Morning came as Nicole woke up from her sleep turning her head to see Jasper wasn't there. She could feel a shift change in him when he left her in bed last night but hadn't returned to her since this morning. She gets up from the bed despite still being her night down She had come to check on him, worried about his condition despite the reprieve the potion had provided. Jasper stood by the window, his silhouette framed by the moonlight, a dark and brooding presence.
"Jasper," Nicole called softly, her voice tinged with concern. "How are you feeling?"
Jasper turned to face her, his eyes glinting with a dangerous intensity. The corruption within him had been growing stronger, and tonight, it clawed at the edges of his sanity, demanding to be unleashed. He took a step closer, his gaze fixed on Nicole with a predatory hunger.
"I'm...better," he replied, his voice a low, seductive murmur. "Thanks to you."
