So,in other words, James wanted over a billion copper coins for a simple thing like compensation.

For the treatment of his grandson who was right in front of them looking mighty fine.

"YOU F*CKING EVIL BASTARD, HOW DARE YOU!!!" The king could no longer remain composed after hearing such an unduly high amount.
Alex, Lily and the two generals all had their Jaws dropped, all of them were wondering how the old man could say such an amount without choking on his saliva.
The other male general in the room who looked to be in his middle 40s opened his mouth and spoke, "James, we all respect you and your standing as an elder, but, if you came here to speak sh*t like that, then..."He closed his eyes, took a huge breath and then opened his eyes which were now filled with hostility, " GET THE F*CK OUT OF HERE!!!"
A strong pressure emenated from his body..
Alex and Lily covered their ears when the general shouted madly like that. Lily's ears and nose even started bleeding.
"Lily!," Alex caught her as she was about to fall down and pulled her a little distance away.
Cough!
She coughed blood which got all over Alex's shirt, "I-I am.....s-sorry for...cough...staining your clothes" Her voice was weak and her entire body was trembling. The light in her eyes seemed to be.....fading.
"Hang on", He ripped a part of his shirt and started wiping the blood.
*Grab*
Alex turned around when a hand suddenly grabbed him:
"Who...?"
It was grandfather James. His hand seemed to be glowing with a green color.
"Let me"He said and touched Lily's forehead after which, she started looking a little better.
" Wow"Alex could not help but be awed by it. Magic was still new and alien to him, so, he decided that after he went home, he would start his magic learning with grandfather James.
Plus, now, he also has another reason to learn magic. If not for grandfather James, he wasn't sure what would have happened to Lily.
He needed power to protect his loved ones.
As he was busy thinking about his future goals, grandfather James suddenly spoke:
"Take Lily home to your grandmother, only she can fully heal her"
Alex looked at Lily who was struggling a little bit to stand and helped her.
"Let me" He pulled her and once she was fully standing, he supported her since she was a little bit weak.
"We'll be going now" He said to grandfather James as he started walking to the door with Lily.
Once he reached the door, Alex turned back and looked at the person responsible for Lily's current condition with a face that seemed to say 'watch out' and then left.

After confirming that Alex was out of the castle, grandfather James looked at the general who had released his pressure before.
His upper face turned dark that his eyes could no longer be seen.
The king and the female General both had the same thought in their heads which was:
"He is done for"
The male general felt a chills in his spine when he saw James' face.
"Those who dare harm my family must die"James suddenly disappeared.
"!!!"
The general looked around trying to find James but, he couldn't find him. He then closed his eyes and tried to feel his energy but, the result was the same
If he could not feel his energy, it only meant one thing
The old man...
Is stronger than him!
Knowing that, the old man activated all of his defence spells to protect himself from any possible attack from James.
But, can the defenses of a weak person protect them against the strong?
Bam!
James' fist broke the defense spells like thin glass and hit the general in the face with a powerful punch.
Ptwwa
His entire head exploded and pieces of it flew in different directions. His headless body powerlesly fell to the ground twitching violently as it sprayed blood from the neck.
He died..
The King and the female general did not make a sound for they were some of the people who knew a secret about the old man.
He was powerful!
But that's not all. There was another reason they don't dare cause trouble with him like the headless fool on the floor.
James then looked at the king with the same emotinless expression. His eyes which were filled with life and greed a few minutes ago looked like those of dead fish.
"Can't blame me can you?"
The King and the female general shook their heads.
They weren't stupid...

After leaving the castle, Alex put Lily in the carriage and took control.
Although he had never done it before, the horses were awfully obedient and surprisingly knew where to go, so, he did not have much trouble controlling it.
Plus, Lilywas also confirming the directions.

After and hour, they finally arrived, without problems on the way.
Alex went and helped Lily off the carriage:
He supported her like before and helped her inside the mansion.
"Great heavens!, what happened to my grand daughter in law!" Grandmother James ran to them when she saw Lily being supported by Alex.
Since this was an emergency situation, Alex did not here the blunder in his grandmother's words
Or maybe, he ignored it....
"She needs to be healed"
Grandmother Helena decided to ask whatever questions she had later and heal Lily first.
She touched Lily's forehead and soon, her hands started glowing.
Unlike grandfatherJames's hands which glowed green, her hands were glowing silver with white energyencircling them.

The discomfort that was on Lily's face disappeared as soon as grandma said the the utterance. She now looked fine.
"Thank you...g-grandmother"Lily thanked grandmother Helenaand for some unknown reason, he gave was red.
"What's going on?"
They suddenly heard a female voice behind them and turned back.
A beautiful woman was standing there wearing a maid dress. She had a beautiful pair of blue eyes, short black hair and white skin.
Her body looked trained, her arms had muscels that threatened tear the arms part of her dress and although covered, Alex could see faint abdominal muscle patterns on her stomach.
Her eyes looked sharp like.... a soldier's and the aura that surrounded her was that of a warrior.
Somehow, he felt a strong connection with the woman than everyone in the family.
Just who is this woman?
"Nothing, everything is fine now"Grandmother Helena answered her earlier question.
Since it was already solved, there was no need for her to make the others worried.
"ohh, ok"The woman nodded her head and then turned to look at Alex who was looking at her with squinted eyes as if trying to discover something.
She showed a gentle, motherely smile and spoke :
"Hello, my son".
