opened the fridge in the kitchen but there were only fruits, "Does he only survive on this." Shaking her head, she took out some fruits and decide to just feed him what there was.
Austin lied down on the couch, trying to sleep hoping the pain will stop. "Here have this and then you can have the medicine." She gave him the fruits, "Wow, you cut them quite nicely!" Austin complimented her.
"So, as a thank you, will you tell me, how you got hurt?" She asked, she knew that it was wrong to keep pestering him, but she just wanted to know the reason behind his sad face.
He kept quiet and ate the fruits, after he was done, Jasmine gave him the medicine, that was in the drawer, he gulped it and sighed because of the pain.
"Now that you have taken the medicine, I will leave." Jasmine said, she still sure if she should leave him alone or not.
"Don't look at me like that, I won't die alone, so don't worry and go, your bestie might be waiting for you!"
"Go and lie down on your bed, I'll leave now, take care." Jasmine's glanced at him one last time, "And for your peaceful sleep let me tell you, I was hit by someone."
