Chapter 1 - GENESIS.

The cashier was fidgeting. His lips were shaking, and his eyes were bloodshot. He didn't know what to do as the gun was pointed at him.

'Get the money fast; we have no time to waste!' The masked man yells on top of his lungs. His eyes looked very eager to shoot.

Suddenly, another masked man walks to the first and says, 'I think someone called the police. Let's get this money and leave immediately.' Soon enough, they see two policemen coming closer to the store.

'Let's get out of here!' the first masked man grabs the money from the shop cashier, even though, the amount was not very convincing , and the two men make a run for it. They ran until they were out of breath, and out of the sight of the police.

In Cyberson's Golden Dream Academy, Los Angeles, United States, three girls who were very beautiful: Vanya, who is strawberry blonde, with a ponytail hairstyle, and porcelain skin toned; Charlotte, who is a little shorter than the rest. She has a ginger hair, with a freckled face; and Maryam, who is caramel brown, with a braided hair; and she is the tallest.

These girls were regarded as the classiest girls of the school, due to their background, beauty, and most especially their smartness. No boy in the school had ever summoned courage to talk to any of them twice, except if spoken to. They were the bomb.

One day, a boy, tall and handsome, with lovely blue eyes, and a mullet hairstyle, known as Stanley, the coolest boy in the school. He saw Vanya sitting in the library. So, he decides to summon courage and talk to her.

'Hello, Vanya,' he smiles as he sits close to her, but she didn't say anything.

'What are you up to?' He speaks yet again, but no response from Vanya. She was busy studying. She was in the world of her own. Stanley decides to push it further, so, he taps Vanya on her shoulder. To his amazement, he receives a hard slap from Vanya, who was rather hostile for a lady.

'If you dare touch me again, I will give you a harder slap,' She says rudely and leaves with her head held high.

A boy, who was caramel skinned, with an undercut hairstyle; was sitting on his bed, looking sad. Then suddenly, he hears some disturbing sounds down the first floor. He stands from his bed and goes down the stairs to investigate the noise. As he walked down holding the banister, carefully; he sees two masked men enter the house. At first, he was very frightened, but his fright faded away as soon as they pulled off their masks. One of them was the boy's dad; and the other, the boy's father's friend.

'It was sheer bad luck tonight. That store is bad luck; we could have been caught today,' Mr. Myles, the boy's father complains. '…And the money we got is really small,' he continues.

The two men were still talking, when Mr. Myles sees his son just standing right in front of them, while they confessed their sins.

'Oliver, what are you doing here late at night?' Mr. Myles' friend asks with a confused look.

'Dad is it true, that you…?' The boy looks at his dad with heartbrokenness. '…You told me you walked for the government.'

There was silence; Mr. Myles knew he had broken the trust his son had for him. He looked guilty.

'Son, I couldn't…' he pauses and looks at his son. 'I am a school dropout. I looked for a job, but I… I found none, which the pay was good. I know I failed you, son. I chose a bad path in life. I don't want you to make the same mistake. That's why I'll try my possible best to give you a great life.' He sobs a little, then, he hugs his son passionately.

Oliver knew his father did all this for him, and he was grateful.
