In the World of Argon, the profession of wizards had ruled everything since no one can remember.
In the Continent of Rydal, there were the three great wizard kingdoms namely Lethora, Midgurd, Matsumoto that always had tyrannical power among the ten countries in existence.
Seeing the door to his royal chamber in sight, a 10-year-old boy giggled as he sprinted forth the door to quickly close it.
"Your highness?" the royal attendant reacted quickly and sprinted too to stop the kid's quick strode.
"Hehe."
The ten year old prince didn't turn his head and continued to chuckle as he quickly reached the cabin before his attendant can reach him.
When he finally entered the door, right before his attendant can squeeze into the tiny gap, he quickly pushed the door with a kick in the rear. A move he had practiced countless times.
Bang!
The royal attendant frowned before he made sure to evade the dangerous impact of the closing door.
"Your highness, don't forget your awakening ceremony this afternoon!" the royal attendant sighed as he made sure to remind the prince from outside.
Prince Harold heard him and answered back with a sigh, "Don't disturb me then. I would take a nap before that happens."
Seeing that the door was locked from inside with a complicated lock controlled by him, the boy grinned in satisfaction.
Hidden from his golden bangs, the beautiful pair of golden eyes turned his eyes in the room and suddenly; his eyes suddenly turned serious.
His pupils cautiously darted around the room, as though someone was hiding behind the little furniture in the room.
Somehow, the young kid felt off.
In order to shrug his worry with some noise, he walked towards his bed and ordered the television to turn on.
As soon as he spoke the words TV on, a magic hologram appeared in the opposite wall. The screen was of an irregular shape and seemed like an abstract however, the resolution and definition of it was extremely realistic.
As expected, it was turned to Leth's News, the biggest news channel network in the kingdom of Lethora.
Harold lazily sat against the bed sheets to watch the seemingly excited pretty female reporter that was being shown.
"Good morning everyone! This is Royal Gossip! Today, we're visiting the Royal Palace! Today is the Awakening Ceremony of the rumored 'perfect prince'."
"Who is this young prince who is currently wreaking havoc, despite being very young and unawakened? Today we would find out BUT before that we would ask a few citizens." The female reporter started to ask around while the camera zoomed to different citizens.
"They say the third prince is really handsome!" a lady in his twenties said.
"He already knows six languages despite being just ten." A man with two round glasses said.
"Kyaaa! I heard stories about him training with the royal guards and seems to have great talent in martial arts." a girl wearing a school uniform said.
"They said he's also very sociable and really…very handsome."
"He's the best prince!"
"If there's anything I want for the kingdom, I want him to be the next king!"
"Doesn't that seem too much?"
"No!"
"Hahaha. I wonder what he would look like when he grows up?"
"He must look delicious, right?"
"A real prince charming…Kyaa!"
The female reporter acted stunned when she heard good comments one after another.
It was only a few weeks after she started working and she was only a substitute for the original reporter for this segment, but she had never imagined the reputation of this prince to be so good.
The third prince was still a kid so a few bad comments must surface, right?
Of course, she was also thinking of something different.
What kind of public relations had the royal family gave to the third prince?
Maintaining her composure, she asked the last interviewee again, "I see…but did you hear that today is his awakening ceremony? Can you give us comments about what could happen?"
The old man glanced at her and replied as if the answer was obvious, "He'll probably become a powerful wizard. The royals were always like that, probably S-Tier…or A-Tier if his mother's blood was more powerful. "
"HAHAHAHAHA!...Tch!"
Harold laughed and snitched mockingly when he heard the response from his room.
"Should I try to meet them?" he just played with the thought and imagined then he grinned and answered, "No…"
He yawned loudly and his golden eyelashes flickered sleepily before he slammed his little body to the bed.
"This is annoying…" he said, "TV Off!" he ordered and the magic hologram quickly disappeared.
'Awakening ceremony…'
In this world, the tenth birthday marked the natural possibility of becoming a wizard.
The scene is like when 10 year old kid placed his palms to a magic crystal, the presence of a glowing crystal will indicate whether one will become a wizard or not.
'If someone doesn't have hands, will they become a wizard though?'
With the nearing of the revelation whether he could wield magic or not in the future, the prince's line of thoughts was nowhere near nervous nor excited.
To him, this afternoon was more of a normal one like a day he woke up and a night he would sleep. It was not like he was not a real kid or a reincarnated dude from another world, but he also had a shocking secret.
Moreover, he was especially disapproving of casting spells from a distance, obliterating his opponents which is what most wizards do.
To him, that was no fun at all.
What was fun was close combat battles.
The ability to rampage like a bull, annihilating enemies with bladed weapons like a sharp obelisk was a style he dreamed more of having.
However, what could he do?
He was a prince of the Kingdom of Lethora, one of the three great wizard kingdoms so if he was to be tested fortunate with magic, won't he just become a wizard like his older brothers?
"Being a good boy is really hard," he lazily mumbled and for a second his eyelashes flickered, as he summoned his 'secret'.
Suddenly, a screen appeared in his eyes.
