Kai looked at the additional twenty percent on the completion rate of his sub-task and thought, 'Stephan's cheating and Charlie's pregnancy actually accounted for this much. Do they play a crucial role in the plot?'
He remembered the time when Meghan said Charlie went to Wallux Town a month ago. Thinking about it now, the pregnancy report also showed the date to be a month ago.
Did Charlie come to the town after learning she was pregnant? Why does she keep those photos of Stephan cheating with other women?
Kai doesn't have more clues to figure out the answer.
The time limit for the free pass is three hours. He already used a little more than half an hour so he have more than two hours left.
Kai decided to use this remaining hour to explore the hotel and check the other ten's hotel rooms.
The hotel had five floors. Charlie's room on the fifth floor was the farthest from the elevator so he had basically already explored the entire floor during the time Charlie came and went to her room.
To be on the safe side, he still checked every corner of the floor, making sure no dark energy which ghosts like the one they were tasked to find had.
Next, he came to the fourth floor using the elevator. The hotel rooms of Meghan, Stephan, and Jester we're closed tightly.
Kai don't have any lock-picking skills so he put this matter last and checked the entire floor. Every floor has ten rooms, each facing the front.
After reaching the last room, Kai directly used the stairs to go down to the third floor. He repeated this process until he reached the lobby.
Andrew was idling in the lobby, bored. The first day of the assessment is always the most boring for on-site assessors like him.
There are no deaths, no tension, no fighting, not even a small bit of spilled blood. There is just no good show to watch.
He remembered Charlie had stayed in her room. Should he go bother him?
Before Andrew could put the plan into action, the Charlie in his thought had already come to him, making him slightly furrow his brows. This guy actually dared to deliberately act out of character. Is he not afraid of pain?
"You're that in a hurry to finish your task?"
Kai almost jumped in shock hearing Andrew's abrupt words behind him. Looking back, he found the man leaning on the wall, his arms crossed on his chest.
"...Mr. Andrew, as an NPC, are you really allowed to talk to a supposed-to-be 'invisible' person at this time?"
Andrew paused, the anger that was about to form inside him halting. He was reminded, 'That's right. I'm here to play an NPC. I wasn't supposed to talk to any candidate without a prompt.'
Still, he wasn't willing to let Kai go. He shrugged, "My original setting is a tour guide. Since you're exploring the hotel anyway, shouldn't I lead you?"
Kai really can't understand this guy. Obviously, it was him who told him to act as if the last time at the shrine didn't happen and treat him as an ordinary npc yet here he was acting all familiar to him.
Knowing the other wouldn't listen to anything he say, he just let him be. In any case, it wasn't a big deal if he wants to follow or not.
As a result, everyone saw Andrew walking with Charlie and giving her an exclusive tour of the facilities in the hotel lobby.
Kai wasn't able to find traces of dark energy after the tour which he found odd since the hotel should be the 'crime scene' where deaths would transpire.
He only discovered the townspeople staying with them walking around the hotel as if guarding something.
The screen showed Kai still had some time left in his free pass after he got back to Charlie's room so he used this time to fiddle with Charlie's phone some more and check her luggage.
There wasn't anything else on the phone but he found a pregnancy test kit with two red lines and the hard copy of the pregnancy report in the suitcase.
Kai tucked these things in the most convenient position in the suitcase so it would be easier to take them out later if he happened to need them.
After doing this, he looked at the timer on the screen and the time on his phone.
Charlie was supposed to be sleeping now but he still have twenty minutes left in the free pass.
Kai went to the bathroom to let Charlie wash, once again turning off his vision while making sure Charlie was done before the time limit ended.
Done doing all this, he lay on the bed, immediately falling asleep following the timer's end.
Meghan finished her bath and put on her most sexy lingerie after they got back to the hotel, covering it with an almost see-through nightgown.
She then went to Stephan's room flamboyantly, not meaning to hide her visit at all. In any case, Charlie and Stephan had already broken up, what does she still need to hide?
Meghan knocked on the door, waiting for a few seconds before it opened and Stephan came out.
Seeing her attire, Stephan squinted his eyes, bowing down to capture her lips. "Babe, you look sexy."

As if to answer his thoughts, the prompt show how Meghan moaned with pleasure as she encourage Stephan to move faster.
Louise cursed with all his might.
When he had been exposed to this for the first time last night, he was beyond embarrassed. He had been sickly since young and basically grew up staying at the hospital.
He had only heard of these adult matters in books and movies. Being suddenly exposed to them while he was inside a woman's body, he didn't know how to react.
When he was offered to stay in Hell City and was asked to choose which department he would like to be part of, he unhesitatingly chose the Grim Reaper Department, thinking it was the coolest among all the departments.

The colorful prompt last night made him feel the urgency of clearing the tasks.
Up until now, he was only able to gather barely thirty percent of the plot. He didn't even have a clue as to which candidate was playing Stephan yet, his sub-task.
The safe night had been over and tonight will definitely not be peaceful. If he received a black prompt later, wouldn't he be finished?
At eleven before midnight, Meghan and Stephan had finally done enough and went to sleep. Due to the previous exercise, their sleep was quite deep.
It was the wee hours of the morning. Meghan was woken up by a hand groping around her body. Without opening her eyes, she spoke in a hoarse voice. "Babe, I'm tired."
The groping hand didn't stop, becoming even more restless.
Meghan seemed to hear a dripping sound in the background but she was unsure if she was hearing it clearly.
As the hand started reaching down, Meghan finally got annoyed. Opening her eyes, she looked back at the person groping her.
The bedside lamp on Stephan's side was on. Due to his body facing her, his face was shrouded in darkness and his features were somewhat blurred. Meghan was unable to see Stephan clearly but their closeness made her certain the other had his eyes closed.
She held down the other's restless hand. "Stop pretending to be asleep. Take off your hands now."
Stephan didn't listen, still groping down while in her hold and finally touching her delicate area. Meghan felt the hands fondling her roughly and couldn't help moaning, her resistance weakening.
Her body began to heat up, her sleepiness having been washed away. With her hand still on the other's, she pressed the man's hands, urging him to continue.
Stephan got permission and removed his hand, replacing it with his object.

Meghan opened her eyes wide in horror. She wanted to shout and get away but found that her limbs were stiff and her mouth was only able to make a small noise.
From the place where they were connected, Meghan felt something being released inside her, making her shudder from the accompanying discomfort.
The 'Stephan' behind her continued to release, filling up her womb until it swell like a balloon.
Meghan felt like she was being forcefully stuffed with pins and needles, the excruciating pain suffocating her. Tears rolled up her face.
The things inside her womb began to move around her body, gnawing at her insides. Meghan's pain tripled, the sound from her mouth becoming urgent and loud.
Beside her, Stephan continued to sleep soundly, not at all disturbed.
Meghan watched her blood begin to soak the whole bed but still wasn't able to wake up her lover, making her unbearable.
The things inside her body slowly drilled out from her pores, making her look like a bloodied sieve when she died.
Moments before she died, a colorful prompt appeared on the candidates' screens.
