"Claire, I have something to ask you." Jasmine said, she was sitting on the floor, taking a bite from her cheese pizza, "Hmm." Claire hummed in response, getting comfortable on the couch, both of them were sitting in the living room, watching a movie, having a girl's night.
"Have you thought about what you are going to do now?" Jasmine asked glancing at Claire who's eyes were glued on the tv. "For now, nothing, but I plan to get a part time job."
Claire knew she had to get a job as soon as possible, now that she can't ask money from her dad or Maria, "I'm going to attend a party tomorrow, would you like to come with me?" Jasmine asked, "You already know my answer." Claire said, Jasmine knew Claire hated to be in crowded places.
"I know but, please come with me." Jasmine pleaded, she knew Claire would not say a no, when she feels someone desperately needs help.
"I get what you're trying to do, stop the drama!" Claire fake an angry look, making Jasmine gulp in fear, even if Claire was her best friend, she knew not to make her angry.
Claire saw how sad Jasmine looked, and felt a bit guilty, she knew beside her Jasmine hardly had any friends, Claire groaned and said, "Okay."
"Huh?" Jasmine asked in confusion, "I will come with you." Claire said, making Jasmine hug her legs tightly, "Thank you!" Jasmine shouted. "So…." Jasmine said a smirk forming on her face. Claire stopped chewing her pizza and gave Jasmine a suspicious look. "What?"
"Tomorrow, let's go shopping!" Jasmine shouted, getting up from the floor, and jumping on the couch, "Ah.. No!, not happening." Claire said, getting up from the couch and going towards her room.
Jasmine hugged her from behind, "Please, I have to look my best." Claire rolled her eyes, "Then who stopped you, go and buy the whole mall." Claire wiggled out from her grip.
"Please, I want to impress someone, I need a friend to guide me!" Jasmine sighed, Claire eyes widen at Jasmine's words, "What, impress, who, have I met him?" Claire asked in one breath, making Jasmine chuckle.
"One at a time girl," Jasmine said, "Okay, so… I met him in a meeting, he was too good to be true and no you haven't met him."
Claire nodded her head, she haven't seen Jasmine, crushing on someone like this before, she was now a bit curious to know who he was. "So, will I meet him at the party."
Jasmine nodded her head in response, blushing a bit, Claire teased her a bit, after sometime both of them went in their rooms.
In the middle of the night, Claire could hear some noises from the living room, she groaned in frustration 'who the hell is disturbing my sleep'.
She slowing opened her room only to hear silence, it's not like she was scared of ghosts or anything, but still being careful is no harm.
"J, is that you?" Claire asked, there was a only a bit light from the lamp, in the living room when she saw a figure, it's back was towards Claire, so she could not see, it's face.
"Hmm, Bella it's me." Jasmine answered and turn towards her, making Claire scream, Jasmine closed her ears, and ran towards Claire, making her scream louder, Jasmine covered Claire's mouth with her hands.
"Why the hell, are you shouting?" Jasmine asked, Claire pointed a finger towards Jasmine's face making her roll her eyes at Claire.
"What! this is a face mask." Jasmine said, moving her hand away from Claire's mouth, "Please, next time warn me before you put on a face mask." Claire said putting her hands on her chest.
"Whatever." saying that Jasmine went towards her room, making Claire laugh at her expression.

Next day both the girls went to shopping, Claire was tired, they were there for an hour but still Jasmine didn't like any dress, "Choose anything!" Claire shouted at her.
Suddenly Claire saw a dress, it was purple in colour, shimmering beautifully, instantly she knew she wanted the dress, but when she saw the prize, her eyes widen.
"I absolutely can't afford this." Claire sighed, "Claire! what do you think about this dress?" Jasmine asked showing her a blue colour off shoulder, knee length dress, "It's perfect."
Jasmine smiled and bought the dress, "What are you going to buy?" Jasmine asked, "I'm not buying anything, I already have a new dress at home." Claire said making Jasmine nod her head.
When they reached home, Claire slumped on the couch, they were back after five hours, "I'm never gonna shop with you again." Claire said making Jasmine laugh.
Jasmin put a bag in front of Claire, "What is this?" Claire asked in confusion, "it's a gift, for coming with me." Jasmine said.
Claire opened the bag and saw the same dress, her eyes widen in shock, "Why did y-".
"Don't even think about saying anything, or a thank you, and you're wearing this." Jasmine said sternly, making Claire nod her head.

"It's a big party." Claire said eyeing the venue it was like they have called the whole city, "Let's go." Jasmine said, entering the venue, Claire followed behind her.
Even if this was a party but it was so boring for Claire, she saw Jasmine talking to her colleagues, If she was going to be that busy, why did she asked me come here', Claire thought.
Jasmine turned towards Claire giving her a sorry look, suddenly she saw a man coming towards Jasmine, as she blushed looking at him, "Oh... he is the one." Claire whispered.
He wasn't that handsome, but she was okay if her friend liked him. Claire watched as both of them were talking, but suddenly that man turned towards her and winked, making Claire know what kind of guy he was.
Claire walked towards him with a smile, "Hello." Claire said making Jasmine whisper, "Why are you here." "To teach this guy a lesson."
"What did you wink at me when you have a girlfriend?" Claire asked, smiling innocently at him. Jasmine's eye widen.
"What? Girlfriend and this girl, she is just an employee!" He shouted making people around them, turn their heads towards Jasmine.
"Then why did you invite me?" Jasmine asked, she was trying to hold her tears, "I-I just...."He could not answer, Claire took a glass of water that was on the table beside them and threw it on him.
