"So, Jason-" Claire was about to say but sighed and crossed her arms, she was getting ignored by him, Claire was sitting in front of Jason who was busy talking on the phone, they were sitting in his cabin, "Why did you call me, if you were so busy?" Claire whispered pouting, which didn't go unnoticed by Jason.
He smiled at her making her blush, she has noticed since the day he visited her home two days ago and met her dad he has been quite sweet to her, like he was always smiling at her which is something he didn't do to others, even Austin was shocked to see him like that.
"I'm sorry, so, what were you saying?" Jason asked, as he kept his phone down, "I was asking you about the contest, how will you make them understand?" Jason raised his brow, "Why do I need to explain anyone about my decisions?"
"I'm just glad that you accepted my offer." He smiled at her, she narrowed her eyes at him, making him confused, "Did I do something?"
"Yes, stop saying that!" Claire pointed her finger at him, but he still didn't understand what she meant, "Saying what?" Claire huffed loudly, "Offer! Stop saying I accepted your offer!"
Jason tilted his head in a questioning way and said, "But it's a fact." Claire looked at him in disbelief, she knew he wasn't an idiot who don't understand what she meant but he wanted her to say it, 'Okay, if that's what you want.'
"I don't want to think that we are dating as a deal!" Claire hesitated to look at him after saying that, she knew they were going to date, she knew it wasn't real, but she didn't want to think of it as a deal, it made her feel like she was betraying her feeling for him.
"But-" Jason's, "Look I know it's fake but please if you want me to act as your girlfriend, then I would appreciate if you stopped calling it a deal." Claire took a deep breath as she finished her statement.
Jason was shocked, he didn't expect her to be this vocal about her thoughts, Jason just nodded her head and cleared his throat, "Um, then let's go to the mansion and tell everyone about us." Jason stuttered.
Claire nodded her head and both of them got up to leave, they walked towards the door, Claire was walking behind him, as Jason was about to open the door, someone opened it before him making him close his eyes in irritation, "Didn't I tell you to knock before entering my cabin?" Jason asked.
Claire was standing behind him, so she couldn't see who it was, "Jason we have an emergency!" Austin said, ignoring the words of his friend, "What?" Jason asked getting pissed off because of Austin.
"As you told me to keep an eye on him, you know what I found?" Austin asked, not knowing Claire was standing behind Jason, "Keep an eye on who?" Claire asked, Austin widen his eyes hearing her voice, he glanced at Jason who nodded his head, making him aware that she was there.
Jason moved aside, letting Austin see her, Austin smiled at her nervously tried to cover up his words, Jason gritted his teeth wanting to smack him on his head, "Oh, Claire what are you doing here?"
Claire noticed how he tried to ignore her question, "I asked you a question first." Austin gulped and glanced at Jason asking for help, but Jason glared at him, "Claire he was talking about one of the employees in the company." Jason said.
Claire looked at him and even though she didn't believe him she nodded her head, "Claire if you don't mind can you wait till, I talk to Austin?" Jason asked, Claire and Austin looked at him in disbelief, he was actually asking her, which everyone knew he never did, Claire nodded her head and was about to walk out of his cabin when he held her hand and said, "I told you to wait not to leave."
Austin was staring at them, when he some whispering behind him he turned around only to see some employees staring at the Jason and Claire, Austin cleared his throat making the employees leave.
"If you guys are done let's sit inside and talk." Austin said, and walked inside the cabin, Claire also followed behind, and Jason smirked at her flushed face, "Jason, he met her!" Austin suddenly said, making him confused.
"Met who?" He asked, "Her the one who left!" Ausitn widens his eyes trying to make Jason understand, Claire was sitting beside Jason on the couch, while Ausitn was sitting on a chair, she wasn't understanding what he was talking about, but she decided to keep her mouth shut.
"Austin, just tell me who he met?" Jason was frustrated, Austin sighed loudly and shouted, "He met her, Isabelle Thomas!" Jason went stiff hearing her name, he fisted his hand trying not to scare Claire.
She noticed the sudden change in Jason, she wondered who Isabelle Thomas was, "Are you sure?" Jason asked, his voiced laced with anger, "I have proof." Austin replied, and gave him his phone, Jason took his phone and saw the pictures where Jake was carrying her on his back, in some pictures they were drinking.
'So, they are planning something!' Jason thought, he clutched the phone tightly, but Austin snatched the phone away from him, "Man, this is my phone."
Jason didn't want to create any trouble for Claire as he was sure by now both of them would have talked about him and Claire, "I will drop you home." Jason said, as he got up to leave, Claire nodded her head, "You don't worry I will drop her." Austin told him, Jason raised an eyebrow at his friend's suggestion, and asked, "And why do you suggest this?"
Austin walked towards Jason and whispered, "Because if she sees you with Claire, she will definitely go behind her." Jason understood and nodded his head, he turned towards Claire and held her hand making her confused, "Claire, I'm sorry but is it okay if Austin drops you at the mansion?" Claire was shocked by his actions and Austin was impressed by his friend's acting he never expected Jason could act so well. Claire nodded her head but before Claire could say something to Claire Austin snatched her hand away from Jason and left from there making Jason curse at him.
